They have nearly 100mil in cap space plus they already gonna spend big on Garropollo. So naturally a deal like this actually benefits there cap situation. By signing Cousins and trading Garropollo for multiple firsts. They essentially kill 2 birds with one stone. I'm not saying this will happen just saying if Garropollo was somehow available this could be the reason. Remember Cousins and Kyle have a great relationship. Maybe Kyle feels like he can get the same things and more out of a more proven Cousins.

We can allocate free agents money to 2019 cap. Problem solved. The cap is a jk.

Burton i believe can start for us and also be used extensively. Clay can't be counted on anymore . I realize we don't save any money by cutting him and he carries a dead cap hit but that doesn't seem to bother McBeane much. I would love to sign ASJ also . That would give us a big traditional TE and a Move Guy. McKinnon would be a excellent fit in Daboll system also. The Bills need mutiple 3 down bks and also need to draft McCoy replacement this yr. I would love to draft Sony Michel he reminds me of Alvin Kamara. Very explosive and can catch. Just look at the teams in the playoffs most of them feature 3bks or more. Taylor Gabriel well your right he is #3 or #4 Wr but a necessary player that gives us speed to burn. We still going to need a eventual #1 guy i just don't see us drafting a Wr high this yr. I can see us going value in free agency at this position. Going after guys like Donte Moncrief or Michael Flyod. We can possibly heading for Wr by committee approach for now. Also watch out for Reilly being a great fit in Daboll offense. At the end of the day these moves won't cost much towards the cap and gives us flexibility in the draft to build our Defense. The next question is what to do at QB. I say a trade for Alex Smith is going to happen weve already made multiple trades with Kc now its time for give back from them. Smith is a great fit for the "process" . Mcd is a Defensive guy those coaches seem to love gm manager types.

The only way Garropollo leaves SF is if they had a wink wink deal in place for Cousins and manage to trade Garropollo for mutiple pks. Now this gonna happen not likely at all. But like someone said here earlier if Cleveland makes a big offer including there 2 firsts. That would give the 49ers 3pks in top 10 and a QB like Cousins that Shanahan has a repore with. I don't get all the Rosen love i think he's to frail to play the position in the NFL. I see mutiple broken bones in his future and no 2nd contract because he will just quit. He throws a pretty pass but that doesn't alone project to elite QB play in the NFL. I also don't like his attitude and not because he speaks his mind. Its his mannerisms that concern me. He just seems like a Cutler/ George type i don't want nothing to do with him.

Andy owes Mcd a favor. I'm pretty sure Houston was on line #2 when we were on the board at #10 and any common man would have taken Houston pk rather then a loaded Kc teams pk for the 2018 draft. Mcd made a deal with his buddy and in turn it cost us the 4th overall pk in this draft. Andy should send us Alex for a mid rd pk. Lets see Tyrod 8800yds the last 3 yrs. Alex Smith 11,000. There not the same player. A Smith has his flaws but he's a proven winner . Mof he has the 2nd or 1st most wins of any QB since 2011. Yes that hasnt translated to playoff success but his arrow is pointing up coming off a career yr at age 32 while it seems like Tyrod going bkwards. Its a very unfair comparison.

It sounds like the perfect QB for this system would be Baker Mayfield.

We need Yac attack guys . 2 more 3 down RBs sign Jerrick Mckinnon and draft Sony Michel in 2nd rd. Get me some wrs with speed and wiggle . Guys that can take a slant to the house. The future of the NFL is here and Yac attack is at the forefront of offensive play. Just look at all the playoff teams. They all imploy 3 RBs that can do it all and have Wrs that can run after the catch.

How bout Michael Flyod he's only 28 would come cheap and is 2yrs removed from off field incidents. He also played with the Patriots so he has some familiarity with Erhardt Perkins system Daboll will imploy here.

I like to see us keep the mid teir theme going. RB Jerrick Mckinnon- wouldn't cost much and can play multiple roles for Daboll . He's smooth out the bkfield catching the ball and has speed to take to house from anywhere on the field. He's also become a much better RB running threw the tackles the past 2 seasons. Draft a bk (Sony Michael) and sign Mckinnon and we will have the best trio of bks in the NFL. TE - Trey Burton this guy is a gamer a young healthy version of Charles Clay. Burton would be immediate upgrade for us at TE and would allow us to cut ties with Clay during the offseason. Wr - Taylor Gabriel gives us a speedster we definitely need to open things up underneath. These 3 signings won't break the bank and would give some much needed play makers on the offensive side of the ball. Also gives us flexibility in the draft to add some talent to our Defense.
