The bottom of the roster is basically guys who only play special teams. That’s every team in the league I’d imagine. Kumerow was what, the 5th WR on the depth chart? How valuable is that roster spot exactly?

His contract was likely up and McD decided it was time to move on.

It’s probably worth noting that in 15-16 we had Greg Roman as our OC whose specialty is scheming the run game. We also had LeSean McCoy at the tail end of his prime. Kromer is a good coach and likely a positive hire for this team but some more context is probably worth mentioning.

In this scenario in the McD era we would have spent 3 1st round picks, 2 2nd round picks and 2 3rd round picks on the d-line. Not to mention all the FA money spent towards it and it’s nowhere close to being as dominants as it should be. Yikes. I have concerns about Davis and it’s basically whether he’ll be more than just an early down player at the next level. I’d prefer day 1 and 2 picks to be guys that can consistently get to the QB. Webb is probably a considerable loss to the QB room. I’ve always been a guy who said the only QB in the room who matters is 17 but Webb was like having another coach in his ear. Losing him, Trubisky (maybe) and Daboll is quite a bit. Hopefully we can get a smart vet back in the room.

You don’t know if you can credit Frazier with the defense’s success but have no problem putting the blame on him for its failure? Alright I guess.
