  1. I don't know which is worse, seeing that d-bag with his creepy serial killer grin or the Prilosec OTC chick doing her version of "dancing."
  2. It's Keanu Reeves coming to save the earth from the human race!!!!
  3. Nope, don't try pinning that one on me, pally! That's either WVU or Mile High, but it ain't me...
  4. I pictured you to be the kind of guy that pops it over the fireplace while Half-pint, Mary and Carrie Ingalls wait patiently for you start playing the fiddle! I know what you mean, my wife is going to give me a strange look when I bring home some jiffy pop tonight! I used to do the same thing in college, except I had one of those noisey hot air poppers. I try not to use the microwave stuff as much as possible, I prefer popping it on the stove as well. I remember in the late 80s you couldn't find any pop corn poppers that weren't microwave or hot air.
  5. Vance Law cleaning his glasses!?! Kind of a cool project if you ask me. Sometimes my son and I will drag out my old Topps sets and look at them. Like Curse said... "when collecting cards was fun."
  6. "awwww jeez, penny's got his panties in a wad again." But seriously I do agree, I thought the announcers on Fox were pretty bad as well.
  7. Good god, I knew you were going to show up about 15 seconds after I typed that... you're like fuggin beelzebub.
  8. Jesus Gringo, my name isn't Paul Reubens! I should have said "self-imposed ban." I can't stomach going to movies anymore... people won't shut up, the OG sitting behind me finds a need to tell anyeone within 7 rows of him which females he approves of by saying "I'd hit that," baby's mommas bring in their infants, (and supposedly I live in a decent part of Colorado Springs), everything is overpriced, previews and other commercials take 25 minutes... ugh, it must be Monday or I'm channelling "cincy" again today.
  9. ...Or goes out for lots o' beers the night before "sculpting" either. That is pretty fuggin cool though.
  10. Looking forward to seeing this movie actually. I may even break my four-year ban on seeing movies in an actual theater.
  11. When you're in the Colorado Springs, probably the last thing you want is WNY food again, but if you do, the best spot is Back East Bar and Grill in the Briargate area of the Springs. Owned and run by a guy from the northtowns actually. Great guy and decent food as well. Old Colorado City (which is due west of downtown Colorado Springs) is simliar to how grunt described Boulder... small pedetrian type place with lots of shops, touristy stores, kitschy places like that. Stop by a watering hole named "Meadow Muffins" for a really interestesting and fun place to eat and have a couple drinks. If you head a couple miles further west, you'll end up in Manitou Springs, which is.... well... uh... an interesting collection of lifestyles to say the least. (put it this way, it's nothing like Jamestown, but everything that the artsy-fartsy-alternative JCC crowd would LIKE Jamestown to be like. If you want to do some small stakes gambling, there's Cripple Creek, which is about 30 to 40 miles west of Colorado Springs. It's an old mining town that has been converted to a $5.00 min-max gaming town. All the casinos (except one) are in renovated saloons, hotels and turn-of-the-century gambling parlors, kind of a neat experience if nothing else. I would advise if you are going to do this to take one of the hourly shuttles that leaves Colorado Springs (link below): http://www.ramblinexpress.com/casinoShuttles.html Word to the wise: Traffic sucks in Colorado Springs if you get off I-25, so just keep that in mind. Not sure if we can hook up while you are here, but enjoy your trip!
  12. “I’m Ko Simpson with the Buffalo Bills. I am worth millions!” The off season just keeps getting better doesn't it?
  13. I don't totally disagree with you. The ownership has really shat on the what the fans wanted to see, but I've lived through the Kay Stephenson and Hank Bullough years, this is a flesh wound compared to those years. It's going to take more than this for me to give up on Buffalo and as such the NFL as a whole. Now when the Bills leave town, yeah the NFL is dead to me.
  14. Wow, we've sunk to poster-on-poster violence now? I'm not happy about the decision either, in fact it really kind of pisses me off, but I'm not giving up on this team either. I won't necessarily invest scads of money on buying merchandise or plan my Sundays around watching the games if this 7-9 or worse trend continues... but I'm not giving up on them completely either. I have to have some sort of rooting interest, besides the fantasy football players I draft.
  15. Good lord, this state is going to have a civil war tonight as well!!!
  16. We could break the "most posters at one time" record, what with a lot of people off tomorrow, the amount of beer most of us are going to drink as result of this... yep, it's gonna be a gong show around here.
  17. I'm going to jump in my BMW and drive over to the school and talk to some janitors and maybe swing by the ball field and lob some pitches to the kids who can't hit to save their lives. (oh wait, if I don't work with my son as my MIL suggested last spring, that'll be him!!!!)
  18. Been there and done that sir... and with that I bid you a good day!
  19. At least there's that to laugh about.... Lot's o drinkin tonight folks.
  20. No, no, no... you've got it all wrong. With Vince's "slap chop" you're all set. "You know you hate to make salad." "Who has time for breakfast?" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DkAZo8Z4gWE
  21. I haven't gotten any notice in the mail. Guess I'm not one of the "lucky ones." Well if Yellowstone triggers the end, I guess it's close enough, that I should have a decent seat for the big ending. Me, my dog, a cooler of beer and my lawn chair.
  22. Got my vote, you know damn well I wasn't voting for the TT vs UT game. (sorry beersphere)
