  1. It will be interesting to see what happens w/ Losman once he's on another team. Maybe he'll show people that he's not a quality NFL quarterback. Or maybe, just maybe, he'll prove himself to be as much a "turd" as guys like Bannan and Gilbride. I hope Losman does well elsewhere, just not @ the expense of the Bills. Please.
  2. You forgot Iggles TE Brent Celek, another Bills castoff.
  3. Steve Bischiotti is the owner now, and is one of the classier guys out there. That said, I cannot stand the Ravens and especially their fans, which makes it impossible for me to root for them.

  5. And a very happy new year to you, champ!
  6. Shouldn't the quote read:
  7. Did either Slaton or Forte split carries w/ a back that got an additional 200 carries and ran for 773 yards and 15 TDs? Considering he wasn't hording all the carries, that makes the season Johnson ended up having all the more impressive. He didn't have to whine 'bout the process, but he does have reason to believe he should've won the award.
  8. Uh huh. They were way overmatched last night. Better recruit some DBs that can match up. It's been fun ('cept for last night) watching USC's secondary play over the past couple seasons. They not only have the athleticism to match up w/ teams, but players like Mays last night and Terrell Thomas in seasons prior are as physical as any out there. That secondary has been brutal. Sure wish PENN STATE or the Bills played w/ that kind of tenacity.
  9. 'cause of the money? Next...
  10. You think I'd get rid of one Wilson just to put another one up?
  11. R. Rich buys lottery ticket. Wins $75 billion. Decides to retire immediately. Then.... buys Buffalo Bills buys and renames stadium (any ideas??) fires everyone
  12. You're good to go, Anthony.
  13. The Men of Troy really took it to PENN STATE yesterday. They were clearly the better team and continue to show that the Big 11 can't match up w/ the other majors in the big games. It gets irritating to hear the "I told you so" crowd after yet another crash and burn game, but 'til the Big 11 can man up in these games and shut these folks all up, it's going to continue. I personally cannot wait 'til that time comes and w/ the nature of sports in general, it is going to come. In the meantime, we get to endure the naysayers for @ least another year. Wonderful.
  14. More of the same from yet another disenchanted sports columnist. Too bad it's warranted.
  15. Thanks, Deano. There's actually one that opened up in Westminster MD, which is where we used to live before moving to Hell (Baltimore). I may have to make the half hour or so trip up there.
  16. Figures. Looks like Roy Rogers has gone the way of the Red Barn, another place w/ food I really liked that went out of business.
  17. They need a pass rush, meaning they could use a couple DEs that can bring the heat off the edge plus a couple LBs that can mix it up and bring heat from anywhere on the field. Consistently.
  18. I loved their fried chicken. When I worked @ McDonald's years ago, I would walk over to Roy's for lunch. Is Roy Rogers even still in business? I thought they were all closed. There used to be one 'bout half an hour from me, but now it's become..............an Arby's. Yuck!
  19. I told my wife that I think it's "roast beefe".
  20. The coach......or the oh so clever play on his name?
  21. I can't recall what was more fun: smelling like Tobacco Road or listening to all of the inebriated football scholars on a weekly basis.
  22. Hey, she's the one w/ today and tomorrow off. Her lazy a** can go drive up there and get it.
  23. That has been THE problem for years.
