  1. For those who were in R. Rich's Buffalo Bills League and TBD2 last year: I'm giving last year's entrants a period of time to re-up for another season. After that, it'll be open to anyone who is interested in participating. Last year's league members have until end of the day August 5th to let me know if they will be returning. On August 6th, we'll open it up to anyone who wants to join either or both leagues.
  2. That would be an unwise move for them, William. The tag would mean paying an average of the top 5 salaries on the offensive line, NOT the top 5 @ guard alone. Considering the deal Jones made (4th highest paid tackle in the NFL now) and the huge deal Hutchinson got from Minnesota, they would make Steinbach ridiculously wealthy by tagging him.
  3. That's odd. I think the entire area, not just the paper, has been improved for the past 3 years.
  4. Yeah. Vogler and Devlin were basically on their way out when we picked Davis up.
  5. You have to eat it in the traditional way. Pay no mind to the panda.
  6. REPORT YOUR KEEPERS FOR NEXT SEASON! As of now, 6 teams have reported which players they are keeping. The others have until the end of the day this Friday (07/28/06) to report which players they are keeping. After that, I will decide which players will be kept for the other teams.
  7. I don't know where they're getting that from. Scott Radecic, who also played for the Bills, started in the middle that season and Shane wasn't on the active roster. Unless he was redshirted that year and inactive (lil' help, Lori?), he was not on the team.
  8. Well said. A guy who could (God willing) end up in Canton (yeah, I know it's a long shot, but I can dream) can't really be underrated, can he? Shane played on one national championship team @ Penn State, not two. That said, I agree: he is in no way underrated. I wouldn't say Williams was underrated. He was a rather popular player that many didn't want to see go, because they knew how valuable he was to the team. Underrated? Try John Davis, a Plan B free agent acquisition by the Bills who helped to stabilize the offensive line. Playing w/ Richter, Hull, Ballard, and Wolford relegated him to "the other lineman" role, which is a bit unfair as he was a damn good guard for us.
  9. I chose, "less dancing, more top notch coverage".
  10. I never tire of hearing that.
  11. They say there's a pot bellied van driver out there for everyone.
  12. If only I could make it. Rock, you know what to do.
  13. Maybe we'll see you there. If you can, check out our tailgate @ Hammer's Lot.
  14. Enticing. Can you get a recipe for Chimay as well?
  15. Never saw it. What's so great about it?
  16. I'm still considering trying to brew some of my own, Kenneth.
  17. Sounds interesting.
  18. 65 Days And Counting!!!
  19. She needs to just watch a tape of her own skits to know her writing sucks. I saw Mean Girls (she wrote it and the female Alec Baldwin, Lindsay Lohan, starred in it), and it wasn't horrible, but nothing special. I just don't see where she's this great writer. I know she was the first female head writer they hired and all, but that doesn't make her good.
  20. Yeah. I like living on the edge.
  21. I can't stand them.
  22. Spinach is my favorite food. Boston Market never had real spinach as a side option until recently, so I always got the creamed spinach. Now, I can get both. Never mind on that anyway. I remembered that I actually brought a lunch today, so it's leftover dinner from last night: hamburger helper.
  23. How's it taste m*********r?
