The positives of Kolb's play last night
aussiebills replied to Bangarang's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kolb had time in the pocket and was always throwing behind or in front of the receivers -
What Free Agents Would You Look At?
aussiebills replied to Rob's House's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i think we have resign Byrd and Levitre and then focus all the !@#$ing resources on hitting on that first round pick making sure that we either get a linebacker that will be a vital cog for years to come or a premium WR that will make plays and really take some pressure off CJ, SJ and FJ. Then throw the remaining money at what ever we didnt get with our 1st rounder then try to get Wilson in the 2nd or if he isnt there then take Nassib in the 3rd -
Markus Wheaton - WR - Oregon

The more i read on Patterson the more i like i openly stated on this forum on another topic that there was at least 2 WR's better then him (Allen and Williams) but i take that back Patterson is easily the best WR in the draft and a will be a premium #1 receiver in the league for many years to come -

I wouldnt mind Manny Lawson but we cant play around this year if we want to sign a WR or a TE then go after the best available -
Markus Wheaton - WR - Oregon
aussiebills replied to aussiebills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He isnt fantastic with his blocking, gets overpowered regularly needs to add weight to his frame during the offseason -
I highly doubt Patterson's ceiling can be as high as Williams' i am certain he still has some development i believe he needs to be our pick and i would be open to Keenan Allen with our first but would rather us take LB with our first then possible trade back into the first for Williams obviously losing our 2nd round pick to do that then with our third take best QB available

No talk between Bills and Byrd / Levitre
aussiebills replied to BeastMode54's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wouldnt blame them if they did left, but i would love to keep one if not both of them -
Earlier i did an analysis on Markus Wheaton a potential 3rd round selection of our Bills, this analysis will be on Terrance Williams. Terrance Williams (6'1 190lbs) unanimous All-American, Biletnikoff Award finalist in 2011 and 2012 and All Big 12 First Team WR. Draft tek have him ranked 40 on the big board and 2nd behind Allen in WR's. Williams was a three year starter at Baylor and was RG3's favourite target in his senior year along with Kendall Wright. Williams has premium can create separation just using his speed, he routinely ran by DB's in college and regularly pulled off the big plays. He loves to comeback to the ball off hitchs and comeback routes and uses his vertical leap to go up and get some balls. Doesn't mind going across the middle. When the QB is flushed out of the pocket Williams will continue to move and make himself available for him. Williams drew a ridiculous amount of holding and PI due to his ability to run pass DB's and he has a fantastic stutter step and double move. Which can really fake out a DB. Williams route running is sloppy over the middle however he sometimes drops off in that area and although he makes most of the catches he should, he has dropped a few you would expect him to catch. He is also rather weak when comes to fighting off contact at the LOS. This guy is a premium WR should be going in the mid-late 1st if he somehow falls to us in the second its a no-brainer a must select.

What would you say was our biggest need in the draft
aussiebills replied to aussiebills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
By impact LB do you mean a 3 down guy who can do it all or like a pass rusher coming off the edge -
Markus Wheaton - WR - Oregon
aussiebills replied to aussiebills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can see why you like Bailey great hands great numbers as well. Doesnt get injured and is a good route runner. Now im fine with Graham i do like him. BUT I dont want to be taking just Johnson, Jones, Nelson and Graham into a gruelling season. One each of them has missed time with injuries except Graham and we need more depth than that. This is why we spend a 2nd rounder or 3rd rounder on Bailey or Wheaton and then our WR core steps up a notch -

aussiebills replied to aussiebills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah its a tough draft there seems to be a lot of QB's in 2-5 Barkley, Nassib, Bray, Dysert, Manuel etc. but not a lot in the 1st. But it lloks to be very defensive heavy in the 1st -
Markus Wheaton - WR - Oregon
aussiebills replied to aussiebills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
OK fair enough but TJ Graham can only really make separation through his speed (NFL DB's are quicker then College DB's) so he doesnt get as much separation then Wheaton will with his sharp route runner and speed in combination -
Markus Wheaton - WR - Oregon

The thing with Graham is that he isn't biggest enough to make a contested catch while Wheaton is. -

Theres the 100 meter video it shows the scoreboard with the times after the race -
Obviously WR is a need in the draft not out biggest need but it is still a substantial need. Markus Wheaton was an All-Pac 12 First Team Wide out Below are his receiving stats through his four years at Oregon State. Receiving G Rec Yards Yds/Rec Long TD Yds/G 2009 12 8 89 11.1 25 0 7.4 2010 12 55 675 12.3 48 4 56.3 2011 12 73 986 13.5 69 1 82.2 2012 13 91 1244 13.7 51 11 95.7 Wheaton was also used on Jet Sweeps, Fly sweeps and End arounds. Drafttek has Wheaton ranked 101 on there big board, and had San Francisco taking him with their 3rd Round selection (was put down as a -7 reach). Wheaton is quick enough to spread the field vertically, and big enough to make catches down the field. Taller then Donald Jones but lighter then Stevie Johnson. He creates good separation from defenders with his route runner and speed. Senior bowl reports have also noted that he has strong hands coming through traffic. The negatives are that the Oregon State Offense was pretty much built for him and around him so most likely he had some inflated stats and of course we don't have a QB who can get him the ball deep. He was considered one of the standout WR's at the senior bowl and his stock has risen quite dramatically. If his stock continues to rise or if his stock stays where it is then he could defiantly be an option at our 3rd round pick. He could compliment Stevie Johnson, Nelson, Jones and Graham all in different ways. His Senior Bowl stats were 4 for 47 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-RkS8riVX0 Also let me know if there is any other players you would like me to do something similar on.

To be honest i want McCarron or Barkley the others are system QB's or running QB's unless we draft Klein then go to a two QB system
-
So we are up by 5 after SJ's TD, if we had gone for 2 and got it we are up by 7. If we dont get it then the game plays out the same and we still lose. That was mistake number one. The other was Fitz throwing the ball on 3rd and 7, run the ball make them burn another time out and if we dont get the first down then a punt would have given them worse field position other than their 48. All this **** last week about trusting the D if he trusted the D we would have ran the ball then just punt it to them.

Let's say the Bills beat the Niners

Until we win back to back games against reasonable opponents my perception will not change -
I'm more talking about his returning skills, he had one kick return back to the 30 (34 yard return). His 2 punt returns averaged 26 with a long of 33.

He has always had those capabilities if his athletic ability translated into football ability
