  1. More: Bureaucracy Kills: CA Requires Inspection for Out-of-State Firetrucks Before They Can Help Los Angeles Amy Curtis Of all the insane stories of government mismanagement and negligence this writer's seen coming out of Los Angeles this week, this one might just take the cake. It's not bad enough that Governor Gavin Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass neglected forestry management and water conservation for years, not bad enough Bass cut the fire department budget and jetted off to Ghana while her city burned, and not bad enough Newsom lies to the faces of Californians who have watched their world reduced to ash. On top of all of that, the state has to be a stickler for stupid rules when out-of-state fire departments come to render aid: .
  2. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah. Non-lib media is evil. Lather, rinse, repeat. .
  3. No. This is just another attempt at diversion from your own poor attempts You have no real interest in honest replies. Your history demonstrates no respect for other posters facts, just derision. * I am sure the response to this will be just as shallow. Meanwhile: Liberalism is a mental disease.
  4. Wow ! He is completely out of ideas. Oh well, Back to the Inauguration thread. If what we’re hearing is believed, you might want to buy a neck brace - Trump will be entering the Oval Office at breakneck speed.
  5. I am really amused by his lame attempt at diversion, since the last GOP mayor in LA was over 24 years ago. Let's see, you cannot defend what the dems have done over the past few decades that lead to this, so you try your "elementary school" response. What a surprise. .
  6. LOL. Just can't stop doubling down on his stupidity. I think that Mr. Terrell said it best.
  7. No answer answer about Trump's candidate ? LOL No problem for Frankish. . . . . . . . .. release the Squirrels !! "Maybe they will be diverted by my concentrating on something else" -- TFR
  8. Well. . . . . . . . . . . . . . yes.
  9. Fortunately though, California officials are laser-focused on resolving this crisis. And when I say laser-focused, what I really mean is this: CA Democrat Becomes Sputtering Mess When Asked Why Assembly Is Holding Special Session on Trump As Fires Rage. https://redstate.com/rusty-weiss/2025/01/10/ca-dem-becomes-sputtering-mess-when-asked-why-assembly-is-holding-special-session-on-trump-as-fires-rage-n2184177 .
  10. Now, you'd like to think that would cause the Democrats to do a little re-evaluation to consider how they might change their actions that are being rejected. You'd like to think that. But it's the Democrats, so they never truly re-evaluate their radical policies that harm people. They only re-evaluate how they are trying to message/manipulate you. It tells you something that instead of changing policies, here's their solution for trying to reach you — a video telling you how they're "different" and will "fight" for you. They are so desperate, and it's great. Push play: They're "different"? Really? Many of them have been there for years — for some, it seems like forever. They're mostly the same sad characters who have been part of the swamp forever. I look at them, and largely, I think "weird." They certainly are "different," though — but not in a good way. That's why they weren't getting before the election what it was that people cared about. They thought they could win by just demonizing President Donald Trump. They didn't care about the things that the American people cared about, like the border and inflation. They were in their bubble, and it isn't really about the people, but about holding onto their own control. "We are not here because of who we are against," they say. They then claim they are there to work for "working Americans," "for you." Wait, aren't you the same guys who spent how many years being totally centered around your hatred of Trump? That's been your definition for a long time, and you guys wrapped yourselves in that cloak. That was the whole focus of the Kamala Harris campaign — the "threat to democracy." But Americans wisely didn't believe that. Then, after saying we're not here because of who we are against, they just can't help themselves and attack Trump and Republicans anyway, saying they would "fight" if Trump and Senate Republicans did things that drive up costs. But it was the Democrats who helped drive up costs by voting for more spending under Biden, which helped to drive up inflation. They whip up fear again about Social Security and Medicare despite the GOP not taking any action against them. https://redstate.com/nick-arama/2025/01/10/bring-on-the-mockery-for-this-desperate-video-from-senate-dems-n2184180
  11. Nope. No adult falls for that childish response. Your posts show that you could undoubtably benefit from reading other opinions. Perhaps you could provide PPP with the F.A.S. (Frankie's approved sources)
  12. As is his standard procedure, Frankie tries to cover his previous poor reply by trying to divert to a small portion of the article rather than his missed (Fox) point. I am sure that works on the lesser minds here, but not the adults.
  13. THE TIMES THEY ARE A-CHANGIN’: Apple CEO Tim Cook Donates $1 Million To Trump Inauguration. “Some will point out that Cook is not a Republican, and in fact donates to Democrats. Yes, that’s the point. Big executives used to routinely donate money to a President’s inauguration to curry favor. That Cook, the CEO of one of the largest corporations in the world, one with a granola-crunching lefty reputation to boot, would donate to Orange Cheeto Hitler, is a sign that the fear of being dragged by social justice warriors for daring to deal with Trump is finally dissipating.” https://www.battleswarmblog.com/?p=62331
  14. LOL. Mr Terrell has a long and distinguished career. But the childish amongst us, can only refer to his being a Fox News contributor. Hilarious. (and telling) Leo Terrell is an American civil rights attorney and talk radio host based in Los Angeles, California. On December 4, 1990, Terrell became a member of the State Bar of California. He was the Chairman of the Black-Korean Alliance, an Advisory Board Member for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and a member of the Statewide Commission Against Hate Crimes. Terrell wrote the book Your Rights at the Workplace--The Things Your Boss Won't Tell You in 1998. Terrell became a member of the NAACP in 1990 and did pro bono legal work for the organization. After Terrell expressed support for Carolyn Kuhl, a Los Angeles County judge nominated by President George W. Bush to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit whose nomination was filibustered in the U.S. Senate, he left the NAACP and accused the organization of "bullying" him out Terrell has provided legal and political commentary on TV and radio programs such as Nightline, Larry King Live, Hannity & Colmes, The O'Reilly Factor, Today, Good Morning America, and various radio programs https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leo_Terrell
  15. Thread for January 20th news: Donald Trump will be inaugurated to his second term as president in ten days, and a massive amount of private money has been raised for the ceremony. The event will be paid for privately and not involve taxpayer dollars? That's a good thing, right? Well, not necessarily: God forbid tax dollars not be spent . I suspect I'm not the only one who thinks this story would have been presented differently had it been another candidate... "in a historic first, taxpayer funds will be spared from having to cover the costs of extravagant events mostly accessible only by the wealthy..." https://x.com/alecrogers1968/status/1877717199760105773?
  16. So sad. Even the 'felon' part won't last long, now that Trump can finally appeal.
