  1. It was so cute to hear you on the phone w/ her when she called the tailgate spot a couple years back. Awwwwwww! I have no intent on giving up Sunday Ticket. I like being able to watch all the NFL games (how else could I keep tabs on so many players w/out shelling out the bucks @ a sports bar?) and not having to smell like smoke or listen to idiots rant (other than myself) to do so. One other note: $50 @ a sports bar????? We used to go to Damon's back before we bought a house and had the Ticket, and we spent 'bout $70 @ least each time. We bought the Ticket in August of 2001.
  2. Baltimore is just over......um......well, it's here. I could never root for the Ravens though.
  3. Is he as done as Chad Pennington, or "doner"? Oh that's right; you were a cop. Way to crack that case, William.
  4. We'll see. I'm considering club seats, but a lot will depend on what changes in price happens (if any) w/ UB tickets. If they become a lot more pricey, I'll either have to abandon the club idea and keep my seats in 123, or just forgo Bills tickets altogether.
  5. Hypocrisy rules if they don't, either. The Bills have a very short wait list for season tickets. No, no; it's not any of those answers. You need to remember the slogan: Only 3 more years... Amen to that!
  6. Wow. They loved Favre when he was brought over from Green Bay. Now, you're saying the New York fans want him gone 'cause they didn't end up where they exepcted to? It's so unlike 'em.
  7. You beat me to it. Steve doesn't post that often (yeah, I wonder why...), but he has worked in the Bills organization in the past, knows former players, coaches, and execs, and has supported the team faithfully over the years. The guy knows what he's talking 'bout.
  8. You have a valid point. The Rooney family was definitely more patient w/ Cowher than any other owner, or even Steeler fans, were. Of course, when you win 4 Super Bowls in 6 years, your fans tend to get a bit spoiled. That's why they would call for Cowher's head after a 6-10 season and/or set up "fireCowher.com" websites. Yet the Rooneys didn't pay mind to such idiotic banter from their "fans" and instead, stuck w/ the guy even when things looked bad. But, the difference is, their "bad" years weren't anything like the Bills' years. No back to back 2-14 years, followed up w/ a 4-12 (as the Bills did my first few years of high school). Just like the 4 titles spoiled Stiller fans, the years of losing and frustration over missing the playoffs have made Bills fans just as passionate 'bout getting good performance from the coaching staff.
  9. There's gotta be some more worthwhile hobbies out there for you.
  10. It's powerful (160 proof), but I've tasted better. I tried it for the first time when I was stationed in Berlin back in '90. I bought a small bottle, and poured a capful as a shot. That was all it took.
  11. Yeah, but it doesn't read as clever as the "UT players suck" take does.
  12. Great, Gerry. Way to bring back that painful old memory. Psycho Ward 86, myself, and a friend of mine were in attendance when we got to see Terrell Davis get a ridiculous 40 rushing attempts. Meanwhile, Antowain Smith was getting over 6 yards a pop and only got like 18 carries on the day. Still, it was beautiful to see that 55 yard FG from Christie go just over the crossbar to force overtime. That was when I sat in the endzone on the Jumbotron side.
  13. Trade up for Bradford, "if you have to"? Considering he's the Hypeman Trophy winner and could possibly end up w/ a national title to go along w/ it, I'd say it is a safe bet that the Bills would have to move up from the 11th spot to draft him. Which brings us to another point: since we have more pressing issues @ OLB and DE, why the heck would we not only draft a QB early, but trade up and lose valuable players/picks to do so? Seems like a major step backwards for a franchise that needs all the help it can get. If anything, they should trade down to acquire more picks, not lose the ones they have.
  14. He's no sleeper any more. Many people, including the GMs that would (if Houston doesn't re-sign him) line up to bid for his services, know what he's 'bout.
  15. No wine for mead 'til I get more stromboli. Yeah, but it sure made the road trip fun.
  16. Nah. Bucky Brooks.
  17. To finish in 5th place again.
  18. 7 (# of wins each of the last 3 seasons) and 9 (# of years Bills have missed the postseason)
  19. Next year will be my year. I just know it.
