  1. that would be fezmid pm him and check this out on the trading post: http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=9546 I am already into him for a "raw" dvd burn of the game
  2. Just say the word, and we'll put your name down on our website as an honorary member. But, it will cost you TWICE what the usual fee is 2 X zero = .....hmmmmmm
  3. Answer to question 1: Seldom Answer to question 2: Zero but many -a -barb was thrown at announcer Don Criqui (sp?) for his inane and stupid/lost comments. The man appears to be close to being brain-dead. And when will tasker get high enough in the ranks to feel safe making "nice" comments about the Bills. In his defense, Paul MacGurie was like that for years until he became "famous" enough so that he could harp on for hours about his beloved Bills.
  4. You are correct sir. When it happened I pointed this out to the entire Central NJ Backer Crew. There was a (brief) moment of reverent silence. I noted the time and date.
  5. FULL recovery from an ACL tear takes about 2 years. He is already ahead of schedule He, himself, has said he's about 95% back. Plus, remember in essense this kid is a rookie. Almost every RB - even one coming from college fully healthy - has his best years in years 3,4,5 etc. For a rookie, coming off such a major injury, I'd say he's doin' ok. At least...a little bit...
  6. I totally agree. The guy costs about $1 mil next year. He is a capable backup/breather for Mcgahee and at a bargain price? And now we won't get a 1st rounder for him. Trade him? No Way.
  7. Hey Alaska...just curious, where is your land in wny located?
  8. too funny deeray - I have for weeks and weeks been calling moorman our Number 1 offensive weapon but now with McGee, Fast Freddie and Nate...maybe Moorman falls to ...number 2? 3?
  9. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/4416/news (link) text below: source "FANBALL.com" Nov 24 Matt Hasselbeck's charley horse on his right thigh is not getting better and head coach Mike Holmgren is not sure he will be back on Sunday. "I am scratching my head at this injury. (Team trainers) assured me that they are going full-speed ahead, and they're exhausting all modern medical science to try and get this thing fixed," Holmgren told the Sun. "This is the most serious charley horse in the history of charley horses." Hasselbeck missed last week's game because of the charley horse, which he suffered in week ten against the Rams. Views: We couldn't find any books about the history of charley horses so we believe Holmgren that is the most serious one ever. How else can it be explained that Hasselbeck may have to miss two games because of it? He was downgraded to questionable on the injury report at the end of last week and will probably start this week with same designation. Once he practices then Hasselbeck owners can feel safe putting him back into the lineup and he has to practice soon because a professional football player can't miss two weeks due to a charley horse, right? ******************* I also just read a report that Seattle is trying out punters this week - their current punter is averaging just 38 yards after winning the starting job the past four weeks (source: KFFL) Sooooo, if the Bills could just find a way to score. We can't have another special teams score....right right? Beuller? --RichNJoisy Central NJ Buffalo Bills Backers
  10. how many did Metzalaars have vs San franciso 3 or 4?
  11. The espn "experts" - 4 out of 5 of them - are picking the Bills. Given that we are 6 point underdogs, I see this as a good sign. (why not?) Note that Boller has already fumbled four times in only five games. Swipe at that ball Buffalo! -RnJ
  12. Cajun - the link was : http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/5478/news (player news for me since Todd is on my free fantasy team) The link pointed to their source as being the Baltimore Sun
  13. Oct 19 Tight end Todd Heap remained sidelined with an ankle injury, and the Baltimore Sun said he is a long shot to be available for Sunday's game against the Bills.
  14. Hey!!! Count in a coupla more. RevNJoisy and RichNJoisy will be at both the Cardies and the jetssuckssuckssucks games We'll be parking at Hammer's (and no, no CNJBBB "entourage"....which means no wings being cooked ....sigh)
  15. Johnny Check out Bills Central (Central New Jersey Buffalo Bills Backers) Many at TBD know us personnally now and will vouch that we are the real deal (ie Huge fans) Info and directions to "Bills Central" can be found at our website: http://members.myhost.com/lancgud/CentralNJBillsBackers/ Send me a pm, email me or feel free to call. -Rich President, CNJBBB
  16. CNJBBB representatives will indeed be at the 10/10 game - probably Big Daddy, Jason and maybe also Mark and Kaz. My wife and I are unlikely attendees at this point. Glad you enjoyed the wings! Go Bills!!! -Rich Pres, CNJBBB
  17. The remnants of Frances appear poised to dump on the Patsie-Colt game tomorrow night. heavy rain all day moderate to high winds means only short passes and a dependence on the run game plus lots of turnovers. sloppy sloppy field Also, if the Colts get a lead the crowd will be wet and miserable. Go get'em Frances!!! I'll take James over Dillon anyday.......... (four yards and a cloud of...mud)
  18. Tom, Be sure to grab a wing (or two or three) from the Central NJ Bills Backers. Follow your nose........
  19. sorry about the bee sting living in horse country and mowing over an acre ...bee stings are old hat to me....more's the pity but if it gave you a more positive outlook on the season then I say SWARM!!! ************ The negative reviews I continue to read here and elsewhere continue to baffle me. This is last year's predcited-to-be 11-5 team minus Antoine but plus Mularkey and McGahee and Villarrial and Vincent. The schedule (which so many are pointing at as bad) is one designed to get us out of the box hot, two weeks to prepare for the Patsies, then we get the Jets away and Miami at home. The four out of six on the road at the end of the season is fine with me since Bledsoe does not play as good in the bad weather so the home field means a little less than it does in the warmer weather. I would rather win at home in the warm weather than lose in the cold and take my chances in warm weather away late in the season. First things first: Jacksonville. Byron Leftwich and Fred taylor are both ? right now The former for bad play (<60 QB rating in the preaseason) and the latter for having only 6 carries in the preseason due to an ankle strain. Add that to a pumped RWS crowd, a defense that should rank in the top five and you are looking at the Bills needing only 13-17 points to win. In my mind, just like last year's Opener, if the Bills can get an early lead the Jags are in BIG trouble. One question I have for you Bill and the other "vet" posters: The Bills never (Not even once) threw long to Evans...is it just me or do I smell a bomb or two coming up next Sunday? Maybe play number 1? -RichNJoisy
  20. I agree Mark wholeheartedly. Mostly, I feel sorry for the kid since these were the only games he would be playing in this year. This injury has a VERY high likelihood of full recovery. Your idea to have him sit next to Wyche in the control room is intriguing The impact on the Bills this year is likely zero. Now, go out and injure BRADY Troy...(make yourself useful) -RnJ
