  1. As production goes, your "fiery leader type" is plain and simply over-rated. There is plenty of leadership on this team on both sides of the ball already. There have been plenty of other factors that have contributed to losing games here in Buffalo . The team has repeatedly complimented DB and EM's leadership abilities, and I'm sure they are not concerned with what our impressions are of their on-field display of leadership. This is all IMO of course... ;-)

  2. I know what you mean... and how dare he ask London Fletcher why he kicked the ball from the LOS taking a dely of game penalty after be warned for doing the same thing earlier.  Who the hell does this Jerry Sullivan guy think he is?

Next he's gonna want to know why Tom Clements called for the deep ball on 3rd and inches instead of just doing a simple QB sneak to keep the chains moving.

You don't get it do you? They Dis him because he's a stevestojan eating A-Hole! He made his own bed....

  3. If any of you want to get a good hearty laugh, take a listen to the Jonas Jennings audio from yesterday on the official Bills site. He really shuts down Jerry S. It's hillarius!!

Also , in the MM audio from yesterday JS asks him about throwing long, and MM snubs his question as well :D Good stuff...

  4. TWO BILLS DRIVE the new home of the FAIR WEATHER FAN. I love how some fans just choose to make up things based off of the latest game. Eric Moulds fumbles and drops passes too much? LOL. The guy is a 9 year veteran and has 9 career fumbles. Where are the dropped passes? I didn't see any? He played last year on a torn groin and now in his first game back being healthy he had 8 catches and a TD. Are you kidding in your post or are you being serious?

I would continue to flame away but if you honestly believe all the stuff you posted there is no point.

Couldn't have said it better myself Check D !!

  5. Please forgive me, I am not much of an X's and O's guy.  I know enough about the offensive side and Dline and LBs, but the DB coverages always give me a hard time.  I can tell you what nickel coverage is, but after that it gets cloudy.

    Thanks for the info.

No Prob. There's always time to learn more about it too :)

  6. Blaming the bad goal line play on an inexperienced OC sounds like something from the Bledsoe Excuse Generator.

You're seriously deluded if you think TC made those calls on his own without input from both Wyche and MM, 2 experienced OCs.

So what's the timetable for the maturation of this offense - 2 games, 6 games, 2 years?

    Inquiring minds want to know

Whatever it is I'm sure it will be too long for you B)

  7. I'm not slamming TH here,

TH has good goalline instincts, but I think Willis' are much better.

    On another note...

(didn't see any replays to check BUT) IF Mike Williams was lined up

against Paul F'n Spicer on the goal line, that is a huge mismatch ON PAPER...

If it was Erik Williams in his prime, easy TD over RT.

I agree with you on the running to the right. I was curious why there wasn't more of that in short yardage situations too. Were our TE's getting blown up into the backfield when we ran that way? Or was Stroud blowing up Chris V? I'm not sure, but I do remember alot of penetration from the inside by the JAX DT's ....

  8. I think the bad call was having TH in there running instead of Willis.

Not sure why that was, but if it was to avoid hurting TH's feelings,

    that's really messed up.

TH was in there because he has proven to have just as good instincts for the endzone as McGahee has shown in the ever meaningful Preseason

  9. Helllooooo....

    Patriots :

    1 very good QB

    1 very good DE

    1 very good K

    1 very good CB

    1 good RB

    Bills :

    1 very good WR

    1 very good RB

    2 very good DT's

    1 very good LB

    1 very good P

Not much difference there...Maybe even an edge to Buff

It's not all about star players, it's about team.

Just ask the Saints, who have a large group of "very good" players.

  10. As was most of us actually at the game. I am too tired to rip on the fuggin stupidity on this board tonight. I have come down with some bug as well that had me running a fever last night. Tomorrow though is another story...

You people need to learn about football or find something else to follow.  I will also fill you in on my one on one with tom Donahoe before the game Sunday. YES I talked to him one on one for about 10 min on sunday and have a witness.

    Will yack when feeling better.

:D So where's the story about the conversation with TD?

  11. After watching the endzone play myself , I saw it a little differently. Reese was correct in his approach in that he faced the qb as soon as possible, came across the FRONT of his body and took a swat at the ball, unfortunately resulting in a near miss. Takeo was turned around and didn't get to the spot in time to make a realistic play on the ball. Wire, while facing the ball was BEHIND the receiver and in absolutely no position to make any sort of play on the ball and did nothing contact wise to make any sort of impact on the result. Reese continues to show he is fairly competent at the safety position while Coy (I love the guy but.....) so far has shown zero improvement over his rookie season other than a few moments during the Colts preseason game.

  12. So I know it's fun as fans to read into things and "decode" what we like to call coachspeak, but to me in this situation what Coach MM said about the rational of his decision was REALLY what he thought, and not some sort of spin. A 48 yard FG is long and risky for ANY and ALL Nfl kickers. Your defense is playing lights out to that point, and you have a chance to pin them on or inside the 20 with close to 2 min remaining. As I have said before, it's my opinion that most coaches would have made the same decision under the same circumstances.

What I'm getting to though is that to me a lot of this Lindell bashing has stemmed from the idea that the above mentioned decision showed a lack of confidence by MM in Lindell when in all probability it had very little weight in the overall process. Lindell is indeed at a crossroads in his career right here and now and needs to somehow find consistency, but the decision being referenced by many as evidence of no confidence by the coaches may not be very solid evidence at all in a court of........I don't know.......Coaches.
