for three long years i had to endure the ej lovers threads on bbmb ad nauseum until reality finally......became reality.

then on here where i'm supposed to be a low life bbmb refugee, i see three years of the taylor lovers spewing greatness over a qb who, if not for an andy dalton miracle would be nothing more than an upcoming roster bonus discussion. i went to bat for tt early on when the season started and before, but saw that i was wrong and he is what he is and it ain't good.....or any where near it. reality is knocking on the door.

but , we are a day away from playing the first playoff game since 99 and people are starting and adding to pages of pukeworthy taylor love/nate hate discussions is unbelievable.

You couldn't be more accurate, Redneck.

  2. Why are you pitting the two against each other? Peterman made two critical throws in the snow that TT wouldn't have even considered.

And, ponder this: Had the Dolphins cashed in on the final drive and won last week, the four points TT left on the field missing a wide open O'Leary would have been the difference.

I don't see how some of you morons think he is a good quarterback. He misses way too many plays. And, I know, I know, he doesn't turn it over. I wouldn't turn it over, either, if I only threw it if a guys was open by 20 yards.

Not sure why you're so sure Taylor is nowhere close.

For one thing, his style of play is very similar to Russell Wilson, who won a SB and appeared in another. He plays far better than Peyton did in SB 50 season and can do more. He's better than both Flacco & Kaep. You can debate if he's better than Eli Manning but I'd rather have Tyrod.

Seems to me as though the future is unwritten. Why not give Tyrod a season with consistency at WR? We have not seen that.

Wilson had over 32 touchdown passes, and only 11 or so picks. He is lightyears better than Taylor. We did not get to playoffs because of Taylor, we got there in spite of him. With even average qb play, like 15-18th in passing, we could have a shot. And the WR argument is tiresome, he has some pretty good talent there. He simply isn't good enough.

There is no football move anymore. Its either you have established yourself as a runner ot you've completed the catch to the ground. Black and white. James lost possession before he completed the catch. Incomplete.

My guess with Cooks is he caught it with both feet in bounds then went out of bounds. Looked like Santonio Holmes Superbowl catch ahainst the Cardinals.

You are so full of B.S.! And James had more than completed the catch! You A-hole Chowd fans always have an excuse! And, in my vast experience, most of you asshats don't know the first thing about the game!

You're such a huge fan? Tell me who Randy Vataha was, or Sam Cunningham? Oh, yeah, you will google it! Go screw yourself, and the cheating lickwad team you cheer for!

I don't know who incenses me more, the team, or the F-ing morons who cheer for them!

  5. I have seen them get unbelieveable breaks way too many times in the last 20 years, starting with "just give it to 'em," tuck rule game, countless pick plays and push offs by Gronk, pass rushers jerseys stretching 2 feet off their body while being held or tackled, to all the calls this year!

You will no way convince me that they are getting favoritism, and the douche that is overturning these calls needs to seriously be investigated!

If they played by the same rules as the other teams, the so called GOATS would be much more average.

Oh, not to mention the phantom "illegal contact" calls they get on critical 3rd downs to keep a drive alive!

It's the biggest reason I CANT STAND watching the NE games (besides losing all the time, of course).

I told my wife at the time of the KB TD that their was FULL EVIDENCE that it was a catch, but since it's NE, there is no doubt it will get overturned. I blanking hate being right.

I am getting sick of this crap and it makes me root for something I don't want to do..,........

root for a player, or players on NE to get hurt.

My frustration over this BS is at an all time level now.

Don't know you folks feel, but, I think you guys might in the same boat as me.

    EXACTLY how I feel!

    Yes

In my mind this is when i started hating the pats and boston in general...

It ended up costing buffalo a home playoff game and momentum for the div title...

Ralph Wilson and up writing a letter 2 Paul taglia boo about how disgusting he was with the officiating

It was a pretty public and disturbing letter in the NFL ended up finding Wilson like a quarter million dollars it was pretty bad

My stomach was ill for about 2 weeks after that game total con job

exactly spot on! I remember Andre Reed going crazy on the sideline, after the game, he said as the two zebras conferred, one said to the other, "just give it to 'em." Kinda when all the crap in New England started, moved onward with the tuck rule game. God I hate those cheating pricks!

  8. He is the 33rd ranked passer in a 32 team league, and he has amassed a whopping 9 points in 7 quarters against the Patriots!

What else do you need to know? What's more tiresome than him being bashed is idiots who actually think he's GOOD!

