Robert Foster = total non factor
Livinginthepast replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It looked to me like Foster had one target last night. Which was an overthrown long bomb to the end zone where he was double covered. He hasn't been targeted by Josh and he rarely gets a chance on the offense. In fact before last nights game he had only had 13 targets all year. Josh just doesn't look for him or he just isn't used at all. Daboll isn't even bothering to use him and if the play is to him he is usually well covered. The one advantage Duke has over him isn't height (they are almost the same height) but 25lbs of weight. I would like to see both of them used next week (along with Yeldon) and Brown, Singletary and Beasley rested. I think that would be an intelligent personnel decision. But as many people say on here, how dare anyone question the coaches and their personnel decisions because fans know nothing. -
The bottom line is we played scared against them and it once again looked like we didn't prepare and they were in our heads. Brady has looked the worse he has ever this season and yet once again vs the Bills he is as elusive as Lamar Jackson and accurate when he needs to be. We weren't getting even close to him. He even tempted fate and blocked Trey white downfield. As an aside ( I cant believe that Trey didn't take him out and forget about the ball carrier when he saw him). When we should have gone for the kill shot we got conservative because Daboll is just too clever for his own good. And when we really needed a clutch pass from Josh he sailed it to Knox in the end zone. I'm sick of all of these coaches in the past 20 years never playing balls out vs the Pats. I'm sick of them being easily duped by whatever the Pats do. Most of all I'm sick of them (current regime included) of not learning their lessons in these losses and making the same mistakes. No fan of any sports team should have to endure what the Bills have against New England in the past 20 years. Its beyond endurance!

The play of the game ended up being the Josh run at 17-13 where he was close to the first down marker and they marked him short. Then they didn't really get a good look at the play and just rushed the punt team on. I know it was in our own half. But we go for it there or challenge the spot and get it and its a totally different game.
