Theres the dagger!!
-
IS the Jags oline that good ? why no blitzs on Bortles???
-
Steelers pass D is breaking down to Blake Bortles no less!! Huge play to a wide open guy.
-
A little late on the body slam on Big Ben. Inept refs not even slightly aware.
-
To Quote Dennis Green, the Jags were who we thought they were.........and we let em off the damn hook!!! I think the Bills just match up better to the Jags than the Steelers do. The Bills still should have had that game with even the slightest effort by TT.
-
OMG I think Bortles just made the throw his life and won this game
-
Why is 4th and 1 the hardest call in the NFL????. Why does nobody but the Pats sneak it!! ????
-
Big Stop for the Jags D. relieves the pressure for now.
-
Need the Steelers to tie this then you will the smile come off Bortles and the INT machine rear its ugly head!!
-
Wow when Bortles cannot escape and run and is forced to throw he sucks!! what a shocker.
-
no spy on Bortles wtf Steelers!!
-
The Jags now have to rely on the run game to keep pounding and the plan B is Bortles. Better continue the game of your life Fournette!!
-
another superb throw by Big Ben wow
-
wow the Jags get hosed by bogus Unsportsmanlike pen

GDT: Titans vs. Patriots at 8:15 PM on CBS

They were down 14 pts they had to get back in the game quick before the half. They started passing more and running less. With each series their playcalling became more desperate and more poorly thought out. The last Jags series of the half was indicative of this. Hurried poor decisions by coaches and players. The last thing that the Titans wanted to do was to have Mariota win the game for them by passing because of his penchant for taking sacks. This is exactly what transpired. There's no way this was their original game plan. -

It wasn't a blowout when the PI call on the Titans happened or the when the offside happened. However it was game changing because as I clearly pointed out the Titans abandoned the game plan after the resulting Pats TD and momentum swing. I don't think the Titans win this game anyway but whatever chance they had starts to evaporate quickly right at that point due to the refs feeling the need to get overly involved in the game. I'd much rather the refs call less and put the flags away than have them influence the outcome with marginal, bad or phantom calls. -
I get what the OP is saying. The commentators constant love in with all things Patriots like Kraft (the greatest owner and philanthropist, possibly greatest human ever), BB (the greatest coach and most misunderstood genius) and Brady (GOAT QB etc etc etc) is now beyond nauseating. Even the fact that Romo has started to call Brady "Tom" just like the fawning of Dan Dierdorf for all those years is disturbing. We've also had to endure this crap for 17 years now. Way more than any fan can stand. Add to this the obvious bias towards the Pats by the officials . Yes I can understand wanting not to watch. But for me its the opposite. I will still keep watching all the games even the Pats ones not because of all the nauseating things but for the possibility of those golden moments when some cosmic justice prevails: the Ravens 2009 crushing of the Pats, the 2 Giants SB victories, the Broncos smothering of the Pats 2 years ago. Just the possibility of seeing Brady's comeuppance or a humiliating loss is enough for me to tune in. The bottom line is this, we are so far into this Pats dynasty that it has to be close to the end. One devastating hit on Brady and it will be over. He is on borrowed time right now and he cannot maintain this forever. I sure as hell want to tune in to see this juggernaut derailed when it happens.

No My point was that the Titans are so crap that all it took was 2 bad calls (and yes they were blatantly bad) to swing this game. The simple fact is the Titans were losing 14-7 and just had a big play into Pats territory. The play was robbed from them by the bogus PI call. They punt and the Pats are held and then the bogus offsides vs the Titans D. Pats swung the momentum on the gut punch penalty to drive down the field and get a 3rd TD (after another very soft PI penalty call vs Gronk) and are up 21-7. The game is effectively over at that point. You think the low scoring Titans offense is going to come back from 14 pts down? are they going to continue to use their offensive game plan or throw that out the window and play catch up? which is EXACTLY what they did. They panicked and the whole game plan fell apart. What game were you watching if you actually think that those penalties weren't crucial to the outcome of the game? I hate the Pats too but that observation is neither bias or wrong. -
For the 24th consecutive season...

I wanted the Falcons to redeem themselves but they were a huge disappointment almost all year. Didn't deserve to get back there and their coach is an idiot. Still amazing that the Bills made it to 4 straight SBs and even more amazing somehow choked in them all. -

Very sad that 2 bogus penalties decided this game. The soft Offensive PI on the Titans and the false start (where they Pats centre moved). In the end though the Titans are crap and seemed to fold prematurely after their big O linemen went down. Had the Titans scored on the drive they got PI on it might have been a game but since then it has been a disaster for the them. Very poor play calling by the Titans as well. Even the mighty Lebeau looks demoralized and beaten on the D side. wow Gronk is a full 2ft taller than that chick interviewing him. -

The Pats should have snuck Gronk into the end zone before the kick and had him alley oop it through!! The refs would be too distracted like WWE refs to notice!! -

SNEAK THE DAMN BALL. Is that a gadget play or something or just too a little to smart for coaches? -

What kills me is that this must be a premium officials crew or the "best of the best" to get a playoff game. And yet they look completely inept at what they are doing. They cant seem to understand what a penalty is and what isn't. holy crap this is embarassing -
