  1. As a new father of a 6 month old baby myself here's some advice I can give you: Trust your instincts – you’re the parent you know what's right and what's not. Don't be afraid to ask for help or advice - If you don't know something don't be afraid to ask, they don't come with manuals it's the biggest on the job training you'll ever go through Last of all...enjoy being a parent; it's the best feeling in the world I personally wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. If you have any questions feel free to ask me, I'll help you the best you can.
  2. I'm in Dayton, OH and this is what I found Going home last night - $2.69.9/Gallon This morning going to work - $2.99.9/Gallon
  3. Quarterback Kevin Thompson and cornerback Lawrence Richardson are expept because of their participation in NFL Europe, so cutting Therrian Fontenot and placed tight end Kevin Everett and cornerback Kevin Thomas on the PUP list means we're done until the final roster cuts.
  4. The only thing I worry about with Clements is this: "I'm the best and I don't settle for nothing less," said Clements, a four-year veteran who's entering the final year of his contract. "It's just like if you're the best at your job, you want to be compensated for being the best at your position." Clements shrugged when informed Denver's Champ Bailey is currently the highest paid cornerback after he signed a seven-year, $63 million contract last year that included an $18 million signing bonus. That's a big hunk of change. Link for rest of the article below http://www.nfl.com/teams/story/BUF/8745477
  5. WKBW has the story confirmed http://www.wkbw.com/Story.aspx?type=ln&NStoryID=5265 RIP Hunter Kelly you'll be missed
  6. The only problem I have with putting the Franchise tag (which is top 5 not top 10 salarys) on him is the huge cap hit. Hopefully it won't come to that though. The Bills could designate Clements as their franchise player after the season and try to sign him to a one-year contract with the average salary of the top 10 highest-paid cornerbacks in the league. The 2005 figure is $8.82 million, but it may be higher next year.
  7. from what I hear Nick looks like another long day at work for you. Stay safe & keep us updated the best you can.
  8. Here's another article on the trade. Key parts are below with link to the whole thing. The problems were solved Monday when Bills president Tom Donahoe announced he traded Henry to the Tennessee Titans for a third-round pick in next year's draft. "We're really glad that it's over," Donahoe said. "Tennessee gave us the best offer and gave us really what we were looking for." Donahoe said the Titans had agreed to the deal in principle last Tuesday and that the NFL had approved the terms of the deal Friday. Donahoe said the Jaguars' interest in Henry was inconsistent. He said the Jaguars backed out of the running on July 11. Donahoe said the Jaguars then renewed their interest the following day, but after the Bills had agreed to the deal in principle with Tennessee. Donahoe said the Bills were adamant in getting at least a third-round pick. "We felt we couldn't live with less than that pick, and if we didn't get that pick, we were prepared to go to training camp with him on the roster," Donahoe said. "Whether he showed up or not, that would be another issue." http://www.titansonline.com/news/newsmain_....php?PRKey=2831

  15. Biggest difference between kicking in college & the NFL is the special kicking ball that the NFL uses, even the great college kickers take a year or 2 to get used to it.
  16. For anyone that cares here is our schedule for next year already: 2005 opponents: Home: Broncos, Chiefs, Dolphins, Jets, Falcons, Panthers, Patriots, Texans Away: Buccaneers, Chargers, Dolphins, Jets, Patriots, Saints, Raiders, Bengals http://www.buffalobills.com/team/20042009Schedule.jsp Also here is a link to a site that has all the NFL teams by division. http://www.johnnyroadtrip.com/sched...future_afce.htm
  17. They must have changed the rules that said that FG's are worth 6 points then. We lost by 5 so what Lindell makes the FG we still lose by 2. Anyone that blames the entire loss on a kicker is stupid. Our run defense couldn't stop a 4th or 5th string RB, that's pathetic. Face it we lost to the best team in the NFL this year, just like 15 other teams.
  18. I believe they were reviewing whether he had control of the ball. If he didn't then it's an incomplete pass. He has to have control of the ball on impact with the ground, that's my understanding. I also believe he had both feet in bounds but I couldn't tell for sure.
