  1. There's a similar law in Ohio as well, you can wear one if you want but you don't have to.
  2. If Ralph sells the naming rights then according to the new CBA 60% would go to the players
  3. The Bills site doesn't update on weekends & KFFL gets their information from the teams websites & local newspapers. This isn't a major move so there is no reason to get all up in arms over it.
  4. Here you go Under terms of the NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement, a team losing more or better compensatory free agents than it acquires in a year is eligible to receive compensatory draft picks. The number of picks a team receives equals the net loss of compensatory free agents up to a maximum of four. Three clubs this year (Buffalo, Seattle and Washington) will receive a compensatory pick even though they did not suffer a net loss of compensatory free agents. Under the formula, the compensatory free agents these teams lost were ranked higher than the ones they signed (by a specified point differential based upon salary and performance). Following are the compensatory free agents lost and signed by the clubs that will receive compensatory picks in the 2006 NFL Draft: Baltimore Lost Bennie Anderson, Gary Baxter, Marques Douglas, Edgerton Hartwell, Casey Rabach, Travis Taylor Signed Tommy Polley, Keydrick Vincent Denver Lost Reggie Hayward, Kenoy Kennedy, Donnie Spragan Signed Stephen Alexander, Keith Burns Detroit Lost Stephen Alexander, Stockar McDougle, Mike McMahon Signed Rick DeMulling, Kenoy Kennedy Green Bay Lost Bhawoh Jue, Marco Rivera Signed Adrian Klemm Indianapolis Lost Rick DeMulling New England Lost Joe Andruzzi, Adrian Klemm, David Patten Signed Monty Beisel New York Jets Lost Anthony Becht, Jason Ferguson, LaMont Jordan, Kareem McKenzie Signed Derrick Blaylock, Barry Gardner, Lance Legree Philadelphia Lost Derrick Burgess, Jermane Mayberry, Ike Reese Signed Mike McMahon Pittsburgh Lost Kendrell Bell, Plaxico Burress, Oliver Ross, Keydrick Vincent Signed Cedrick Wilson St. Louis Lost Bryce Fisher, Matt Lehr, Tommy Polley Signed Chris Claiborne Tampa Bay Lost Keith Burns, Cosey Coleman, Chartric Darby, Dwight Smith Signed Anthony Becht Tennessee Lost Andre Dyson, Shad Meier, Antowain Smith http://www.nfl.com/draft/story/9341500
  5. Profootball Weekly had him ranked #3 right after Ngata (1) & Bunkley (2) and they also had Whitner ranked as the #1 safety in the draft. Huff was ranked the #1 CB.
  6. When you pull a gun on someone that's pretty big to me. Why do you think a top 15 player in the draft has fallen out of the first round.
  7. If it wasn't for McCargo's injury he would have been one of the first DL drafted. We filled a big need and hopefully he'll bounce back from that injury.
  8. That would work except for one small thing everyone forgot, 60% of that $14,381,400.00 or $8,628,840 would go to the players as part of the new CBA.

  10. Denver Lost: Reggie Hayward, Kenoy Kennedy, Donnie Spragan Signed: Stephen Alexander, Keith Burns Denver lost 3 signed 2, difference of one which is the 4th round they received.
  11. Ramsey is in the last year of his deal making him an unrestricted free agent next year. They draft Leinart to be the starter next year leaving Ramsey & Pennington to battle it out for starter & backup this year. With Pennington's injury the Jets obviously don't trust that he'll return to preinjury status.
  12. Ramsey is in the last year of his deal making him an unrestricted free agent next year. They draft Leinart to be the starter next year leaving Ramsey & Pennington to battle it out for starter & backup this year.
  13. If this was to happen I'd have to think we would take AJ Hawk. Here me out before you say "we need OL help first". I know we do but the OL talent is so deep we could get a good one in the second round. I believe both London & Posey are both UFA's next year.
  14. According to Clumpy's cap page it will cost us $1,680,750 to keep him if we cut/trade him it will cost us $3.696 Million. That's an additional $2.389 Million to get rid of him. Sorry to dissapoint anyone but JP's not going anywhere this year. Next year is a different story. Clumpy's cap page
  15. This is what I found from an article on ESPN: On Wednesday, either the NFL will come up with a revenue-sharing plan to make the union's proposal work, or free agency will start at 12:01 a.m. Thursday and the labor problems will escalate. Tagliabue made it clear that at this point there is no more negotiating with the union. If the owners accept the proposal before 8 p.m. ET Wednesday, free agency will start at 12:01 a.m. Friday. If there is no acceptance, free agency will start Thursday as scheduled and 2006 will be perhaps the last year in the NFL's history with a salary cap. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/stor...john&id=2358857
  16. Everything was pushed back 3 days. Teams deadline to get under the cap is now 6 PM(I believe) Sun 3/5 and free agency starts at 12:01 AM Mon. 3/6
  17. Cap wise this makes no sense. It'll cost us $1.68 Million to keep him but if we cut or trade him the cap hit goes to $3.696 Million. The figures are from Clumpy's cap page.
