  1. We are not the Dallas Cowboys or Washington Redskins to be loaded with extra money. We are a small market team and cannot simply throw money at everything. The Bills already spent significant cash in getting Mario Williams.
  2. Got to agree with you on this one. The reason Moorman as cut because he was getting lousy in pinning the opponents inside their 20 or not shanking punts.
  3. But extremely good at earning $47 Million from three teams in five years., Just don't know if all those concussions were worth the 47M.
  4. Because they could only carry three QBs and it wouldn't make sense to pay 3M each to your 2nd and 3rd stringers...The problem is that everyone expected Tuel to come in and put some magic in...That Cleveland browns defense was playing pretty well against the pass and it was going to be impossible for Tuel to win. What I don't like is that the Bills insistence to back up Tuel with more inexperience. I would have preferred a Leftwich or Dixon to back Tuel up so that they can get ready faster. Pat White has ZERO NFL experience.
  5. Pat White is not the answer. He has done nothing in the NFL. I would have preferred them to have signed Dixon or Leftwich. They have at least played in the NFL. Also, where is Jason Campbell ? This really sucks.
  6. Today, it was Punt coverage team that sucked.
  7. If that is the case (which I find it hard to believe), then the blame lies on Marrone for not having an effective back up if Tuel would be unprepared. Either way the blame lies on Marrone and Hackett, because they either did not find a good backup or did not prepare Tuel to be able to step in if EJ went out with an injury. This game was winnable, if we had a decent QB playing in the 4th Qtr. this... I just don't know why this coaching staff went away from something that was working well last week.
  8. I guess the DE in kansas City will get it, because he has 7.5 Sacks.
  9. 2nd Qtr: 10:20 - 3rd and 8 @ Cleveland 28 - 19 Yard Completion to Jordan Cameron 9:13 - 3rd and 4 @ BUF 47 - 8 yard completion to Greg Little Resulted in a 1 yard TD for McGahee after a 8 minute Drive sucking up the defense. 3rd Qtr; 1:27 3rd and 6 at Buf 28 - McGahee rushes for 16 yards. Resulted in a FG 4th Qtr: 5:08 3rd and 18 at CLE 35 - 18 Yard Completion to Gordon. Resulted in FG and took another 3 minutes of the clock. Plus they would have punted from Cleveland 35 ahead by only 3 points. And then on a 1st and 25, they give up a 37 yard TD. The Browns deserved to win because they made MORE plays than the Bills
  10. Wrong. Coach Marrone preaches that every one *must* prepare every week to play as a starter as they never know when their number will be called. Tuel failed, because he was unprepared.
  11. The failure to win this game goes on Tuel. He should have been prepared to take over. He had a full pre-season to play. It showed how poorly he was prepared for this game. Also, Nate did him no favors.
  12. They were horrible on 3rd downs....They were giving up 1st downs on 3rd and Looooooong all day....
  13. May be they (Bucs) don't care about a trade; but are more interested in *killing* Freeman's NFL Career.
  14. As long as the Pouncey brothers (I know the one in Pittsburgh is done for the year) are around, there is no chance for Eric Wood
  15. That (running 55 times) has been an exception rather than the norm.
  16. No. Merriman was done as a football player.
  17. A guy who throws for 3000+ yards in consecutive seasons is an above average QB. However, that does not always translate to victories, when he also throws a whole lot of INTs. I don't think comparing his potential success to his failure in Buffalo would be a good comparison. These are two different teams with different type of coaching staff. Why is Pettine's defense relevant here. Fitz failed to rally the team and would thrown game ending INTs at inopportune times.
  18. And possibly AFC Defensive player of the month, though he would have competition with the DE from the Chiefs.
  19. \ We simply have to bring pressure on Hoyer like we did on everyone except Geno. If we pressure the QB, everything else is moot.
  20. And their QB has had a hot hand for the past two games...May be he will struggle tonight against us.
  21. With the speed we have on this team, you would think the ST coach would be able to figure out a better return yardage on Punts. Agreed that the Bills have faced some really good kickers who have kicked pretty much touch backs against us.
  22. OP was talking about lack of product in the last decade, not just for one year.
  23. And that will always happen (injuries) and the Patriots and Ravens have the way of adjusting in the 2nd half of the season and finding ways to dominate games. Heck, the Patriots with all their weak links are 4-0, the same record as the Denver Broncos.
  24. The Special Teams coaching has been a head scratcher for the first quarter of the season. May be Marrone erred in hiring his buddy to be his ST coach instead of going after more qualified coaches.
  25. Here is data from an article in SI: Kevin Kolb made approximately $14.4 million from the Eagles, $30 million from the Cardinals and will make $2.65 million from the Bills for total earnings of over $47 million. Flynn will make $14.5 million in two years: (10M Guaranteed with Seattle and 4.5M with Oakland). http://mmqb.si.com/2013/09/12/kevin-kolb-matt-flynn/
