If you're referencing me, what does my post count have to do with my knowledge of the game? I saw the kid play a good game today, and am happy for all Bills fans that he did so.
Lump away, if I deserve it, but I think he was pretty good, better than some of the CB's we've had in the passed few years.
-
Rex wants a mulligan on Dee Milliner. Darby WILL get toasted this week, call it on the job training.
How's that crow taste, about now?
-
The media may not be excited about Tyrod, but a bunch of players and coaches that have been around him are. And I think that is more telling.
I agree, and it seems the Ravens were Raving about him, pun intended.
-
I don't know about that, you certainly hear people on this site often complaining about the stupid non-sports related topics they spend hours discussing.
And the reason he's so condescending all the time is he has to deal with so many poeple who are just so dumb and don't understand life like he does.
I get some callers are kinda stupid, but how many good callers quit calling (myself, for one) because of how you get treated? Other hosts don't downgrade the listeners like he does. Murph is friendly, and Howard and Jeremy are decent to callers. I think it's just Schopps demeanor to be rude.
-
I don't think their shows content is the issue people have with Schopp, it's his arrogant, condescending attitude towards his callers, the very people he needs for his job.
-
Funny. I heard the exact opposite from a guy who used to be an on-air host at GR.
Me, too. I know someone that works there, it's been stated what an arrogant ass he is, doesn't even speak, and looks down on people.
I met him once, wasn't impressed even a little bit.
-
Why did he dislike Rivers? I can understand him wanting to punch Cutler, and maybe J.P., but Rivers always seemed like a good guy.
-
I don't listen to Schopp anymore. He's brutal.
I never did like him. I thought he was an arrogant D-bag the first time I ever heard him. Now, years later, I still feel the same way I did years ago.
He likes a good discussion, so he states, but I never hear him have a discussion with anyone, because he is so condescending to everyone who even bothers to call in. I have listened to him a little bit lately, after a near 3 year hiatus, mostly because I want to listen to Bills talk, and I can listen during the time he is on. I so wish we had an alternative to him and his boorish attitude.

Just another thoughtless, uninformed, wasted pick by Buddy Nix. He had zero business making draft picks, as he was totally out of touch with the modern game.
Let's just all hope that with the change in ownership, we won't have to deal with coaches and GM's that shouldn't even be in the league, never mind having the power to make personnel decisions.
E.J. won't even be on the roster after the final cut, I'm certain of it.

Pony up 3 yr $26M $15M guaranteed for Orton. Price will only get higher closer to opening day. Guy had a 90 rating with no running game no reps and Hackett/Marrone to overcome.
I wonder if dealing with those two assclowns led to Orton's decision to retire. He has been around enough to realize they both were incompetent, and likely left because of it.

I don't get why the NFL can't leave well enough alone. The one proposal was to narrow the uprights. Thats great for the Zillionaires to tell the local govt to fix that but what about college's and high schools? I vote quit screwing with the game on this and everything else. Not like they are hurting for customers!
I couldn't agree more, Mike. The idea of changing for the sake of change is ludicrous, in my opinion. They are going to go to far, and the game's popularity will drop. I hate to see this happen, football is the only sport I even care about anymore.
-
The game is fine the way it is. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"
More of Goodells NFL, that is ruining a great game!
He needs to go, along with anyone that follows his way of thinking.
The game is secondary, money is primary. Ask NASCAR how that worked out for them?

When McKelvin gets cut, it exemplifies that we're making real progress.
I agree. Just last night on the Channel 2 news, they showed a highlight of McLovin getting lit up by Brady in the home game last year. In my opinion, he simply gets beat too often, usually at a critical point.
He gets some picks, but more often than not he is in the right place at right time, not because he made a great play on the ball.
I just want to be better, and I think we can improve there.
-
Dear League:
Stop !@#$ing with the game. How's about leaving the rules and format alone for five years, so that we can actually enjoy it without having to learn new rules?
Exactly! Why do they continue to F with the game, when it's fine, now!
-
How many times has McKelvin had a chance to make a play, but the pass is completed as the ball whizzes right by his earhole, as he is in his customary position of playing chase.
I really hope he goes, we can do much better at that corner position.
-
It works fine just the way it is. This is another reason why the NFL is going the wrong way, all under Goodells watchful eye.
-
ha ha
he has never been overated. ever.
Watch the tape from the Bears game last year, and see how he played chase the whole game. Watch the tape of him getting lit up by Brady in the home game last year, for a couple examples. He is overrated. Very overrated. Graham is much better than he is, and I believe the new staff will see just that.
-
No way Leodis is better than Graham. I think Leodis IS expendable, and very overrated.
-
I forgot Cassell went to USC. I hope you see my point, though, and his success hasn't been huge, either, although I think the way they are building this team, he might have found a fit for his skill set.
We will see.
-
Name one USC quarterback not named Carson Palmer that has been even remotely decent in the NFL in the last 40 years? Thanks, but I'll take Cassell over him any day.
-
The only thing preventing EJ from being a great QB is that he can't throw the football accurately.
This is exactly right on. If he hasn't learned to throw the ball accurately on a consistant basis by now, he likely isn't going to. He has probably been playing QB for at least 12-15 years by now.
I want him to come out and be great this training camp, but just don't think he's going to be.
-
I don't think it's out of line to sarcastically thank Marrone for leaving. It started the ball rolling like all of us Bills fans have been waiting for.
I have loved this team for 42 years, and have never seen the moves made and players and coaches handled like we are now.
Had ownership not changed, we wouldn't have Rex, McCoy, Cassel, or likely anything positive.
Other than the 4 Super Bowl years, this might be the greatest time ever to be a Bills fan, and I'm loving it.
-
I love that Fitz is headed to the Jets, our D should get at least 4 picks in each game!
-
I can hear it now, Favre's press conference at OBD, the first thing he would say is: "I told Percy I'd do this!"
Rome would be all over it.
Is Darby a lock to start?

Sorry if I was out of context, I was a bit unsure he was directing his comment to me. No big deal, just glad Darby played well. Looking for better things next week against the "evil empire."
