  1. Yeah...Free Fallin' is pretty spot on.
  2. Yeah, that's a real slap. lol
  3. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/14037879/sammy-watkins-buffalo-bills-apologizes-insulting-online-commenters Sammy: "I just read back on my comments like, 'Nah, that don't sound right,'" Watkins said Monday. "I shouldn't have sent that because it not only affected the fans, just people in general that are working hard jobs every day, day to day, taking care of their kids, every job is the same. You wake up in the morning and go to work, clock the eight hours, so my job is the same as anybody else." Rex: "I just had a discussion with him. I talked with him," Ryan said. "And he's not proud of his thing. And I can understand why the fans would be upset with him. We were all upset with him. It doesn't represent who he is."
  4. I'll take the Colts at 5-11. Even though they have a franchise QB in Luck, they are not playing as a team. No run game. Bad Defense. Luck doesn't deserve to play with those scrubs.
  5. Yep, that's why I called it "Bye Week Muscles"....had we pummeled the Jags and showed some consistency in defense over the past four weeks, I would be happy with these various game scores. But when we continuously **** the bed with mediocre play, I would approach the Dolphins and Jets as Superbowl freaking champs if I was Rex. Waiting for other teams to "help us" make the playoffs is a sure sign of mediocrity.
  6. Jason Whitten would beg to differ.
  7. I love the "Bye Week Muscles" on this board. A few crappy and hapless teams lose and suddenly it makes our team look less hapless and crappy.
  8. "Expecting to win" and "confidence" is essential in a coach and players feed off it. But some of us have a quiet confidence that, in the event of a win or success in general, makes people take notice. Others are more pronounced in their confidence and when they win, it's kinda of "meh" but when they lose, everyone takes notice. I know Rex can't change his stripes, but I hope to see a more internal confidence from him and his players. Even if the D line gets 10 sacks against Tanneyhill, I'd love to see them give a solid interview and move on to the next game.
  9. I thought the Jags were a pushover....oh wait.
  10. Yeah...our D line is the ultimate myth.
  11. Not sure why he sent the whole O line out as captains for the Jags game....oh yeah, it was to mock Marrone. Turned out great Rex. Let's put IK out there just for laughs instead of picking out real leaders on our team as captains.
  12. There's no myth...just observation. It would have been more palatable for us to lose to the Pats than for us to lose and still wonder why Rex didn't know Dion Lewis' name...after all, he scored a TD against our vaunted defense. The same defense that was supposed to go from 4th to 1st in the NFL. No myths.
  13. Would rather lose without fanfare than have to lose AND take foot out of mouth every other week. If Geno brings the Jets back to win I am not feeling good about our chances. Neither Geno or Fitz are pushovers despite popular belief.
  14. Never saw a hit like that on a QB. Give Geno credit...got right up.
  15. I disagree. Jerking around with goofy comments or sending IK out a a Captain would show how Rex doesn't take the game seriously. He's hoping to grab a headline. Win the game and move on without any theatrics. Wowwwwww!!! Geno got rocked!!!
  16. He looks like an absolute ass when we end up losing. As a result, as Sammy would say "He's making me look bad"
  17. Here's hoping Rex doesn't pull some dumb ass taunting bullchit like sending IK out as a captain or make dumb comments the week before.
  18. Not sure why everyone is so confident we can beat the Jets with Geno as opposed to the Jets with Fitz...I don't like our chances against the Jets with Namath. I suppose I'd rather play against Geno than Fitz but it sure looks like Geno has improved a bit.
  19. That long run by Jones in the Jets game along the sideline reminded me of.....ohhhh, what was it again?
  20. We actually went down to Ithaca Commons to check it out and it was packed. A lot of grown men and women dressed as wizards, etc. Kind of interesting in a weird, anime type of way.
  21. Ithaca....but it felt like Port-land.
  22. Happy Birthday mead...hope you get lots of treats!
