  1. You're right about that. I considered selling my Denver Saturday night game tickets last year of my seasons. Now my seats aren't spectacular, but similar seats on ebay were going for 3x the face value. I thought that could be a good down payment on this season's tickets
  2. By the looks of him, we're only talking a week or 2
  3. So we lost one of our few better players, and who is the last impact 5th rounder we had? 1984 punter John Kidd?
  4. So what? Lets talk results. I don't see anything but a bunch of bodies. Tripplett is OK Player, Pos. 2005 Team Designation Contract Length Matt Bowen, S Washington Other* Undisclosed Andre' Davis, WR New England Unrestricted Undisclosed Melvin Fowler, C Minnesota Unrestricted Undisclosed Craig Nall, QB Green Bay Unrestricted 3 years Robert Royal, TE Washington Unrestricted 5 years Larry Tripplett, DT Indianapolis Unrestricted Undisclosed
  5. The big problem I have with this logic, building for tomorrow, I'm PAYING today for season tickets. I want to see some commitment to winning. All I see is vets cut, Moulds going, maybe JP, what's left??? 1-3 wins next year could be a real possibility because there is no new talent coming in. Before everyone puts RW on a pedestal, talk to fans that go back into the 70's and 80's. Ralph IS cheap, and in those years we consistently lost unless some fluke of events led us to some momentary success. He would not spend for winning then. Now in the late 80's and early-mid 90's, perhaps RW's mindset was that he has made a ton of $$$ in my lifetime, and I'm willing to spend now for a winner. Today, with the new higher cap in place, Ralph is cheaping out, and saving money for his heirs, and Marv is helping him execute it
  6. Well I disagree with this guy. But only a little because he sums it up really well. More like 2011. Marv fired/quits/dies after 3 years. The next guy turns it around in 3 years
  7. Eric Moulds...............OK technically not a FA
  8. I'll rush the judgement then, I think this ranks right up there with Stew Barber, Kay Stephenson, Hank Bullough, and a whole slew of other front office failures the Bills had in their history
  9. I never listen to the Bulldog and his incredibly irritating voice and style when I'm on the Skyway, otherwise I may be tempted to make a hard right turn
  10. Geez, the Sabres just came off a big game this weekend, and are in the hunt for top spot in the East. There should be a lot of hockey to talk about. There's another big Sabre game tonight. Yet GR doesn't give the Sabres enough talk time, and they even carry the games. Few fans seem to call about the Sabres either.
  11. I was thinking the same thing. What's the point of copying that?
  12. Which is probably why they were due 2 weeks ago, before we could wise up
  13. Was he in the all-you-can-eat buffet line?
  14. In this economy, there are a lot of people, myself included, who gave up a lot more than 3.5%. And we don't make or are worth the $$$$$$$$$$$$ Ralph has
  15. Exactly. They're like at 95 mil, and they're looking a Bentey, Adams, Mawae, Culpepper if he's released and Brees. Geez, we are well below where they are, we better be doing a lot in FA
  16. If it is her, I'm sure someone else did all the research work, including right down to the typing
  17. Don't forget to pay your child support on the way out
  18. You got the best avatar on the board!!! Who is that?
  19. I thought with he release of MW & EM we were like $10-12 mil under the cap. But I guess EM has not yet been formally cut either. Still, with Sam's cut, we should be like at least $8-10 under as far as I knew
  20. From WGRZ's site today, this can't help building a stadium: Buffalo Tops List of Cash Strapped Cities State Comptroller Alan Hevesi analyzed 61 cities outside of New York City and found that Buffalo was the most fiscally stressed metropolis. Buffalo stress
  21. That's much more likely that what I posted
  22. So long as we are a winner, and my ticket prices & taxes don't increase, I'm OK with it. But don't count on it
  23. No, it was Lancaster. Walden avenue, 1/2 mile east of Transit road
  24. You know that Cottrel stadium would have been long gone too as it was only going to be about the size of the Astrodome. We would have had to have built something more in line with today's needs as far as suites and size. That Cottrel stadium would be way too small for today's NFL
