  1. RW is going to want bigger $$$$ and be a fraction of keeping Eric M. Besides, I would be suspicious that RW's success is more because he has Manning throwing to him , than RW is great
  2. That's right. Teague was a whipping boy much as Glen Parker was in the 90's. He is better than than most would believe. As good as any OL guy we got. And losing him just creates another hole on a team that has a lot of them. Gandy is average at best, Chris V can't stay on the field, MW sucks along with Bennie A, and Preston & Peters are in-experienced. Keep him!
  3. I'd rather have his defensive co-ordinator come back to Buffalo
  4. Kind of hard to judge a guy until someone can consistently get him the ball. Still, I think he can become very good and has shown flashes. Wish he was bigger though like a TO or Moss
  5. To be brutally honest................yeah
  6. I would rather have a killer than wins a Super Bowl than a killer than wins nothing = OJ
  7. After that Edmonton game, I always thought the idea of a game at RWS would be great. I'd go for sure BTW, there are 6 guys next to my Bills seats that come down from Toronto for every game. They're OK, every game at least once, for a cheer they start yelling "GO LEAFS GO"
  8. The most important position on the clubs is goalie and QB. The Sabres have a STUD!!! Ryan Miller, if he progresses more, may make us forget about Dom. The Bills have JP, and we don't know how good he will be. But so far, not much Vanek looks like he is going to be great, again another guy if he keeps progressing. He may very well in 1-3 years be the top guy on the team, other than Miller
  9. My view on fixing the games: 1) The conspiracy would have to be so wide-spread, it would impossible to keep it secret 2) The Colts and Pats were the AFC media darlings. If the NFL was fixed, they would have gotten in before Pitt 3) Go to other team's message boards on any Monday during the season. I swear every team's fan base believes all the calls were directed against them and the opposition got all the breaks
  10. It's interesting how decisions play out in the long run. How at the time they look great or bad, and turn out the opposite. I remember being in the Jim Kelly club party on draft day (2002?) when they took that stud OL guy Mike Williams, anchor for a decade. Then minutes later followed up with the QB to take us to the SB in Drew. Guess not on both moves Conversely, D Regier lets arguably our 2 best players in Satan & Zhitnik go, and look where we are. Probably no cup this year (too young), but in 1-2 years they should be a force to take it all
  11. If he just wants to win, he's going to the Colts. Reg Wayne is a FA who will leave the Colts. Marv Harrison and EM are close friends. EM signs a cap friendly contract and enjoys 16 games of catching Peyton Manning throws. 2006 SB favorite! Why would he stick out the last few years of his career here? We're not going any where towards the playoffs
  12. Do you really see someone like Dick Jauron being able to manage TO?
  13. He meats the criteria for HOF selection The News goes to morning delivery next year I think. At your house by 6am. That ought to create some delivery person openings
  14. NO WAY!!! 12&36. You're too optimistic! Then we start the GM/coach cycle all over again. Maybe even an owner if Ralph is no longer alive
  15. Steeler TE's are opening up the game. I think Everett coming back next year could be huge for JP to find another guy Everett
  16. We took all of Pitt's rejects off their hands so they could be better Isn't the "BUS" retiring after this season? He still looks great even in a part-time role
  17. The problem with a 40-50 yard penalty, ball at the one, is that the refs have virtually given the "O" a sure 7 points. The games, especially championships, should be determined by the players, not the refs. That being said, if you made PI a 15yd penalty, here's what the "D" would do. Any time you're beat, do the PI so as not to give up 7. It would be the new strategy
  18. Hey first vote in. Kubiak, done great things at Denver, plus he's POLISH!!!
  19. I'm not sure TD gave GW a fair shake here. The first year TD gutted the roster and gave GW nothing to work with. The second year GW takes it to 8-8. The 3rd year GW again gets nothing to improve the team as we make no FA signing and draft Willis. And if you think GW doesn't have it, well Joe Gibbs does. Top "D" and heir apparent to Joe G. End of argument
  20. I don't know. I'd like to think there was no intent to injure. When Van Oelhofen grabs his leg and pulls it tight to his body and then rolls over it, well you got to know that is going to injure his knee. Still, after the play, Van Oelhofen appears to be upset he injured him too. What is bad is Palmer does have a messed up knee now. Comparable to Willis?
  21. Carolina's offense looked good Sunday, they could really POUND the ball. Dan Henning???
  22. Bruce's game was NOT turned around by Marv. Believe it or not it was Hank Bullough who put "the sails in his wind". Seriously it was HB who rode him about his conditioning, and Bruce had his break out year in 1986 with 15 sacks under Hank, or at least as long as HB lasted that season
  23. You want to solve the Bills problems? Start by hiring back Greg Williams. His team looks great. And Joe Gibbs knows when he has a good one. Any poster disagreeing with that, go talk to Gibbs and let him give you an education about football