I have watched this team for 45 years, and he is easily in the bottom two or three quarterbacks we have ever had!

An even decent quarterback would have beaten the Panthers, possibly the Jets on the road, and would have really made the home game with the Patsys interesting, to say the least. I can't wait until he is gone, I have seen more than enough, was done with him last year.

No Goodwin was doing well with CJ Beathard..........a terrible QB..........his case was about wanting to do better.

He simply played the Bills for paychecks for 3 years.   They drafted him in the third round, he pocketed the bonus and the annual paycheck was small enough that he didn't fear getting cut.   Any number of teams would pick him up and pay him the same or more.  The Bills were always in a spot with him.........he was only going to apply himself if he had to and the Bills had no leverage.   He refused to play with any injury that might hinder his track ability and that also meant playing light.   He trained for track while on IR!

After he crapped himself in the Olympic trials he showed up at OBD skin-and-bones light, having done NO OFFSEASON FOOTBALL TRAINING........not even running routes in shorts.........and he battled thru the season using that as a de facto rookie season.    He played the Bills but at least they got one season out of him and it was an entertaining sub-plot watching him battle thru injuries because he knew with FA looming he couldn't mail in his performance any longer.

As for Bob......I wouldn't call 56 catches and 780 yards "prolific"..........Woods issue in Buffalo the prior two years was health.........Tyrod played like Goff has when he had a healthy Watkins and Woods as well.

Tyrod played like Goff? When? Where? for a series, maybe. You are dilusional, dude! The team is where they are this year IN SPITE OF TAYLOR, not because of him! I get it's been a long time since we have had a good quarterback here, but do you watch any other teams, and see what it is like to have a QB throw on time, in rhythm, throw a WR open, go through progressions? To compare Taylor to Goff is the funniest thing I have seen in quite some time! Thanks for the laugh, I needed it!

    B-)

100% spot on observation! Taylor cost us the Panthers game, the Jets game, the Pats game last week was very winnable, but, they wouldn't have beat Orchard Park High School with TT's 60 yards passing. The Saints game? Who knows. He was so rotten that it's hard to tell what may have played out with even marginally good QB play.

according to my dad, Marangi was better than Fergy, just never got a fair shake:lol:

I was still pretty young, 10 or 11, When Gary Marangi played. What your father said brings back a lot of memories.

I remember the debate about the two, Marangi and Ferguson, and remember when Fergy struggled, there was a lot of people calling for Marangi. Marangi did have some very good games, as did Fergy.

Personally, I always thought Fergy was a great quarterback, but was saddled with piss poor coaching pretty much the whole time he was here, until the end when Chuck Knox came to town.

Hard for me to pick a top five, as in 45 years of watching this team, I remember two good ones: Jim Kelly, Joe Ferguson.

I remember some god awful ones: Joe Dufek, Vince Ferregamo, Billy Joe Hobert, to mention a few.

  11. If you think Tyrod is even a decent NFL quarterback, you have no idea what you are watching!

His limitations so far outweigh any strengths he has, it's almost laughable. Sure, he can run/scramble, that's it.

    1. Won't throw a guy out of a break.

    2. Wont' give WR any chance to make a play unless he's wide open.

    3. Accuracy down field is poor, look at O'Leary pass late last week.

    4. Weak at reading defenses.

    5. Poor pocket presence.

    6. Holds ball way to long.

We were lucky to win last week, nothing, NOTHING to do with his 188 yards passing.

He cost us the game at Carolina, refused to throw the damn ball to anyone other than McCoy.

A true quarterback has an attitude, fire, like Kelly had. He, has none of it. A great athlete, seems like a great guy, but if they bring him back next year, my 45 years of supporting this team are over. Two decades of pure horshot quarterback play has worn me out.

  12. Haven't seen this, sorry. Haven't spent a lot of time on here.

2 stud pass rushers and a franchise qb always helps. They are playing great though, weapons all over the field on offense. I could see them beating out the chiefs for the division which would be great for us

Very true. And, given the fact he woudn't have made any move on a quarterback, either, we would likely be right where we are now, irregardless who is coaching.

  13. All that is likely true. However, it was Petermans very first start.

Taylor has started nearly 40 games now, and, in my, and many others opinions, has regressed.

This is all irrelevant, as this team is going nowhere now.

It was another off season where we stood status quo on the quarterback, when it was more than obvious what we had was no where near good enough, yet, we failed to address it again.