  18. Chances are certain players reached incentives, all which would be counted in this years cap not spread out like the past due to a possible capless 2007, plus the use of the franchise tag which is almost $6 million alone. Correct me if I'm wrong Clumpy but the cuts today saved us about $9.1 million plus the possible cut of Moulds.
  19. Here's a something I found from last year about franchise/transition tags. The NFL's best-paid players at each position in 2004, for purposes of calculating franchise and transition designation contract offers. Figures include prorated signing bonus, other bonuses and base salary. The franchise number is the average of the top-five salaries; transition number is the average of the top-10. Cornerback Antoine Winfield, Minn. $12,400,000 Ty Law, N.E. $9,601,365 Samari Rolle, Tenn. $8,313,335 Patrick Surtain, Mia. $7,884,371 Daylon McCutcheon, Cle. $5,883,333 Aaron Glenn, Hou. $5,416,666 Dre' Bly, Det. $5,300,000 Sam Madison, Mia. $5,180,931 Chad Scott, Pitt. $4,785,000 Ronde Barber, T.B. $4,614,000 Franchise $8,816,000 Trans ition $6,938,000 You can tell by the players & salaries alone that this figure is going to drop. Ty Law, Samari Rolle alone both got cut and took a huge pay cut. I also want to say that Winfields salary number get smaller as the contract goes on. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nf...e-players_x.htm
  20. You forgot Wade Phillips, he was fired after the 2000 season.
  21. I think the biggest problems Moulds & Adams had with MM was the fact that neither is used to losing and a bad season across the board finally caused both to snap. Both players are on record as saying that they would love to come back to Buffalo.
  22. #46 looks like she has something falling out.
  23. You're only as good as the players the GM gives you. Everyone here will agree that the two weakest positions on this team are the OL & DL which for some weird reason has been ignored since Marv left. Until we get rid of TD any coach brought in will fail.
  24. This "protest" is being set up by one of the Mods on BBI. He tried the same thing with the bags & signs last week and you all see how well that turned out.
  25. Here's a little something else I have for you. I think it'll help you a lot, it did me even though it was addressed to Mom. Congrats Hi Mom, sorry that I have kept you up all week. I know you are tired and truth be known so am I, but I just felt I needed you. A lot is going on right now with me and I feel so much better when you pick me up, sing to me, rock me, and feed me. I know it doesn't seem like I could be hungry when I cry every 20 minutes and guess what....I'm not, but when you pull me close and try to feed me it feel so nice. I used to be with you all the time in your tummy and sometimes I feel cold and lonely and I just need to feel close to you again. I am sorry that the book on helping me sleep didn't work but I don't feel ready yet, I promise when I am bigger I'll sleep better, maybe even through the night....then again I've heard about that whole potty thing and I bet that might keep me up too. You really are doing a great job mom. I love you. Oh, and don't worry about your milk. It's great! I know at times I confuse you by not eating one day and then eating soooo much the next but its just my mood, sorry to confuse things. I'm sure you know how I feel though, some days I am more hungry than the next but it only takes a day and your milk becomes exactly what I need. Cool hey? I know sometimes I eat a lot, but I'm growing right now, I know the books don't say I should be having a growth spurt right now, but I am not like all other kids, I am special....isn't that what you always tell me? So please, please, pretty please don't get too upset with me. everything is just so overwhelming at times and I need you. You know what??? I have ears, I just found them. I know its only 3am but I wanted to tell you, I am so excited. I know I only woke you up 45 minutes ago to tell you my legs hurt but I am a growing kid and I think just seeing you makes me feel better. You are so pretty mom especially at this hour! I'll make you a deal...if you can be patient with me when I wake up at night ( it'll only last a year or so, and I hear in the big picture a year isn't really that long) and hold me, hug me and feed me my favorite yummy milk, then I'll stop complaining about that stupid mobile you make me stare at for hours at a time. P.S. I am not the only one waking people up...you keep on waking me up to put on that annoying snow suit. No one asked me if I wanted to go out in that crazy weather. Your loving child, and again thanks for being so patient with me I love you sooo very much
