  1. Agreed. I really liked listening to the "Moving The Chains" show when Shannon Sharpe was on. Tim Ryan is pretty good, too. Did you catch the show the other day when he and Pat Kirwan were talking about the Packer fans? "Gimme a beer, gimme a brat, and gimme a Brett and I'm fine." Classic!
  2. I'm toying w/ the idea of making the trip to Chi town for that one.
  3. Whadda ya got?
  4. I heard that also, but you can't take everything said on the Sirius shows as gospel. They've thrown many theories to the wall, and are looking to see which ones stick.
  5. Good thing for TO's sake that he never played in Buffalo. He'd rue the day his team visited on "Canada Day", when there's plenty of beer and lit cigarettes to throw around.
  6. As serious as I've ever been about this topic.
  7. Oh, but he can. Seriously, I like the guy, and I think he'll be a good player, but he's not a player I see as one who will revolutionalize the position or anything. Considering we got a stud like Ted Washington in free agency and signed an UNDRAFTED Pat Williams before, I just don't see a pressing need to draft Ngata 8th overall, especially when there are other DTs who look very capable of being run stuffers for us that could be had in later rounds. And by later, I don't mean the 6th or 7th round, so those who love to take things to the other extreme can relax.
  8. And Ngata (as it was Mike Nugent before him).
  9. Sidney! What's up, bro? I think I may be up for another trip to the CNJBBB this season. You down?
  10. No! You must draft for need in the first round. Ngata is the 2nd best player in the entire draft after Reggie Bush, and he may even be better than Bush. Heck, he may even be better than Walter Payton.
  11. I'm not a big fan of Justice for those reasons. He could just be a "young and dumb kid" who made a mistake or that could just be insight into his character (or lack thereof). I'm not willing to gamble a first round pick on that. Also not a fan of Dvoracek for similar reasons. I'd go after Babatunde Oshinowo first. No way does Pittman last until the 7th after the combine and the Senior Bowl (where he was a last minute addition and performed quite well).
  12. Must be because the Bills, Sabres, and Buffalo all suck. It's just gotta be.
  13. One of these years, I'm going to make it out there for one of these events. I'm still a bit upset that we missed each other last year (Saints game).
  14. And you prepared so hard for one, too. Such a shame.
  15. I think Lutui has the far bigger upside as a pro. To me, he has yet to play his best football. That's what the Ravens got in Ray Lewis: a guy who was a very good college player, but became a much better pro. I think Lutiu's upside is tremendous and I believe he'll have a better pro career than Joseph. That said, either guy would be a really good pick for Buffalo in the 2nd.
  16. I like being around fellow Bills fans. I do not like being in smoky bars hearing a whole bunch of idiots yelling whatever "thought" pops into their inebriated heads.
  17. Thank goodness for DirecTV: all of the games, none of the smoke and noise.
  18. Good thing for them. They'll need the extra week to prepare for the Bills.
  19. Nah. I wouldn't wait that long to draft a tackle. You wait too long, you end up w/ some UDFA starting for you. Ugh!
  20. I hear this year they've extended the NFL draft beyond the first round.
  21. Even though Scary Movie 4 seems ridiculous, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. I thought the last one was funnier than the 2nd one, though not as funny as the original.
  22. How's the weather out there, LA? Fair, I take it?
  23. Payback would be nice. That's one of the 3 home games I plan to attend this season.
