2 nights ago it was 35 degrees at 9:00. This type of cold in January happens but it's unusual. -

If they are selling then someone is buying -
Get your snowblowers gassed up and tuned up for Monday if you're in WNY. If you can't start it drain last year's gas and add fresh. Check the oil. Get it ready to roll so Monday you can just clear the snow. By the time that's done it'll be time to prep some food for the Bengals game as a nice warmup.

Good for ACLS too... Dirt and grass give but turf doesn't. I feel like this was reported somewhere else before, bit more as a rumor. -
Questions Surrounding a New Stadium in OP .

Makes sense, because the longer the overhang the more pressure is put on the supports, since they're only supported on one side -

The NFL championship game was played the last few days of December going back to the late 1950's "the Greatest game ever played" NFL Championship game between the Giants and Colts was played on December 28, 1958. The "Ice Bowl" was played December 31 and it was -13 degrees in Green Bay. Not as late as games are now, but certainly not fall weather. So for the past 65+years winter weather has been a part of pro football. -
I think that's it. Bill is usually right and he actually is pretty witty. Guys from his coaching tree just seem straight up mean.

From the sound of it, Flores, like a lot of guys from the Belichick barren coaching tree, can't seem to figure out the mix. Belichick isn't really overtly nasty, rude or a jerk to his players any more than any other coach. Sure, he's gruff and grumpy and short sometimes, but he doesn't act like a total ass the way a lot of his assistants who get jobs as HC seem to. IMO they are trying to imitate him and in doing so go overboard. With Bill, it's work, followed by work, with some more work. No time for goofing around, laughing, or feeling joy. But you don't hear stories about him disparaging players. Mostly guys complain that nothing is ever good enough in NE for Bill and his staff.

I've noticed that you can tell who Audacy thinks is listening by the person who does the "an Audacy station" thing every top and bottom of the hour. On that note, the girl on WGR sounds like she's annoyed to say it and only recorded her part to shut the company up after being told "come on... say it! say it! Aren't you going to say it? It's just 3 words..."

Texans might want Flores, but why would he want to go there? UNLESS Watson agrees to play there (assuming he can) due to Flores coming in.

Does every coach with a bunch of wins and a ring deserve to be in the HOF? Reid and Belichick are locks. They could be #1 and #2 overall in HC wins all-time when they retire. Tomlin I could certainly see. 1 ring and another appearance. Never a losing season. By the time he calls it quits he'll be a HOFer I think. But Payton and Carroll? Both great coaches but Payton has had a lot more sustained success. Carroll really had a great handful of years early with Seattle and has been mediocre to decent ever since. That's not HOF worthy, IMO. Sean Payton has a much better chance because he's still pretty young and will probably do a lot more winning.

I mocked the hire when it happened, but actually I think he did a pretty good job and the Texans were a tough out down the stretch. Sort of like the Lions in that the record might not be great but the roster is not that talented but they fight hard and showed some promise.

It's a compelling offer! I'll get back to you by Monday... I love Joe Burrow. Dude is fun to watch and I love the swagger! It definitely would be, especially if there were plenty of closeups of Brady's angry face on the sidelines, a thrown tablet, and some hushed tones about "maybe this is it for Brady after this humiliating beatdown... you hate to see it, Al" That kind of stuff!

can NFL stadiums have a sort of dugout or covered area that could be somewhat heated with those outdoor deck heaters for players on the sidelines? Maybe just the home side? I'm sure there's a rule against it or it would have been done already.
