  1. Ewww!
  2. You think it's easier to diagnose plays @ the LOS, anticipate what the player you're covering is going to do and counter it, and be able to read/anticipate audibles is easier?
  3. Good. That's exactly what we want everyone to do. I don't expect them to challenge for a national championship yet, but if their offense can come together w/ the new talent added, they will be a tough team to beat, as the defense is already one of the best in the Big 11 (if not the best).
  4. OSU has had a bumper crop of talent for quite a few years now. I still can't believe they never won a national title when they had players like Orlando Pace, the late Korey Stringer, Eddie George, Shawn Springs, and Joey Galloway all on the same team @ one time. Damn.
  5. Glanville had a feud w/ Chuck Noll also. I remember Noll referring to Glanville as "Gary Grandview" or something like that.
  6. Pedialyte is really good for replacing electrolytes, even more so than Gatorade.
  7. It should be a wake up call to any team in any sport that plays during the hotter months or in hotter climates. Unfortunately, it doesn't stop the heat-related casualties. It has made people more aware, but there's still that built in machismo that will make people 'soldier on', even though they are dangerously close to dehydrating and over-heating themselves.
  8. You're right. Gerry Mulrakey is full of bull.
  9. You have enough folks here doing that.
  10. Soy la persona que le dijo a STFU.
  11. Doleac inspires fear in no one and both Finley and Cyber 'Toine will spend most of their time hanging around the 3 point line.
  12. They open one not too far from me in Hunt Valley on October 2nd. I'll be in New Orleans for the Bills @ Saints game, but I'll be sure to check them out once I get back (probably right after I get back).
  13. It's just over an hour from me. I may make a trip there in the near future.
  14. Very sobering, Joseph, but very true.
  15. Welcome to the Wall. Don't worry 'bout the negativity; everyone has it. The longer you're here, the more you'll realize that. But, most people here are true Bills fans.
  16. Because they want to overpay for crappy stuff?
  17. Again, I appreciate the honesty about that. The other calls were, to me, a bit more cut and dried, but that PI in the end zone and the Jefferson non catch before it were just plain bull****.
  18. You were @ Danny's last year? Did I meet you there? If not, maybe I'll get the chance this year.
  19. Not bad. I mean, @ least you acknowledge that the PI call on Jones and the previous 4th down that Jefferson still did not get were blown calls. I respect your take on the other calls.
  20. The Heat could still use a bit more muscle inside, especially considering Shaq is wearing down due to age and injuries (even though he's still a dominant low post presence).
  21. Great stuff! I'm hoping the left side of the OL can hold up to the pass a bit better than what you saw, but it's nice to know that they seem to be ahead of the curve in run blocking.
  22. McNabb would be my top choice. If he's gone (there's a good chance of that), go after a good scorer, regardless of position. Of course, if your top scoring option is a RB, by all means, take him. My philosophy differs from most people, as I do not go RB crazy and forsake high point scorers for the sake of drafting a RB. I look for scoring first, then for positions. I'll make do w/ average scoring from my RBs if my QB or my WRs are scoring like crazy.
  23. Why look so confused, Puhonix? You mean you've never heard about the All America career Jeffrey Dahmer had as a basketball player @ Duke? What about former Illini small forward and Minneapolis Laker Ed Gein? I won't even go on about the phenomenal hoops career of John Wayne Gacy.
