An X-ray does not necessarily me a broken ankle.  An X-ray is a tool to look inside and can see dislocated bones, etc.

I have had more than 10 X-rays on my foot with no broken bones but doctors keep taking them.

Reminds me of episode on M*A*S*H where Hawkeye went loco again because doctors were getting paid to take X-rays.

    His diagnosis more clearly broken.

Enjoy your fine from the league.  Better to have mother, brother, etc say these things for you.

They're really whining about the refs?  I didn't think the refs played much of a factor yesterday at all except for on the two fumble rulings, and I think they eventually got them both right.  Is he just whining about the borderline non-call on the Dane play when they were already basically out of it?

What irks me, is that he doesn't seem to play with any intensity. And he was a leader in the past, not just a star player, but a leader that set an example.

I don't believe he trusts the knee yet.  Effort has never been a problem with Von throughout his career.

He showed some flashes late in the game yesterday.  Let's just cross our fingers that he takes a big leap in the next couple of weeks and can provide us with a little juice if we make it to the SB.

Yesterday, after watching the block and the shank, and then also thinking back to the misses vs the Giants and Eagles earlier in the season, my knee jerk reaction was that Bass seriously needed to be replaced, maybe as soon as this week.  But, for the most part, this is another case where perception does not equal reality; at least as far as how his performance this season stacks up against his historical averages.  He's having a slightly down year, but if you look at his percentages they are not far off his career averages.  And this season is actually tied with his best on 50+ yard attempts (4/6).  One thing bringing his overall FG% down is the lack of attempts from 20-29 yards, which is really due to us being such a superb red zone team.  In 2021, his career year at 87%, he hit 15/15 inside 30 yards.  This year he's only attempted four field goals in this range (4/4). https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BassTy00.htm

Still, yes, he does "look" shakier, but maybe that's a bit of projection on our part due to recency bias.
