  1. Didn't know we had grammer police in here. My theory still holds water. Take a look a the schedules for the Texans, the Jets, the Steelers and the Chiefs and you'll see that all their games were scheduled at times when their rosters were relatively healthy ORRRRRR when they were playing teams semenated by injuries. Have another look and you'll see when we played passhappy teams we were conveniently lacking Aaron Williams and McKelvin (so those games were put in those weeks when we were weak on pass D). The NFL loves Bowles, Reid, etc....they hate us and they definitely hate Rex. That's why they set us up to fail.
  2. So let me get this straight...it was just a coincidence that the NFL scheduled us to play Kansas City (central time zone) when we were short Kyle Williams and Mario Williams (two guys that we needed to beef up our D line)?? Because if that is your theory then I have some Pet Rocks you can give to your kids for Christmas.
  3. OK, this is one of my favorite veggies: toss them in a gallon size Ziploc with olive oil, chopped garlic, romano cheese and salt/pepper. Shake for a little bit (the bag.... not your ass). Let sit. After an hour, lay them on a baking sheet and bake for about 30 mins at 350 degrees...turn and move around halfway (the sprouts...not your significant other). Wait until they are a little charred on the outsides. Put them on your plate with a dash of vinegar. Heavenly.
  4. There's countless other examples...some more gregarious than those sighted above.
  5. OK, I'm at wits end with the guys who put together the NFL schedule. Usually we are on the short end of the stick in terms of playing teams on extra days rest or coming off a bye. Now they pulled another fast one. Gronk is injured, Amendola is injured and Jamie Collins is still injured....and guess what? They have to play Houston. The NFL office knew the Pats would be thin and purposefully put Houston and their poster boy JJ Watt at the end of the year. Add to that the Pats now get the Eagles at home in Foxboro...let's just call that another Bye week for NE. Next example, Ryan Fitzpatrick: The guy tears a ligament in his hand, plays against us (and yes, I know, we won) but they put his more important conference games at the end of the year when they knew he'd be healthy....coincidence? I think not. Also, they knew we would have to play in KC to secure a wildcard birth...so what did they do? They scheduled us toward the end of the season when Kyle Williams would be banged up, along with other integral parts of our team. The end result - loss. And don't tell me Shula doesn't still pull some weight in the NFL front office!! The Dolphins get the mighty Ravens at home this week....Flacco has been the iron man of the NFL so they had to know he'd get hurt and why not put the Ravens in Miami toward the end of the year....there ya go!! Corrupt. Oh, and while we're at it...let's throw the Bills in Washington for a late season game after Kirk Cameron gets his bearings straightened out...suuuuure, why not. Typical NFL BS and hate spewing to Buffalo and the Bills. Why didn't they schedule that in September or October when the ship was almost capsized? Finally, the piece de resistance is the Steelers going to Baltimore Week 16. Ben Rothisburger was due to collapse eventually, so the NFL smart guys figured let's give him a rest and he can play the Ravens for a little break. There's our last Wildcard spot going to the Rooney boys because does anyone seriously doubt the Steelers will have a problem with that train wreck in Baltimore? Thanks again NFL Schedulers. Just had to vent
  6. Excellent news CBF!! Congrats to you and wife!
  7. Just throwing this out there, but do you guys think it's too early to grab another punter in rounds 3 or 4?? just to groom him behind Schmitt for a few years.
  8. Pure craziness after a loss. Whaly challenged the wrong plays today and neglected to challenge Hogan's catch.
  9. bull ****, this is mead's job to win. C'mon mead....hurry.
  10. Ed Hochuli and crew. Really bad call on a defensive hold (Porter tapped him after five yds...really minor). Led to Eddy Lacy run with Reggie Cobb holding a Bears jersey clear as day...no flag. Then Eddy Lacy releases ball before crossing goal line (from my perspective it looked early) but TD stands. I love the Packers but I have a feeling the refs will be assuring a Packer win on Brett Favre day.
  11. Why would you say that? It seems la cosa nostra has quite the "underground" organization and numbers. One would think ISIS would be hit quick from all different angles
  12. I saw where it said "coordinate events" and "works well alone or as a team" and immediately thought.......Mead.
  13. So he has good speed, is tall, and can jump for the ball over shorter fellas (has good ball skills)? Maybe he is ready for a try at CB after all.
  14. Congrats!! Have fun.
  15. Even though he "gave himself up"...he wasn't sliding backwards so they should have given him the first down and stopped the clock. Maybe I'm not interpreting the new rule correctly. Can someone help me out?
  16. He's on a crusade to try and prove we are mediocre. Let him go.
  17. Dual Threat QB's ranked (2014-2015) based on advanced stats: 1.Russ Wilson 2.Cam Newton 3.Tyrod Taylor 4.Bridgewater 5.Kyle Orton 6.Jameis Winston ... ... ... 18. EJ Manuel Yes, in a heartbeat.
  18. Yeah, I see your point, but trying telling that to him. Guy is definitely a "one size fits all" with his comments.
  19. Seriously? You were one of the first ones to run EJ out of town. Stay consistent would ya?
  20. That's funny, take a look at our record. Our record says who we are. Nice try though.
