  1. From your sh------- view?
  2. Are we talkin' proud again?
  3. Call me a glutton for punishment, but I really am. For the season, and the chance to tailgate w/ my friends also.
  4. Interesting comment from the man who runs the Buffalo Bills.
  5. Oh yeah, the Sheraton is very close to Sliders and to M&T Bank Stadium, Harv. I'll be contacting the closer hotels to see if I can find a good group rate, which will be very tough considering it's New Year's Eve. But I will try.
  6. The tailgate is already in the planning stages, Harv. I met w/ the owner of Sliders, a bar across the street from Camden Yards and just up the street from M&T Bank Stadium (where we've already had 2 successful tailgates in the past 3 years), and we're set. It'll probably be identical to what we did for the 2004 game, which is: *Buffet that includes wings, burgers, chili, and plenty of sides to go w/ it for $10 per person, and... *Drink specials, which were 2 for 1 Yuengling (Mmmm.........Yuengling!!) and Bud Light (yuck!!) plus rail drinks. As we get closer to the date, I'll post more details.
  7. The good old days. Didn't that use to come on Saturday night @ 7pm, or was it Sunday? I think Wild Kingdom was Sunday and Hee Haw was Saturday.
  8. Ugh! No more Batman and Robin references! That's easily one of the worst films I've ever seen.
  9. Hee hee hee haw haw haw!
  10. I do like Outback's steaks. My wife loves that bloomin' onion crap, too, so it's easy to get her to go there. I also like the Bourbon St steak @ Applebees. They season it very well.
  11. Wow. You didn't like Batman Begins? I loved it. It was just what this dying franchise needed. Ten thousand times better than the atrocious Batman and Robin.
  12. Whatever do you mean, Kelly?
  13. Do they still do the loan applications in the front lobby, so that you can pay for your meal? There's a few locations here, and neither has impressed me to where I'm looking to pay that kind of cash on a recurrent basis. Could be worse, though: they could be Shula's. That place doesn't just do loans, they do refinancing.
  14. Yep. Ever season, when it counts.
  15. You know, I've been saying this for years now.
  16. Not a fan of the Scupper, eh? They've never disappointed me, but I guess it's not for everyone. I haven't been to that place before, but I've heard good things (nice decor, impressive wine list-if that's your thing) and bad things (long waits, poor service, high prices) about them.
  17. Atta way to hit the ground running, Marv!
  18. Two guys who started off slow but picked it up toward the end of the year: Reggie Brown-Philadelphia Mark Clayton-Baltimore Injured last year, but may be worth taking later: Braylon Edwards-Cleveland
  19. Ever since the '94 strike, I've been done w/ MLB, so I have no need to go there for a baseball game. The place I'm really looking forward to going is to the stadium in Erie where the Sea Wolves play. I love minor league ball; much more fun, no prima donnas. They built the stadium about a year or so after I moved to Maryland, and I still haven't seen them play there. I don't usually make trips up to Erie until fall, and by then, the season is over.
  20. You know, in the decade that I've lived here, I have yet to go to a game in Camden Yards. Even my wife has been there before, and she can't stand baseball (went on a company-sponsored trip).
  21. Probably. It's not that hard to find. Good for a sampling of what made the 60s show so much fun, as you get 4 villains for the price of one.
  22. I guess technically that is true, since G&M Restaurant is in Linthicum, which is near BWI-TM. http://www.gandmrestaurant.com/ I really don't like Fells Point that much, other than Admiral Fell's Inn, which is a great place to eat. Too many people on narrow streets w/ traffic buzzing by you.
  23. If the NFL Network had Wilcots, Jaworski, and Shannon Sharpe (he's hilarious on Sirius' Moving The Chains show), Total Access would be much better.
  24. It took 29 minutes for someone to rain on your parade, Snake Oiler? Nice. Let's hope they take even more time off.....say, the next 80 years or so.
  25. That's stupid. They make people pay for one channel? Damn. NFL Network is good during the season, and even right after leading up to the draft, but it sucks between the draft and training camp. RICH Eisen is annoying, as are most of the Total Access hosts. I'd love to see them upgrade to more knowledgeable hosts like Solomon Wilcots. He may not crank out the corny, stale jokes like Eisen, but he sure knows what the heck he's talking about.
