  1. I can sympathize with the handicapped. Take my bike to work today, and a car squeezed into the MC parking area which left no space for me. F'ing BASTARD!!!
  2. You nailed it. Gave up my seasons 2 years ago, but this is always the game I go to.
  3. Head East's "Never Been Any Reason" from the album "Flat as a Pancake". Any decent bar cover band has got to have this in their song lists
  4. Yes, he does own it. I always go for the fettucine alfredo. Wife goes lobster
  5. All right, I'll admit I'm not 100% sure here of what I say. But my wife works for a dermatologist and gives me stories all the time........not that I listen. Don't you have to have the mole removed and biopsied to confirm you have melanoma? Ie: I just had a patch removed a couple months ago, and I had to wait for the results to confirm basil cell melanoma, which were negative thankfully. I know what the rest of you are saying too about burning flesh, great smell
  6. You got to refresh my memory and tell me what TW gave me. All I see is nonsense channels that no one would ever in their right mind pay for. ie: more shopping, religious, and community channels Verizon just got approval with Hamburg to start putting in FIOS TV later this year. Hurry up to West Seneca because I'll be the first customer
  7. I was at that game, I would have been 11. I recall they returned either 4 or 5 picks for TD's
  8. The stadium exit on to Best Street. I believe there was a sign over the exit that said "Best Exit"
  9. Screw that! We NEED to SIGN the cop. The speed threat opposite Evans Maybe Wright was dressed like a big donut, giving the cop incentive to run that fast
  10. Check out the cliff edges these guys ride next to and the speed too BIKES
  11. And if it doesn't work out, at least Attica is right down the road
  12. Just guessing, I'd say $10,000/year, maybe up to 12
  13. I agree with a lot of the borrowing advice you're getting here. Nothing beats over-spending and being really TIED into your house. I under-spent, and never really regretted it Another grossly simple equation on how much you can afford: Take what your realtor says you can afford, and divide that by 2 Seriously.............
  14. I would wager that the bulk of purchased seats in DC are done by your tax dollar, not by individuals. Same as in Dallas, more than likely corporate purchases that are then distributed to employees, vendors and customers
  15. Don't forget the same 80% think Youboty is HOF material Seriously though he has shown enough to develop into a decent player
  16. Pretty easy. Loose 3 All-Stars: Briere, Drury, and Campbell.......... Think of it the other way, take any team in the NHL and add those 3 players to their roster, they probably improve 15 points in the season, quite a swing Oh gee, 15 points would put the Sabres in 1st place in the East
  17. Pretty much what I posted, the same story
  18. Tough situation. I can feel for you putting a lot of $$$ into an old vehicle. Still, sell it as is and you're looking at $500 probably. So for what amounts to like 3 new car payments you can still drive it around and sell it for book value at least To everyone else, careful with Chrysler minivans and transmissions. My '02, in service 5 years, 3 months, 40,000 miles has had re-programs, adjustments, in 3x plus one complete re-build with convertor already. And it is running funny again. 7/70 is a sham as they charge you deductibles that are no where in your warranty, or it is not covered. Even so, I'm a fool if I keep it past the 7 years, so I got 21 months left to own the van then time to bail.
  19. That is really the "inside" story. No secret that Bill was "battling" with a lot of people when he was here. Compare it to your own job. You could be a STAR, but if you cannot get along with people in the organization, your days are numbered. I've seen it a few times in my history
  20. The Sabres had success with Drury and Briere who were not draft picks of Buffalo. They are gone and we stink now
  21. I drove by and saw the line. What the heck was going on in there, like anything special? The line went out into the street
  22. Last night went to the East Side to re-discover my roots. You know, Dyngus Day!!! Man, that whole area around the Broadway Market is pretty nasty. Lots of boarded up vacant homes. Just ride down some of the side streets. Holy cow
