  1. Yeah, I think that was the year they came back from 3-1 down. I just remember the stadium erupting when Cesar Geronimo struck out, which started the "We Are Family" party.
  2. Dave Parker? Now that takes me back a bit. I remember being @ the last game of the '79 NL Championship, when the Pirates beat Cincy en route to winning the World Series.
  3. Who would want an oreo anyway?
  4. Damned if I know, but Prep is an all boys' school...
  5. I saw an interesting write up about my rival high school, Cathederal Prep (in Erie PA) that I thought I'd share w/ you all. Very interesting indeed...
  6. 170 Days And Counting!!!
  7. Yeah. I still don't have the boom box yet, so I can't listen to it @ work. I only catch the shows while driving to/from work or when I'm on lunch break.
  8. ...because they suck.
  9. My first choice would be to trade down. After that, I'd like to see either Huff or Vernon Davis drafted. Aside from those options, and if we stay @ 8, I guess drafting Ngata isn't so bad, ASSuming one of the other top players (Mario Williams, D'Brickashaw Ferguson, A.J. Hawk) doesn't fall to us.
  10. Nah, but they suck. They're a Buffalo team, so they must suck. Don't believe me? Read any of a number of threads here on TBD.
  11. Agreed. I really liked listening to the "Moving The Chains" show when Shannon Sharpe was on. Tim Ryan is pretty good, too. Did you catch the show the other day when he and Pat Kirwan were talking about the Packer fans? "Gimme a beer, gimme a brat, and gimme a Brett and I'm fine." Classic!
  12. I'm toying w/ the idea of making the trip to Chi town for that one.
  13. Whadda ya got?
  14. I heard that also, but you can't take everything said on the Sirius shows as gospel. They've thrown many theories to the wall, and are looking to see which ones stick.
  15. Good thing for TO's sake that he never played in Buffalo. He'd rue the day his team visited on "Canada Day", when there's plenty of beer and lit cigarettes to throw around.
  16. As serious as I've ever been about this topic.
  17. Oh, but he can. Seriously, I like the guy, and I think he'll be a good player, but he's not a player I see as one who will revolutionalize the position or anything. Considering we got a stud like Ted Washington in free agency and signed an UNDRAFTED Pat Williams before, I just don't see a pressing need to draft Ngata 8th overall, especially when there are other DTs who look very capable of being run stuffers for us that could be had in later rounds. And by later, I don't mean the 6th or 7th round, so those who love to take things to the other extreme can relax.
  18. And Ngata (as it was Mike Nugent before him).
  19. Sidney! What's up, bro? I think I may be up for another trip to the CNJBBB this season. You down?
  20. No! You must draft for need in the first round. Ngata is the 2nd best player in the entire draft after Reggie Bush, and he may even be better than Bush. Heck, he may even be better than Walter Payton.
  21. I'm not a big fan of Justice for those reasons. He could just be a "young and dumb kid" who made a mistake or that could just be insight into his character (or lack thereof). I'm not willing to gamble a first round pick on that. Also not a fan of Dvoracek for similar reasons. I'd go after Babatunde Oshinowo first. No way does Pittman last until the 7th after the combine and the Senior Bowl (where he was a last minute addition and performed quite well).
  22. Must be because the Bills, Sabres, and Buffalo all suck. It's just gotta be.
  23. One of these years, I'm going to make it out there for one of these events. I'm still a bit upset that we missed each other last year (Saints game).
