I can understand running it on 3rd and 5 if you plan to go for it on 4th and short. But to kick a FG just makes that a strange call

MVP candidate Tua throws to a wide open receiver who takes it 84 yards for a TD. I swear Tua is either throwing to guys that are wide open or lobbing jump balls to his WRs who seem to always come down with it.

Hurts must be livid that the Eagles offense isn’t skipping a beat with him not playing.

Josh for whatever reason was making some of the worst decisions I’ve seen from him. Both interceptions were head scratchers. He refused to throw the check down and pick up some easy yards and instead tried forcing it downfield. He needs to get his head right before the playoffs. Kudos to Cook and Singletary who had great games. Same to the defense who clamped down after giving up an easy TD on the Bears’ opening drive. Onto Cincinnati

Wonder if Bates plays center with Morse out

Ike is probably on a similar level to the guys you mentioned. If anything, Van Rotten and Quessenberry are crap sandwiches and Ike is a crap sandwich with mayo. We desperately need to address the OL this off-season and it can’t be with guys like Ike.

Ike isn’t any good so I’m not sure why people think he’s a much need addition. He was so bad that he was replaced by Bates.

I think they might already have that player in Bates. Ideally, he’s our swing guard and backup center until it’s time to take over for Morse.

Because he was a very unreliable receiver.

That’s our identity. That’s who we’ve been since McD and Frazier walked into the building and to their credit it’s worked every year. I don’t think an extra LB solves our tackling problem last night.

Just to clarify, Morse is under contract through 2024. But I agree there’s always the risk of his next concussion being a career ended.

Lots of people in the GDT were calling for Frazier to be fired. I think if that were to happen then Eric Washington is the likely replacement and that would be a downgrade. Tackling is a problem but I’m not convinced a change at DC fixes that.

I think his called run plays can be too predictable and it seems like wasted plays after the defense just pins their ears back because they know what’s coming. It also seems like there are too many long developing routes and we try and push it downfield too often. The play calling in the 3rd quarter tonight was certainly frustrating.

He’s had lots of concussions in his career. Hope he’s okay
