  1. On the NFL channel, they do have commercials. I'm not sure on the music channels. The ones I listen to the most are 70s, 80s, Pure Jazz, and Backspin, and I don't recall hearing commercials on those.
  2. Well said, and I agree w/ your view of Hull. He is one of my favorite Bills of all time, as I have mentioned many times before here. Probably? Considering he played in the AFC during the careers of future Hall of Famers Bruce Matthews and Dermontti Dawson and still made 3 Pro Bowls, I'd say he was one of the best in the game @ the time w/out a doubt.
  3. Holier than thou attitude, eh? Jumping to conclusions w/ no facts to back them up, huh? Overreacting to a minor issue, you say? I wonder what username Otto uses on TBD...
  4. Ah yes; memories of the '97 overtime game against Denver.
  5. I don't listen to music that much.
  6. If only you could have Vincent's character and mindset in the body of Sean Taylor, huh?
  7. Geez, Joseph. I know you aren't scarred. You're a lot like me in that respect; you don't discuss matters you don't care about. You just ignore them.
  8. Well, who wouldn't? We suck. All is lost. (repeat ad nauseum)
  9. I knew you were brighter than your posts indicate.
  10. Could you clarify your position on how you think the Bills will fare this year?
  11. Good thing he didn't write "Crazy Train". There's a song you never get tired of.
  12. Melvin Fowler will be a vast upgrade @ center from Trey Teague.
  13. Only the cast and crew.
  14. 100 Days And Counting!!!
  15. Looks like this isn't going to happen. I have another, smaller outing @ my place that's going to happen in August, plus I've been working on the New Year's Eve game here in Baltimore.
  16. Is this the kind of stuff you were talking about, Labatt?
  17. Don't take that tone w/ me, young man.
  18. Speak for yourself.
  19. Who's Michael Irvin?
  20. Having a strong opinion, even if it is contrary to popular opinion, is one thing. Ranting and raving w/ the same old tune is another. It is quite possible to have an opinion many would disagree w/ and still present your side w/out sounding psychotic. Badolbilz has done that for years, and I don't think he's been villified around here. Well, if he doesn't show up w/ those garlic potatoes when I see him @ the next tailgate, he might. Dawgg, next time you think you're getting ganged up on, let me know. Heck, I question Willis' committment too after seeing him skip OTAs not to do a Jerome Bettis/Walter Payton-type workout on his own, but to chill w/ the NFL Total Access crew.
  21. There's a bit of humor mixed in w/ sarcasm in Ramius' post, but it does ring true. This place has gotten bogged down in a mob mentality lately. Everything and everyone sucks according to the mob, and they'll turn their pitchforks and torches on you if you disagree w/ them. That mentality has driven many long time posters away from here, whether they choose to post sparingly or just leave altogether. It's really too bad that people can't agree to disagree on things, it's either "all or nothing; agree w/ me or you're an idiot". I'm sure a lot of this comes from watching our team struggle year after year. I know I wasn't thrilled @ the way the Levy era started, as Marv and Ralph seemed clueless and not on the same page, but I think they're getting on the right track. Whether or not we all agree on the plan they had during the draft, the fact that they HAD a plan was comforting to me. I don't expect this team to transform into a champion overnight, so I realize there will be difficult times. All I hope is that they work toward the end of those times.
