This is McD’s fault somehow. Or should I be more worried about Elam?- 181 replies

Great idea. Move Josh to OG while we’re at it.

Highly anticipating today’s injury report. Hopefully Oliver and Phillips are 100% and ready to go.

Orlovsky: Bills have become one of best screen teams

WR screens seem to be good but RB and TE screens don’t seem as effective. -
Allen is the Bills only short yardage option

Ideally, one of our first two picks in the draft is a massive mauler for the OL. -
Oof I don’t know about that.

Milano is still cuter no matter who you ask or what metric you use.
-
In that time span: Edmunds - 65 games played Milano - 58 games played So with 7 more games, Edmunds still lacks the productivity of Milano. Thanks for clearing that up.
-
That’s not even the point I was making. My entire point is that Edmunds isn’t worth top LB money because he doesn’t make enough big plays to consistently impact games. Frazier made it a point to say that he wants to see more splash plays from him too. Frazier I’m sure likes Edmunds and appreciates what he does for his defense. He also speaks very highly of a lot of players, mediocre ones included.
-
I didn’t say he gambled on his TD production remaining the same with the same usage.
-
Or maybe Edmunds isn’t as good as you think he is? Leslie Frazier publicly stated he wants to see Edmunds make more splash plays. Maybe he’s wrong and just doesn’t understand the defense and what Edmunds does on the field?
-
So you’re correlating a team stat to the individual success of one player? Attributing the success of the pass defense to our MLB is odd to say the least. You’re making pretty weak arguments possible.
-
Good players consistently make plays that we can noticeably see. Your argument basically is “He does a really good job impacting the game. You can’t see it but just trust me.”
-
I said at the time that if Knox’s usage increases then the contract becomes a bargain. If we just get more of the same but less TDs then it’s a garbage deal. Beane gambled that the TD production would stay the same but the receptions and yards would increase. So far it’s been the opposite.

Every single team in the league has a RB of Moss’ caliber on their practice squad. There’s nothing special about him. He’s a fringe NFL player at best really.
-
What a weird comparison to try and make. Our golden boy QB is literally one of the best players in the league who consistently makes elite, game changing plays. You live with the occasional mistake because you know he’s going to be great the vast majority of the time. Edmunds is just there and isn’t anywhere close to having that kind of impact.
-
I’ll say it every week: Give him 12-15 carries a game, a handful of targets, and keep Zach Moss the hell off of my tv screen.

Legend also has it that EJ Manuel is still a rookie because he‘s barely started a full seasons worth of games.
-
I’d hate paying him top LB money. His comp would probably be Fred Werner who got $95mil. I’d vomit. I think he’s reached his ceiling and I don’t care how old he is. I’d let him walk.
-
Likely going to see a lot of 2 high safeties. I’d like to see us actually test them deep if possible.
-
$6mil cap hit this season and $25mil next year. In other words, it isn’t happening.
-
Nothing confusing at all about Hodgins not being on the 53. He’s not that good and doesn’t play ST. Mystery solved.
-
Down the road does nothing for us right now. If he’s actually healthy and we are still having injury issues at WR then sure.
-
OBJ isn’t healthy.
-
No, it’s not time to look at Hodgins. He’s a fringe NFL player who struggles getting separation. He’s where he should be. Im not worried about Gabe.
