  1. I'll do you all one better: *R. Rich inherits $75 billion *R. Rich purchases the Buffalo Bills and RICH Stadium *The entire front office staff is fired *The entire coaching staff is fired *R. Rich hires this guy as the team's new Vice President/General Manager *He, in turn, hires this guy to become the new head coach *Free agent signees: DT Gabe Watson (RFA, but we'll deal w/ 'em) C Jason Brown LB Bart Scott OT Donald Penn (another RFA, but worth the $$) DE Chris Canty *Draft: WR Michael Crabtree (just to tick off people, plus I've already addressed the lines, so deal w/ it) TE Chase Coffman G Kraig Urbik WR Jamarko Simmons S Reshard Langford QB Chase Daniel LB Derek Nicholson
  2. Langston Walker @ LEFT tackle??????? Ouch.
  3. Which pass rushers did the Bills pass up in McShay's mock?
  4. Given the right circumstances (cohesion from ownership to management to coaching to players), they could succeed.
  5. It'll get lower.
  6. To each his own, I guess. She's not one I would consider "hot", but my tastes may differ from others. I've seen women in everyday life that are way "hotter" than Nichols or Erin Andrews.
  7. I like Wilson and Reed, but in terms of playmaking ability, I give the edge to Reed. Since Reed is a free safety while Wilson is a strong safety, it's to be expected that Reed would get more scoring opportunities due to his ability to freelance more.
  8. Maybe the Bills will draft Maualuga and then Erin Andrews will realize just how wealthy sexy he is and show up @ every Bills home game.
  9. It will be interesting to see what the new coach in New York will do in regard to their defensive scheme. They actually could run either the 4-3 or the 3-4 w/ their personnel.
  10. Nice comeback by the 'Horns. Still, though I probably would've said it a lot nicer, I find myself in agreement w/ a lot of what Mike Freeman wrote of this game on CBS Sportsline.
  11. Well, we know that the Wall certainly cares. There are times where you wonder if this is a "cheaters" board or a Buffalo Bills board.
  12. Like others have said, I wouldn't mind seeing the Bills have the same degree of success the Colts have had recently. I also think Manning gets too much of a raw deal. A lot of his problem has been that his All Pro, sure fire Hall of Fame wideout Marvin Harrison disappears in the postseason. A grand total of TWO career postseason touchdown receptions, both in the same game? Ridiculous. Yet, all anyone wants to do is crush Manning. Harrison's disparity 'tween regular season and postseason performance is amazing. It's like the difference in Tony Romo's play from September and October to December and January.
  13. I haven't heard anything 'bout Tebow leaving the Gators for the pros. Maybe they mean the Bills plan to tank enough games to get Tebow in 2010.
  14. Easley played 7 years, racked up 32 picks, was voted to 5 Pro Bowls, and, as I mentioned earlier, was the 1984 Defensive Player of the Year. He had to retire after the '87 season due to a kidney disease. He was voted to the NFL's all 1980s team, and but for the kidney problem, he probably would've cemented his bid for the Hall of Fame.
  15. Easley was awesome. For a strong safety to have over 30 career picks in 7 years, that's pretty solid. Plus, 'til Reed won the DPOY back in '04, the last safety to accomplish that feat? Yep, you guessed it: Easley. Imagine how much more he could've done were it not for the kidney disease that cut his career short.
  16. Thanks for the correction. Still, considering the 9 I listed, and the fact that I didn't list Reed, Lynch, Atwater, or others like Jack Christensen, I don't know if I would consider Cherry as one of the 10 best safeties of all time.
  17. Not bad. Cherry was a fierce hitter as well as a sound cover guy. Top 10? Maybe. Lemme see.... Ronnie Lott Paul Krause Kenny Easley Ken Houston Willie Wood Sammy Baugh Larry Wilson Donnie Shell Darren Woodson ......is he as good as, or better than, Steve Atwater, Mel Renfro, or John Lynch? I dunno.
  18. Yeah. She's pretty quick off the edge.
  19. You have a point there. To go even further, w/ our coaching staff, we're probably not much better served getting a guy like LB Rey Maualuga, OT Michael Oher, or any of the top DEs, either. They'd just be wasted on these guys. Sad, but true. I'll say this: ideally, I'd take Crabtree if there's no stud pass rusher or LB available. Of course, ideally, Dick Jauron wouldn't be the head coach and his staff wouldn't be here either.
  20. I've been preaching for quite some time of the Bills' need to upgrade their pass rush and to upgrade @ center and guard. That said, there's no player @ those positions better than Crabtree. If for some strange reason he's there, you don't pass that kind of talent up. Also, I hear that there's more than one round of the NFL Draft. Some teams even scout and evaluate talent to go well into Day 2 of the draft and beyond (undrafted free agents). Of course, w/ our lack of personnel evaluation, I guess you figure we're pretty much limited to a first round pick or nothing. I can definitely see that.
  21. Possible, not likely Should we? Yes Would we? I'm not so sure Another receiving target, and a very good one to boot, is not a bad thing. This becomes a lot easier to accept if there are no stud pass rushers or OLBs available w/ the Bills' top pick.
  22. No Paul Krause???
  23. Hahaha!!! While Waters could deliver a mean hit, his coverage skills were lacking.
  24. Tough one. It's hard to say that he's ahead of Ronnie Lott or even Kenny Easley, who was as complete a package @ S as I've seen. I certainly think he's working his way into the discussion though.
  25. Haha!! Thanks for the correction.
