Did he get taller? -
Don’t shoot the messenger, I just got a tip for 4:00 today.

Ross Tucker Says We're Likely Signing McCarron

She's attractive, BUT she does wear tons of makeup. -Just sayin' -

Subliminal messaging... He's trying to get us all in a bar, watching TV, by 4pm this afternoon. -
Up or Down, It was the desperation of buddy's move in '13 that was a bad idea. Beane is up against a wall to deliver a Franchise QB, so he's going to pull the trigger no matter what. I say go DT and LB... Solid draft picks available, and a coaching staff who's defensive background could develop those types of players.

Veteran QB: It all comes down to FOLES / MCCARRON!
#34fan replied to IgotBILLStopay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd be shocked if they had the stones to go grab Foles.... I'm thinking McCarron will be on our roster by Friday. -
Dear Brian Daboll, -Do you stink as an OC?
#34fan replied to #34fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nice try, but you don't eat crow for asking questions, or being suspicious. Daboll better have his sh_t together... Because once the season starts, it won't take long to figure who and what he is. -
Not crazy about it either... Star's an OK run-stuffer, but that's about it... Da'ron Payne could be that A. Donald-type pocket collapsing force up the middle.. Hope we don't blow an opportunity to get younger, and stronger at DT in this draft.

When I started beating the drum for Rex and Rob's head, I got the same flack... "Give them a chance!" "He hasn't even unpacked yet!"... Blah, blah.... Given the results of his past coaching efforts, plus our past experiences with OC's, I think I posed a fair question. Let's hope that shiny new 1st round QB you guys want isn't destroyed by yet another inept coordinator. -

So the only teams he was able to do ANYTHING with... were the #1 ranked college team, and the pro team with arguably the greatest QB of all time??? As a pro OC, he never goy ANYWHERE NEAR the top 25 offenses in the league?!! The 2017 Texans were ranked 17th despite having no OC, only winning 4 games, -and only having a real QB for six. -

Oh, give it a f___ing rest.... 12-year NFL vet Shannon Sharpe echoed my sentiment on Undisputed the other day... Saying: " Do coaches not want to do any work?!" -That was in reference to the class of 2018 -Specifically, Lamar Jackson... (I'm trying to find the clip) But no, It's not Naïve to expect every college QB to enter the NFL ready to start day 1, -It's F___ing DENSE... As a coordinator in the NFL , you have got to be able to teach SOMETHING... Of course you need talent, but you also need to provide useful technical knowledge and instruction to young players. So they can DEVELOP... -Something we haven't' helped a young QB do in 25 years. -

Look, If you suck, I don't even want your sh-t unpacked... I'm just asking the new OC what he's really about in my own #34fan way. All these threads about which QB we take, and how high we take them are POINTLESS if Daboll can't play the gig... TRUTH: I can burn a little bit... Not bragging, but you probably wouldn't regret a meal that I prepared.... To answer your question, I wouldn't even TRY to work with something like that. I cannot think of one Bills OC in the last decade that was handed a dog-crap offense and asked to produce a winner. We simply have not been that devoid of talent. -

I see what you did there. In this circumstance, I'm not sure I hand the guy a Rd 1 pick that I'll be making payments on for a while.... Maybe you get the guy Foles, or McCarron and see what he can make.. -

Is there no responsibility on the part of coaches to make the QB good? -Or, at least BETTER? -What's the point of a coach, if not to improve performance? -

There are about 85 threads asking whether or not the Bills move up for a QB... -Follow those if you want. I can assure you than NONE of that matters if the next OC is as bad as the last two. -

Say the bills draft the next Peyton Manning... Is Daboll smart enough to seek the next Reggie Wayne, Edgerrin James, Dallas Clark, and Marvin Harrison? An OC has GOT to be good at putting pieces together... I think the interview process should START with one of those 1000 piece puzzles. -

They basically trampled their opponents... The 2nd string QB threw 2 pretty balls in an NC game, and Daboll was suddenly a genius. -
I never suggested we toss this guy the keys to the safe... I just don' see what disqualifies him from getting an opportunity to start somewhere? You haven't explained why someone with zero experience is automatically better than AJ McCarron.

I, for one, would appreciate full disclosure on your limitations up front . Chan Gailey, Greg Roman, Nat Hackett all failed miserably. -Why? -Please see the tags that I've re-purposed above… I, along with everyone else know you come from a dominant NE offense, won superbowls with them, -blah, blah, blah... let's be clear on one thing... -The offensive coordinator of the NE Patriots IS Tom Brady... He’s the guy that made it work for all you freeloaders. You can’t do light, easy, work in places like Tuscaloosa, and Foxboro, then come here demanding respect right off the bat… This job will be harder. - And you haven’t done NEARLY as well in places that challenged you. As the QB coach of the 2007 Jets, you were party to an abyssmal 4-12 season, that fielded a 25th ranked offense… As OC of the 2009 Browns, you achieved a 5-11 season with a 29th ranked offense... You sucked again for the 2012 KC Chiefs… Guiding them to a 2-14 season and a 32nd ranked offense! So, what gives??? Please don’t waste our time if you can’t really pull this off… Go back to the college ranks and hide your incompetence behind some SEC superpower. No, I'm not the one paying you.. Still, the thought of another sideline pretender in a Bills polo STEALING in broad daylight makes me ill... So, to borrow a page from your old boss's book: DO YOUR JOB. -Or, simply walk away and return to a much easier professional life. Love and kisses, #34fan
