  1. It was a decent effort. I loved the stiffarms he gave and the tough running he did. There is still room for improvement, as his speed is still nowhere near what it was. He's slow out of the backfield. If he were back to form, that run on the goal line would've been a TD easy. Still, he's on the right track and looks to be making an Edgerrin James-like comeback.
  2. Tasker has actually gotten a lot better as a broadcaster. He used to be just awful at it. He does seem to over-compensate with Bills games. No big deal. I know he's still a Bills fan. I'd rather see him improve as a broadcaster than see him kissing the Bills' a** all day.
  3. Good thing we got our only win against them. Otherwise, making fun of them would seem pretty stupid.
  4. I agree, especially in those situations. The first 99 yard play I can remember, the Dorsett run on MNF years ago, was under similar circumstances. Once he got the block he needed, there was no help from the secondary to stop him and he was gone.
  5. I wouldn't say 'dominant', rtconner. Not until we have a pass rush that takes the pressure off the coverage guys and helps to force more turnovers, that is.
  6. I got Kenny's payment the other day. You guys are all set, as you paid for helmetguy and yourself and Mikey also paid me.
  7. Damien Covington was good for a while, before he got hurt (like Kerner). I liked his toughness and his hitting ability. Hey Cindy, that's great you got to see Hull. I really wish I could meet him.
  8. Lindell is a shaky kicker to start, but with the wind the way it was yesterday, there was little to no chance he'd make that kick.
  9. Yeah. Deion is not the issue here. It's Ray Ray you have to concern yourself with.
  10. I don't see Vincent as any huge upgrade at this point. He looks a step slow at CB. Maybe it's time to move him to FS. I am happy that Milloy will return though.
  11. I was at home and didn't think it was close either. It look like the kick just died in midair.
  12. Maybe Josh will get on a roll and start to become a factor in this offense.
  13. They can only get better. A good start, that's for sure.
  14. Exactly. Now, let's hope for another win in Baltimore on Sunday.
  15. You sound like you're from Baltimore. Well, almost. Heroin is their drug of choice here.
  16. True. Price and Tucker did well. LG is still a big problem though. But, their performance yesterday was a step in the right direction.
  17. It's a good thing one win, over a winless team, doesn't have people saying to trade half the team or bench a bunch of players. It's good that we realize that although we got that oh so elusive first win of the year, we still have problems on both sides of the ball. That said, let's go out and get win #2 on Sunday against Baltimore!!
  18. They were okay. They did let Sammy run all over them for most of the first half, but seemed to control him a lot better down the stretch. Third and long is still a major problem due to our lack of a consistent pass rush.
  19. Gale Sayers? 25 or 6 to 4? What's with all this Windy City crap?
  20. Aw, c'mon, Cindy. You can get them to stop on by. BTW, aren't you guys having some sort of booster meeting on Friday? If so, I'd like to go, since I can never make the ones in Buffalo.
  21. Yes you will, Ned. I received your payment and your names will be on the list.
  22. He needs to consult with someone, obviously. Our drafting of linemen has been awful under Donahoe. We can only hope for better things this offseason. Even if we don't make a move and have no first round pick, we can still get a very good interior OL with a 2nd round or even a 3rd round pick. We just have to have better player evaluations, because it seems like we get subpar OL no matter where we draft them.
  23. Sam may be huge, but he's still very effective. Is he a guy who gets the stats? No, but he does do a good job of controlling the interior of the line and he occasionally gets a good enough push to get into the backfield and disrupt plays.
  24. Too bad. You're going to miss all the fun.
