  1. Are you seriously arguing that EJ didn't control that throw in such a way that he knew the outcome before Sammy tore those ligaments and damn near lost his foot?? Do you even watch games? EJ purposefully threw it low and away (from his baseball days) and knew Sammy would strain himself trying to catch it. Thank God for Sammy and his agility and athleticism. Now he's sidelined with an injury thanks to EJ...just like Percy, Shady, Goodwin and Kyle Williams. Great job EJ!!!... your reckless decision making is killing our our team.
  2. We all know these are trained professionals. EJ has the ability to hit a pumpkin on a fence post at 50 yds. Are you seriously telling me EJ's throw was not intentionally low and away in effort to injure Sammy?? I can understand why EJ was upset (with Sammy's comments earlier in the week), but to purposefully cause Sammy to roll an ankle and miss games is not sportmanlike. Reckless throwing on his part.
  3. The good old days. Love it.
  4. Yep. Everyone using pick plays now just like the Pats. BUT the Pats typically are allowed to make contact 10-15 yds down the field...not just within one yard. Wow. That was the easiest INT/Strip I ever saw. Giants moved the ball well. Nice mix of run to set up pass. Eli looks off his WR then comes back. Makes it look so easy.
  5. Eli cares for his WR's. EJ purposefully injures his team mates.
  6. I guess OBJ will get his 10 touches. He scored and didn't sprain his knee. Weird.
  7. Kyle (after Kyle Williams) and Michael (after Michael Moore??). Congrats!!!
  8. Justin Vaughan. 2nd cousin of Chas Rhinegold. Just heard it announced on WGR earler today so it must be recent. And this is my first "Breaking Story" so pardon my enthusiasm.
  9. Goodbye Justin. We hardly knew ya'.
  10. It's pretty clear that EJ didn't like Sammy's announcement the other day "Give me 10 targets...it makes me look bad". EJ did what any other competitor would do...throw it low and away and watch Sammy's ankle buckle. EJ has a sweet smile but a dark, dark side.
  11. I think you are being trolled. EJ's true intentions are as plain as the nose on his face.
  12. Yes, I watch games. I see Rodgers hit his receivers in stride. I see Brady do the same. Because they have talented receivers. EJ's throw to Sammy while running to his right was a reckless display of athleticism causing injury to our franschise WR. He should actually be fined. Did you even watch Ron Brooks get a flag for taunting. EJ even has the special teams players thinking he is invincible. He causes physical injuries and mental lapses. Reckless I say...reckless.
  13. Somewhat surprised Hogan still has legs left and remains un-concussed following that attempt downfield yesterday. EJ is gonna kill what little WR talent we have left.
  14. The OP forgot to mention that EJ actually caused Sammy Watkins to injure his ankle yesterday with that horrible, horrible TD throw. How convenient that he left that little morsel out. EJ injures his own teammates.
  15. I saw #1 last night and thought the same exact thing.
  16. I think the All22 film will show him wide open near the tunnel.
  17. 13-3 until I hear otherwise.
  18. Should I share this? I really don't want to "like" it. Is there a "Meh" button?
  19. This has the potential to be a 100 page thread. It mixes Fitzy with EJ vs. TT, and Buddy Nix and Whaley. It's like a well balanced meal.
  20. In re. Sammy - I like the kid a lot and he has some maturing to do. There is no question he is a talent. He will get better but I'm afraid he'll never be an upper echelon receiver until TT recognizes him quicker and/or trusts that he will be open when he is momentarily covered (i.e. trusts that Sammy will get to the spot as planned and win the battle). As for his propensity for injury (or pain tolerance), if this ankle sprain truly prevented him from playing in the second half we'll never know. That is a purely subjective standard (we can't scan his ankle and measure the pain). I guess I am guilty of thinking all WR's and TE's are the hardened, "I gotta get back in there and play" types. Not sure any of you youngsters remember the Miami San Diego playoff game from the 80's. It was a night game and I personally thought it was one of the best games ever played. Kellen Winslow had to be helped off the field by his teammates at the end because he was literally spent, bruised, knocked around all night. It's unfair to compare Sammy to that standard, but I was hoping he would have taped the ankle and gone back in.
  21. That should't take long. lol
