  1. I knew you were brighter than your posts indicate.
  2. Could you clarify your position on how you think the Bills will fare this year?
  3. Good thing he didn't write "Crazy Train". There's a song you never get tired of.
  4. Melvin Fowler will be a vast upgrade @ center from Trey Teague.
  5. Only the cast and crew.
  6. 100 Days And Counting!!!
  7. Looks like this isn't going to happen. I have another, smaller outing @ my place that's going to happen in August, plus I've been working on the New Year's Eve game here in Baltimore.
  8. Is this the kind of stuff you were talking about, Labatt?
  9. Don't take that tone w/ me, young man.
  10. Speak for yourself.
  11. Who's Michael Irvin?
  12. Having a strong opinion, even if it is contrary to popular opinion, is one thing. Ranting and raving w/ the same old tune is another. It is quite possible to have an opinion many would disagree w/ and still present your side w/out sounding psychotic. Badolbilz has done that for years, and I don't think he's been villified around here. Well, if he doesn't show up w/ those garlic potatoes when I see him @ the next tailgate, he might. Dawgg, next time you think you're getting ganged up on, let me know. Heck, I question Willis' committment too after seeing him skip OTAs not to do a Jerome Bettis/Walter Payton-type workout on his own, but to chill w/ the NFL Total Access crew.
  13. There's a bit of humor mixed in w/ sarcasm in Ramius' post, but it does ring true. This place has gotten bogged down in a mob mentality lately. Everything and everyone sucks according to the mob, and they'll turn their pitchforks and torches on you if you disagree w/ them. That mentality has driven many long time posters away from here, whether they choose to post sparingly or just leave altogether. It's really too bad that people can't agree to disagree on things, it's either "all or nothing; agree w/ me or you're an idiot". I'm sure a lot of this comes from watching our team struggle year after year. I know I wasn't thrilled @ the way the Levy era started, as Marv and Ralph seemed clueless and not on the same page, but I think they're getting on the right track. Whether or not we all agree on the plan they had during the draft, the fact that they HAD a plan was comforting to me. I don't expect this team to transform into a champion overnight, so I realize there will be difficult times. All I hope is that they work toward the end of those times.
  14. Happy birthday! See you @ the tailgate.
  15. Sorry, folks. I've been busy doing other things. I'm planning to do this either later this month or mid July.
  16. Happy birthday to a fellow member of the 1969 club. Have a great day.
  17. I've met so many people from this board that I consider friends, and then there are those who are like family to me. Paul definitely qualified as family for so many reasons. I still can't believe he's gone and will miss him. Rest in peace, Paul.
  18. Wasn't it $6 per person last year?
  19. He's probably good enough to win multiple Hypemans as the ND quarterback. Where's Beano Cook when you need him?
  20. What? Your head?
  21. The Jennifer Connelly of a few years ago was hot. The one who decided to go "Hollywood" and look like a skeleton is a real turn off. Too bad.
  22. Great movie w/ tons of great scenes. I like when Marty Feldman comes back outside just to scare the horses..."Blucher!" I also love the scene where Gene Wilder goes into the room w/ Peter Boyle and instructs Feldman, Teri Garr, and Cloris Leachman not to let him out no matter what he says....then he starts calling for his 'mommy' out of fear.
  23. I still like this one better..... Billy Clanton: Why, it's the drunk piano player. You're so drunk, you can't hit nothin'. In fact, you're probably seeing double. [billy Clanton draws a knife, and Doc Holliday takes out a second gun] Doc Holliday: I have two guns, one for each of ya.
  24. I'd like to thank the following posters for continuing a great tradition of spirited, rational, reasonable discussion here on the Wall:
