  1. His light burned bright for many to see towards the end. It was a journey . it is an inspiration .
  2. well they had guns.... allegedly
  3. Gruden also got rid of Mack. and has undermined Carr as his QB. not a good reasoning to downplay Lee's attributes and how he fits in Buffalo. Maybe you do not like Daboll..and Beanes ?
  4. reasonable view. Bills likely feel both TEs drafted will have a sincere role in this Offense. but they both absolutely need time. and mentoring. Bills just improved the QB room. like they have been doing in all the positions groups it seems.
  5. actually some Teams prefer both. TEs that can be multiple are rare. Gronkowski has shown more recently he is a willing blocker. Smith can catch the ball. But he does not get thrown to much , not is he exciting to watch after tha catch. But if he knows where the yard marker is ? fine by me. He is in Bufalo to bring the rookies up to speed with the intricate details of instilling fear in safeties of a clock cleaning downfield. A good blocking TE still needs to keep the defenders honest and aware. he will do that. I said before i was sad Bills let him go.Glad he is back. Older and wiser and still healthy and angry just enough : )
  6. some folks are just wrong about Lee and what Daboll wants to run. This fills the gap Bills had at TE for calling those plays. The play book opens another chapter. Now if Knox can catch .. this should be fun to watch. Dimarco has not done as well as I hoped. But he has not been awful enough to replace yet. I think Bills want to keep a FB. moving forward.
  7. we are in the minority. or maybe it is just me : 0
  8. head on a swivel Zebras !! if defenses do not stay diligent. he will catch it. I think this bodes well for HB and PA. he can still clear a zone. and if someone does not stick with him you make them think twice next play. But he is likely here to mentor pass block and protect Allen. Good second level blocker obviously ; ) thanks for the Lee on Lee viddy ^^ depends on the contract doesn't it ? guaranteed monies etc
  9. Decent post . He has the exp to teach Sweeney and Knox by now as plus.
  10. I know right ! just an awesome comment. Love the Kid. The Joseph Kid scares me a bit. Hope he can balance his yin with yang on the field as a Pro
  11. Hey Bills gave Kelsay a bonus contract to finish his career in Buffalo !? This FO is a bit more level headed I hope. Picking up the option is an easy NO. Letting him play the season and then test the market would be best for both sides. if he shows up this year , perhaps a long term negotiations should begin. or he could be traded before the season starts> keep an eye on this story. edge setters get no respect I tell you. No respect at all.
  12. no reason not to take look. Plenty of reasons not to sign. Have not followed him since gone from Bills But i do wish Bills kept him. Very willing blocker. and he did catch what was thrown at him generally. just could not outrun anyone. He could have a role in Dabolls offense. all depending on what the other Guys look like. Hopefully all that Croom koolaid we read form obd was true. still need a lunch pail TE.
  13. is assessing his value to the team still tied to his reach of a pick perhaps ? He is a solid , not spectacular player. steady improvement in his role last year. nearly a bust before that imo. injury and sketchy play. good prove it year for him in Buffalo is my opinion
  14. i expect them all to have a good year with this rotation. Good question OP. I expect most teams use a containment type of player with some pass rush push. He was using his hands better last year, including recognizing pass lanes and when the ball was coming out. I might be in the minority but i would like to see him improve enough to remain as a rotational player. He can easily move inside on pass downs if needed. Thats a plus for him. going to keep an eye on him if he makes it to the roster of 53 without a trade this is the fact, he relies in strength and technique . Both of which could improve in my opinion. good read and recognition, and improved his discipline last year
  15. Keen eye. Thanks for the scouting tip : )
  16. you had to poke the bear. he was almost ready for nap.

i too thought you were smarter than that   lol  jk

     : )

     cheers !

  17. yep. very easy to root for these guys, and Jackson as well. because character. Go Bills
  18. steel sharpens steel. Playing against Bellichick is like tempering your sword by putting into the hottest of fire. They prepare better than anyone, and are Queens of the half time adjustment. some folks have forgotten perhaps. MCd said quietly , early in his tenure here... We are building to beat the Patriots. quite sure that is the focus still. I like this LaAdrian fellow and hope we can find a spot for him on the 53.
  19. My thoughts as well ! and for Devin ? He can learn from masters at two different styles of running. Lets us hope he takes the best of both and makes it his own, i too thought the pick was perhaps a reach. since he was drafted and i learn more, the more he grows on me. Sure like what beanes and McD are doing both with finding talented , and heart of a warrior type of players.
  20. Which in turn , will help the defense improve. : 0
  21. agreed on both counts. MCD learning to be a head coach had to designate duties regardless. Cannot do everything. Looks like FO and Coach are learning and working hard to improve the team short and long term.
  22. I once felt that way about Leslie I no longer do. He is executing the design nicely. Full court press to address the Offense this year gets my thumbs up. nailed it !
  23. remember when they Teams loaded the box for tyrod ? well now we want teams to. and the Allens chucks the ball to our speed guys. this is going to b fun. i am in the minority wish we kept Smith.
