  1. Young's Wonderlic score sucks, even if it is a 16. That makes him way dumber than Hall of Fame DE Mike Mamula (reportedly a 49), but slightly smarter than that dumba** loser QB Donovan McNabb (reportedly a 12).
  2. Hahaha!!!
  3. Well, you're the expert, so if you think so...
  4. It does sound stupid, which means it will be a huge hit until the child that is the American viewing public gets a new shiny toy of a program to run into the ground.
  5. What the heck is that?
  6. What do you think this is.....Jeopardy?
  7. Well, we do need a RT. Let's draft him! He's the answer.
  8. He's not short enough.
  9. AZ will probably be gone somewhere between the 2nd and 3rd round. Some mocks I've seen actually have him going after PENN STATE teammate Anwar Phillips, but I think his ability to probably make the jump to safety in the pros will make him a higher pick than Phillips.
  10. Nice dream, isn't it though?
  11. Why would that make you lose all credibility?
  12. Not a bad choice. I've come around a bit on Justice, so I wouldn't be horribly upset if he were chosen, I suppose. Good athlete who should make the transition to a LT in the pros. McCargo as a nose in a 3-4? I wouldn't want to see it. But, as a compliment to Triplett in a Tampa 2-style 4-3 front, we could do worse. I like Watkins, especially if he could be acquired this late. A steal that would help us where we badly need it. He could be there, and if he is, what a steal! A great athlete, and while he doesn't have the best size, he is a fairly solid run defender also. Nice. Another good interior rusher who did well for himself @ the combine. I think I'd probably look for a 2 gap DT around here though, and if that's the case, I'd go after Jesse Mahelona of Tennessee or Johnny Jolly of Texas A&M. No!!! Some people think he could develop into a solid corner like McGee, I think he's what he is: a great athlete w/ marginal skills @ a number of positions. He may even be gone when this pick is up, but I'd look to draft him later even if I were looking to draft him. I don't see Sims lasting past the 4th round, but if he does, he'd be a good pick here for many of the reasons you mentioned. Boothe, I believe, is more likely to be there and would be a nice late pick. Very raw, but has a wealth of potential. Here's another late round gem. You must be a fan of Marty & Matt's Pro Draft Report site (one of my favorites: they have nailed some really good mid/late round finds lately). Martin looks to be a diamond in the rough. If we are looking for a depth player @ RB, I think Robinson would be a nice late round find. To me, he has a lot more upside there than he does @ WR. I highly doubt he'll be here in the 7th round. I would probably take a flyer on him though if he were.
  13. ......and over and over......
  14. Post about your obsession over and over and over and over.....
  15. I look @ it as another tool to use to measure a player's abilities. I also look @ game tape (gotta love the ESPN Game Plan!), so that I have some idea about what some of these guys can do. In Ngata's case, I've seen about 4 games this year, and he seems to be a pretty solid DT. I don't think he's the greatest DT prospect in a decade nor do I think he's a total bust. Based on what I've seen of him and what I've read about him, I think he's good, but I'd rather see the Bills use the #8 pick elsewhere and get a quailty DT either in the 2nd or w/ the earliest of our 3rd round picks, depending on how the draft plays out.
  16. Way to keep your eye on the prize.
  17. I admit that since his workout I'm more intrigued by him than I was before, but I'm still not sure of drafting him w/ the #8 pick.
  18. Hahaha!!! Oh, and he can dropkick. Don't forget that one. Seriously, I don't think we need to bring in another QB. I don't think Tom Brady "divulged the secret of his power" to Flutie or anything like that. The guy is just a good football player, something we need to concentrate on adding more of to the Bills.
  19. Now, if we had an additional 2nd, that would be sweet. We could take Huff, then get one of the top guards (Lutiu, Jean-Gilles, or Joseph), and then take the best DT available. I wonder if we could move up to another 2nd round pick somehow...
  20. I've mentioned Huff, Davis, Ngata, or even a guy like Tamba Hali or Manny Lawson in a trade down besides the obviously unrealistic ones (Ferguson, Super Mario, Hawk).
  21. A whining moratorium would be more apropriate.
  22. They're just part of the master plan to get the Bills moved to LA. Didn't you know?
  23. Pace is certainly one of the most dominant OL of all. There have been some pretty good ones (living here in Baltimore, the name of the late Jim Parker immediately comes to mind), but I'd put him near the top for sure. As I've said before, he's proof positive that the Hypeman Trophy is a joke. Clearly, Pace was the best player in college football the year he finished 4th in the voting: Danny Wuerffel Florida Sr. QB 2nd Troy Davis Iowa State Jr. RB 3rd Jake Plummer Arizona State Sr. QB 4th Orlando Pace Ohio State Jr. OT 5th Warrick Dunn Florida State Sr. RB 6th Byron Hanspard Texas Tech Jr. RB 7th Darnell Autry Northwestern Jr. RB 8th Peyton Manning Tennessee Jr. QB 9th Marcus Harris Wyoming Sr. WR 10th Beau Morgan Air Force Sr. QB This is nearly as bad a ripoff as giving the Best Picture Oscar to Ordinary People over Raging Bull.
