  1. MM answered that question on his Radio show. He said that would have been the call if they were backed up another 8 to 10 yards or so from where they were at the time.
  2. Yes, I think he is slightly heavier than listed. But I also think he's faster than he was last year. Certainly not as fast as in college though. He's probably at @ 4.4 right now IMO.
  3. Do it up man. Before making it to camp this year, I had read that he was doing a lot of "Speed training" and assumed myself that he would naturally have lost 5 or 10 lbs due to this. That was not the case. If I had to guess I'd say he's at about 235 lbs right now. I've also heard many of the reporters/announcers mention the same throughout camp and pre-season. Murph, for example always seems to point out that there's no way he's as light as he's listed on the Roster.
  4. He didn't shed weight this past off-season. To me (in camp atleast) he looks to be about 10 lbs heavier than in 2004. His straight line speed looks significantly faster than last year as well. Again, he may not be where he was in college, but he's got plenty of speed to get the job done.
  5. 4.4 is about where he's at as mentioned, and that's faster than either of the 2 best running backs on the NFL's all time rushing list. I'll take it all day. Oh, and I see the definition of "homers" is "all people who disagree with flea17".
  6. Point well made. Cheers to Lindell for making a kick that drastically affected the approach at the end of the game for the Dolphins.
  7. If you have been to any live games, you already know that Willis DOES have most of his speed back from college. Not all mind you, but he's plenty fast. He has a much longer stride than many backs you see in the league. His body type is much like Duece McAllister's.
  8. I live in the Mormon "mecca" AKA Palmyra
  9. There is also a real factor that often comes into play in the NFL where a team matches up against another team well for whatever reason based on player for player. Division rivalries also play into it too. There was a time in the Heyday of the Cowboys where they would lose to the Redskins every year, even when the Skins were a downtrodden team.
  10. I don't buy it. It IS true that every really good D gets a larger portion of their good stats vs. weaker teams. Even the 15-1 85' bears can attest to that, having their worst defensive performance against the best offense they faced that year (Miami). It sounds as if you are saying that all things are equal this year, except the schedule is different which is a very simplistic way of looking at it. Our defense in general is unable to generate pressure with just the front 4, and this has been the case for a while now. This causes an issue in stopping teams on third down. This does not mean though that there will ever be (nor should be) an asterisk placed by their name for their 2004 stats. They were well earned and We were at or near the top in so many categories (Sacks, Turnovers, Yards, Points) that it cannot be ignored (IMO). The defense in 2004 was what it was. This is a new season and some things have changed while some have remained the same. Nobody EARLY last season thought we could even win vs. the Rams and Seahawks let alone beat the crap out of them.
  11. Moulds is not the guy who made this decision. Moulds often speaks for many of his teammates on the team. If Moulds plays well on Sunday and any of you would consider booing him for this, you are not the type of fan that I would want to associate with. That's for sure. Not that you care in the first place
  12. I am the same way. I will always root for and support the team no matter if I agree with all the moves they've made.
  13. You've seriously gotta be figgin kidding , right?
  14. Chances are you're right, but technically speaking.......
  15. This is what I was trying to say last night. Of course it had little to no impact
  16. Exactly. Well said.
  17. Not sure if that was sarcasm, but YES.
  18. Sacrifice an extra W or 2 that still won't factor us into the playoff mix.
  19. A fair number of good points you make there.... To clarify a couple things- If I happened to name the teams in order of who are the current top 6 record-wise, it was purely coincidence. Those are teams that I feel are better than the Bills whether based on talent, experienc, or schedule. While I think KH is a better QB right now than JP, I don't think the difference will be enough to get us into the playoffs. I still think NE wins this division, and no wildcard is going to get in from the East IMO. I'm in strong agreement with you regarding the running game
  20. I don't think KH is a bum at all. In fact I think he'll probably fare quite a bit better than JP would have. Still I don't think with either QB that we are a top 6 AFC team, in fact I know we aren't. For that reason, as with the Giants last year, we should sacrifice now in order to have success down the road.
  21. I'm still going to root for the success of the team, that will never change. With that said, I think this (if true) is a terrible move and agree with JSP about how short-sighted it is. In the Big Picture this year, we are not better than the Colts, Jags, Chiefs, Chargers, Steelers, Bengals, or Patriots no matter who we have at QB. So why not play the kid the entire year and let him figure out the game for god's sake?
  22. I understand what I'm watching, and he's quite good. Again , when he's out there... The last place I look for information is via the media.
