  1. I hear if you click your heels together 3 times and chant "This was Whaley's draft!" it just might come true!! I get it though, after 13 years of no playoffs I don't expect most fans to be grounded in reality. It's much more fun to use your imagination at this stage.
  2. Nooo, that game was in early October and it was dry and like 50 degrees. Derek Anderson completed 2 passes the entire game. 2 passes for 23 yards. And won.
  3. That had potential to crash my TV screen. Thank God Tannehill missed.
  4. Yeah, we don't beat Carolina and Miami without him. So if 2 wins before the halfway point of the season isn't making a difference in your eyes, well, I don't know what you expect. I get the feeling that if you were a Denver fan you would be on their forums criticizing Peyton Manning.
  5. And it rightfully should. That was a terrible call, probably the worst call all year. And I love it lol.
  6. Did you see him miss the sack on the final Hail Mary? HE COULD HAVE COST US THE GAME!
  7. Time to bump the Mario for Skelton thread.
  8. Ok, did 50% of the roster turnover like you claimed? Yes or no? No, it didn't. You are wrong. I'm starting to think you are part of the tinfoil hat brigade that believes Doug Whaley was the secret mastermind controlling this years draft, pulling all the strings behind the curtain. Well I got news for that crowd - Buddy Nix drafted Kiko Alonso. Did anyone's head explode?
  9. There hasn't been close to 50% turnover in the starting lineup, maybe like 35% of the 53-man roster if you count both kickers, special teams and 2nd stringers? Not out of line for a complete coaching change. Aside from a QB, WR and some LBs, our starting lineup is basically the same as last year, and the new guys were brought in by Nix so I'm not sure what the point is. To get back on topic, Colin Brown is gone, and I have no problems giving Mark Asper a shot if Legursky happens to go down.
  10. Well it's not 50%, and the conclusion is obvious - they brought in an entirely new coaching staff. Despite what many think, a GM does not build a roster in a vacuum. Of course, Nix is still ultimately responsible for the current product on the field, so talking about turnover under him doesn't really mean jack with a regime change.
  11. Holy hyperbole Batman! The man said they thought they had two starting guards on the roster. They were wrong, they only had one.
  12. They got about $3.8M in room this year. Next year Vanek, Miller, Ott, and Tallinder are all UFAs so that could free up another $20M or so. They've definitely shown a willingness to spend money, but they haven't shown that they can spend it wisely. On that note, Woohoo, only 4 more years and $18M left on Ville Leino's contract!
  13. Justin Rogers was just spotted attempting to purchase a pitchfork-proof uniform.
  14. The second-coming of Wayne Gretzky could be available, but it will not matter. We will draft a defenseman.
  15. My God Ralph is so #$%ing cheap he makes our military and underpriviledged kids sit in the upper deck. Any other owner would have bought out club seats for our soldiers what a disgrace.
  16. If you want breaking updates, yes.
  17. That number proves that Ticketmaster (and other ticket sites) cannot be used to gauge remaining tickets.
  18. I just heard on WGR that the Bills are applying for an extension.
  19. The real stud on that team is Justin Smith. Once he went down for the last 3 games, Aldon Smith was invisible. Which brings up another point - injuries.
  20. Taxpayer money for stadium improvements has nothing to do with TV blackouts. Nothing has really changed regarding blackouts in the last 40 years. There sure is a lot of whining and teeth-gnashing for such a "horrible product on the field" that you couldn't "pay me to watch."
  21. The Bills would have went to the Superbowl this year if they had Levitre. Maybe the next 5 Superbowls - one for each year we signed him.
