Everyone keeps saying we made the playoffs because we got rid all those players. I think its unfair to say that especially since all the players we traded all made the playoffs on other teams.. All of them. I guess they weren't detrimental cancers where they went to play. Btw does anybody stop and think for a second that we might of been better with all the players here? That we might of went 11-5 instead of 9-7 . Everyone seems to make it like those moves were the difference. We have been a basically 8-8 team these last 4yrs the difference was the injuries in 2015 and 2016 that's what kept out the playoffs.

I'm pretty sure Hou offered us that trade as well as Cleveland but Mcd choose to make a deal with his buddy Andy Reid instead . It can not be overstated how much of a bad decision this was. Hou was going with Savage at QB that alone should of been good enough reason to make that deal with them instead of KC. This decision might cost us our franchise QB and i think it falls on Mcd.

Tim Tebow had good stats throwing down the field in college. Actually probably the easiest passes to make considering how open wrs get on that level. I watched some film of White and although i agree he has a strong arm. He struggled badly going to 2nd and 3rd reads and under pressure. He also lacks anticipation skills. I think he's a 3rd day player.

Potential replacements for Eric Wood

I love Hubbard and if Groy is looking good at Center we can kick him outside at RT or even at guard . Hubbard can play all 5 spots on the line he'll be in demand this offseason. -

McDermott type Quarterbacks

So basically he likes scrubs , Quire boys, i don't get it really its already hard enough to find a franchise QB now u need to find one that fits all these criteria. Btw wheres the breakdown of what he likes physically from his QBs do they need to know how to play football? A guy like Mayfield fits alot of these criteria u listed he's a senior , smart kid . But does his character check the good or the bad? Because most people are saying he's a student of the gm a football junkie is loved by his teammates and a great leader to them. Is that the character he's looking for? Because that sounds like a franchise QB to me. -
At Last, a GM Who Values Comp Picks

This is not the chart i seen . Really at the end of the day this comp pk formula is a bunch of crap if u ask me. The guys we lost were getting paid big money and they were past high pks for us . We sign a couple of depth players for cheap and can't get nothing out of it. It just doesn't match up the NFL needs to work on this. Who's to say with a little more time Darby wouldn't of bought in and started to play at a high level. That would of been one less hole to fill this offseason for us. The problem i have with Mcd is his insistence to add ready made players for his schemes instead of coaching guys up to fit him. To me the best coaches are the ones that can shape mold players to fit there systems. For now Mcd hasn't proven to do this yet. I believe we are gonna pay a tax for breaking the drought. This team has massive holes to fill and the biggest of them all is QB. Missing out on Mahomes and Watson might be a back breaker for Mcd when its all said and done. -
QB: Mike White WKU

This can never happen again. Btw we tried to hop over Pitt and get Big Ben and we didn't agree to terms. We were trying to move up i believe 2 , 3 spots with Hou. I wonder what the pks were being discussed. This can never happen again. Btw we tried to hop over Pitt and get Big Ben and we didn't agree to terms. Put him on the coaching staff not on the field. He's done. Lol -
Reason for Concern?
NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not hitting the panic buttom but it is a little concerning. I hope they go out and grab some guys that add different dimensions to our offense we need 2 more 3 down caliber bks . To go with Benji and Zay we need to add 2 speedsters to wr core. Most importantly whoever we add i hope they can run after the catch . Make people miss in open field. -
The Bills made some great offseason pkups last yr on Defense, Hyde, Poyer, Tre, Milano & Gaines were very good additions to this team. These additions were great in value and helped us break the 17yr drought . But what's the common theme here there all defensive players. Mcd being a defensive minded coach might had alot to do with these moves as he found guys that fit his scheme like a glove. What about the offense? What went wrong here? I think its safe to say none of these guys earned there keep on the field this yr and most alarming to me is none of these players offer much as far as difference maker talents. The Wrs are all big and slow and don't have much speed to spread the field. Dimarco and Tolbert are blah blah players that didn't contribute very much either. Is this a sign to be concerned about? DiMarco - where was all the passes he was supposed to catch? Plus he's not even that good of a blocker Tolbert - the biggest head scratcher of them all . I see how he brings a leadership role to the team but he should never be a #2 RB in the NFL. Actually he never has in his 12 seasons. He was always a FB/ short yardage bk Zay, Matthews & Benjamin These 3 i can say the same thing bout big & slow can't separate is this how we want our wrs looking from here on out. Do we have reason to be concerned about the lack of talent evaluation on the offensive side of the ball.

At Last, a GM Who Values Comp Picks
NastyNateSoldiers replied to Thurman#1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not arguing the fit I'm arguing the value. Btw Gaines wasnt traded for Darby. We could of possibly traded for Gaines for the 3rd we got for Darby and kept Sammy. Gaines wasn't a fit in Wade system either and was coming off of an injury plagued season. Mof we probably could of gotten him for a 5th and kept that 3rd we got in return for Darby. I'm not a big fan of the trades we made this last offseason. I think we could of done better. Matthews is a average wr at best and was probably gonna get cut from philly roster . I would of asked for Mychal Kendricks instead . -

We had until week 10 to correct this so it falls on Beane. Darby plays in alot of zone in Schwartz defense. He looks pretty comfortable in his scheme which is very similar to Mcd D -

I don't believe it we could of had a extra third if the Bills would have cut Ducasse, Davis & Holmes by week 10 of last season. Beane was in charge and he didn't make the necessary cuts to do so . Ducasse was a starter on the line but he was easily replaceable the others where just rotation guys. BTW we traded Darby for a 3 just think bout that. Darby is more valuable then 3 journeymen rotation players. Just doesn't make sense to me. -
Not to mention all the calls they get . Which some think is a product of bad officiating and i think it's a product of Manufactured Dynasty. Bad officiating goes both ways sooner or later the bad should go towards the Pats but somehow there immune to this. Therefore its not a coincidence. This is why i hate the Pats.

If the Bills get a veteran QB...........
NastyNateSoldiers replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is a big deal u can't continue to throw pks in the garbage. I don't care where they are. Yes u can go safe but that doesn't mean u will keep your job after 3yrs anyways. Basically most guys get fired nowadays after 2, 3 yrs the NFL is constantly churning guys in and out whether its players or front office & coaches and the ones that seem to keep there jobs are the teams that have that franchise saving QB. So its definitely an interesting Balance. At the end of the day i guess u got to be more lucky then good . -
This happens and it doesn't work out Mcd needs to be fired. Plain and simple. Especially if Mahomes or Watson become stars. I like Mcd as a coach but i question his ability to make front office GM moves. Last yr in the draft we had 2 potential guys we could started the process with but like the long line of Defensive Head Coaches we've had he just had to draft the Cornerback first. I realize Tre is a good player but u just can't compare to what we possibly missed on.
