  1. Payback for us jumping up to get Knox last year.
  2. If Baun ain’t gone he’d be just right for Sean.
  3. I say bring him on. If we can’t beat them with Tua, then we don’t deserve it anyway.
  4. Agree entirely. Back in the day, drafts were conducted at light speed compared to today. But big, prime time production numbers require big, prime time commercial sponsors and they have a say in the timeline.
  5. Regarding the format of this draft, I liked it a lot more than the glamour and glitz productions of recent years. Last night harkened back to the drafts back in the day with GMs at tables with telephones and assistants writing names down on a slip of paper and running them up to the main table to be announced. Sometimes simpler is better.
  6. Like I’ve said before, we ignore long snapper at our own peril.
  7. The old axiom on trades holds true: who got the best player in the deal? It will be several years before you can say Minny got the best player, if ever.
  8. Danica likes a challenge.
  9. That speaks to the lack of top end talent in this draft. Not many guys worth trading up for to begin with and everyone else so evenly graded.
  10. I don’t see it. Tua is sober and a committed student of the game where as Johnny football was hammered and didn’t bother showing up for film sessions.
  11. We got the best receiver available with our pick already.
  12. So much for Lombardi’s smokescreens.
  13. Tua rockin that draft suit anyway.
  14. Tells me the Chargers are happy with either Tua or Herbert.
  15. Best player in the draft. Good reason to stay where they are.
  16. $1,064.83 https://www.google.com/search?q=how+much+was+$250+in+1977+worth+today&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-us&client=safari
  17. It’s a logistical nightmare even if city hospitals aren’t overwhelmed. What’s happened to rural hospitals is a disgrace. Welcome to the age of science denial. Combined with the advent of lay people knowing more than the experts, regardless of discipline, it’s a perfect storm for catastrophe.
  18. Shutting down and enacting strict social distancing protocols and protections is the ONLY reason we’ve been able to flatten the curve. Period. An alarming statistic made by Cuomo during one of his recent briefings is that we have 925,000 hospital beds in the US. Total. If we hadn’t enacted the mitigation measures, it would EASILY have been overwhelmed. That’s concerning going forward.
  19. Looks like some business owners in Georgia are siding with the science. Kudos. https://apnews.com/ee38c361b83cf40c8e92f82ab6019565
  20. You might enjoy these insights into Kim’s character and Rhea Seahorn’s performance. Spoiler alert for anyone who hasn’t seen season 5. Holy crap! I just realized that the Zafiro Anejo is the same kind of tequila that Fring poisoned don Eladio with in BB.
  21. I saw the mayor of Sandy Springs talking about if he’d go out and get a haircut and he said he had a “cut and suck” so he’s ok for now. Is that a reference to a flowbie device of some sort? If not, I don’t wanna know.
  22. I use it at least once a week during the run up to the draft when the endless posts about media manipulation, smokescreens, and other subterfuge and chicanery take hold.
