As an independent, honestly who care who’s on the major party tickets? I’ve yet to ever vote for one so it’s irrelevant to me. it should also be irrelevant to the right in Kamala “committed a coup” to get on the ticket, just like a convicted felon shouldn’t on the ticket. You’re all bootlicking these people and it’s truly sad. Talk to a neighbor or something instead of engaging with this garbage.

Keep religion out of politics…when the right learns that their social issues are what kills them maybe they’ll wake up and tell the religious nuts to hit the road… but they won’t, those Jesus dollars are too plentiful. religion is a plague for those that are weak-willed.

Well…this went as expected. Couple people engage with ideas and then just “what abouts” and conspiracies from both sides. Let’s not act like that wasn’t a once in a generation event that happened. Plenty of remote opportunities (phone banking, local event recruitment, etc)! Also, don’t be scared to show your pride for your candidate, no matter what side! We’re still in an era where political violence amongst the general population is still fairly low (unless I’m forgetting some recent incident, let me know).

Both campaigns have open volunteer opps in WNY and beyond right now. lots of people on here seem to be political keyboard warriors, haven’t seen any calls for assembly, action, or local organization from a single person on here. go support your candidate in a meaningful way, get involved and talk to real people.

I choose to not engage in that level of politics, thus why I try my best to ignore. Engaging on a local/state level is much more rewarding, it’s just sad seeing so many people here seem to thrive off that level of hatred/vitriol/propaganda from both sides. People need to go touch grass and talk to their neighbors.

it’s just dumb seeing all the mud slinging and reposts here…nothing is put into context intelligently by anyone. It’s all “omg look at this insanity” then a repost from Twitter with no context, created by a partisan account. its shocking how little people here are connected to the policy issues and would rather engage in the WWE-style identity politics. Seems quite childish for everyone involved.
