Part of a coach's success is there ability to make their players buy in and believe they can achieve more that what is expected. Why would you want a coach that portrays an attitude of "we can't"....that doesn't make any sense.

Whether we like it or not we will be starting a rookie QB. Even though the QB draft class is week most of them will win the job as our starter. Kolb is not our starter.

A lot of offensive players weren't used properly in Chan's offense. We need a #2 WR and while Brad may not be that he still has a skill set that can be affective if used properly. If the plan is to use him the way Chan used him I'd say it's not worth the money....but if the new staff has some ideas to get him involved then we might see an upside.

Geno will be gone by the 2nd pick....If Jacksonville doesn't take him then someone will be trading up.

Living in New England I have been dealing with New England fans my whole life. It's aweful. There are plenty of die hard New England fans, but there is an incredible amount of NE fans that are blind to anything beyond NE sports. No matter who any NE team picks up every fan thinks that this guy is going to put them over the edge. They are so ignorant to the reality of the sports themselves. Obviously not all of them but there is an over abundance of ingnorant sports fans in NE. Being in NE for so long I've come to the realization that I hate patriots fans the most because they love to be hated. When they win they enjoy it more because they think everyone hates them and when they lose they just talk about all the "HATERS". So as far as I can see the fans always win cause win or lose I still hate the pats!!!!!!!!

I agree. With Mario we can move around and show both 3 man and 4 man fronts. It would be a little upsetting if we had been drafting LB's built for a 4-3 but fortunately our LB's are built for NCAA Division 3 football. Our current talent should translate well for what he is accustom too. And could he make Gilmore the shut down corner we want him to be?

I'm right there with you. Although people may call Lovie out on his underachieving offenses, they did a lot with Forte and we have 2 capable backs. The ceiling of what Lovie may be able to do with our D is greater than any other option we have at HC. Everyone else is more of a risk. Let's at least get the D straightened out. Lovie actually has a positive win percentage in the NFL. When was the last time we had a HC with that?!?!

You hit it right on the head. CJ is an every down back and so is freddy. CJ is more dynamic so he should touch it more than Fred. And all the talk of a dual backfield never got established. They just took carries from away from each other.

We played the Texans and the Pats after the bye. Those are the worst offenses in the league?!?!?!?! Week 1 the Jets shredded us and they are the aweful. D is obviously playing better.

I think that since we've drafted so many bums... this year we should take our draft board and flip it upside down and draft that way. And when Chan thinks he should pass he should just run and when he thinks we should run he should just pass. If we do everything opposite the results should be opposite. GO BILLS!!!

To call Gilmore a "World Class Bust" you are out of your mind and a complete dick. The defense is playing awful and there is only so much a single rookie cornerback can do. You can't expect a rookie corner to be pullin picks down when opposing QB's have 7 seconds to throw the ball. Give the rookie a year or two. Or do your self a favor and watch a football game or two. This thread should be ended. Is there really anyone that would put up worse numbers than williams has so far. No. He got beat more than anyone else so far this season. But blame goes on the D as a whole. It's not like we're looking good without him.

Gilmore was supposed to back off. He had no help over the top. Error on the defensive play call not Gilmore.

Not that I dislike Chan. But I get the feel that Chan is a chess player. It isn't exactly a bad thing and I know our defense is non present......but.....I would rather have an emotional coach than a strategic choach. Football isn't just about x's and o's it's also about heart. I feel like Chan has the X's and O's down OFFENSIVELY!!!! But where is our heart?!?!?! Someone needs to lead this team emotionally and no one is willing to step up to the plate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even Fitzy is an X's and O's guy. No one plays with a sense of ergency on the entire team!!!! I feel like no one ever steps up!!!! A coach with heart gets players to step up but an X's and O's guy just gets guys to go through the motions.

I wasn't saying anything about cheering after a bad play....just to be encouraging and supportive. We obviously aren't excited about a bad play but boos from your home crowd only adds to the frustration for the players. And Jim Kelly was a completely different entity than Fitz.

He definitely missed some throws but he didn't turn the ball over. He didn't have a great game or anything but my point is that fans should be extended teammates...we all want the same thing. A teammate that kicks another teammate while he's down is just a bad teammate.

Living in New England I don't get to Ralph Wilson stadium often but made the trip for opening day. I always have a great experience and love being with my fellow die hard Bills fans. I had an amazing time at the game and loved every second of the beating we handed the Chiefs. But there was one thing that upset me....... In the first quarter Fitz missed an open man on an out route. It was a definite miss and it was a drive stopper as it was on third down. Then Boo's came from the crowd. It really pissed me off. I thought as Bills fans we were better than that. It was the beginning of the game and it ended up being a game that CJ spiller went OFF for the second week in a row. I understand Fitz may not look like he has polished up the way we expected with the off season. But he's still our quarterback. We don't sign the contracts and we aren't on the practice field. Fitzy is our quarterback and we owe him our support. As Bills fans I thought we ride and die together. Booing your own team feels like a Jets thing....Not a Bills thing....Fitz is a hard worker and deserves the support of the fans. When a Bills player is on the sideline and frustrated it's our job in the stadium to pick them up not put them down....... GO BILLS!!!!!!
