  1. Unfortunately, Josh Allen may have priced them out of adding FA over a 3rd round pick. That's the thing with having a franchise QB getting paid like one...hitting on your top 100 picks is a must, those guys have to be able to start at some point in their rookie deals
  2. I saw a rookie getting his feet wet. The Bills defense is one of the highest demanding defenses from LBs.
  3. He's an MVP caliber QB at 25 and no one is even talking to him, allegedly? That's not normal. They're making an object lesson of him
  4. I don't know why he isn't wanting an agent. But I can't sit here and claim maturity issues over it when all the evidence I have from the prior 4 years tells me the opposite. I also have no problem with these guys trying to maximize their own value and income. So many of these guys come from poor or troubles backgrounds, and every extra million is that much more generational wealth so that his kids and grandkids won't have to go through what he and his family did growing up. Also think he should be cheered for not playing injured, when there's a huge risk for his long term viability. We ask enough of these players, we don't need to be asking that of them
  5. There's a huge collusion whiff coming from LJ and the Owners that has nothing to do with race, and everything to do with that insanely stupid contract the Browns paid for Watson. The NFL Owners believe building on that contract would break the Salary Cap as its currently structured - they're probably not wrong either - but if they are collectively black balling Lamar because they don't want to pay any QB more than what Watson got, that's really unfair to LJ, who's done nothing but earn being a top 5 QB, after being told he should be a WR coming into the draft. Like, LJ is the kind of person you WANT being the face of the league. Young, Charismatic, the local population absolutely loves him as a human being, philanthropic minded, personable, funny, and a truly special athlete and QB. They're picking on the wrong dude here. He's essentially the opposite of Jay Cutler
  6. Also one of the highest rated QBs from inside the pocket last season without a real NFL WR Corps. Dude is elite. Also, where are the maturity issues? Everything I've read about him is that he is one of the best dudes in the league as a star
  7. Thing is, if Long is the LB, then the Bills would have to go to a real 4-3 because they wouldn't have two backers who can go sideline to sideline and they have to play Long as much as they'd be paying him, and then add another slot to go Dime as your base pass package, because they would only have 1 backer who's reliable in coverage If anything, I'd rather just toss Bernard into the fire as the Will then pay for someone like Long
  8. I saw that from Sal, and tell Sal the Bills need 3 down backers against modern offenses. I'm not even sure down hill thumpers even exist anymore
  9. Gonna keep on hammering the Jerry Jeudy drum
  10. I think Milano - on the wrong side of 30 - might be better protected at the Mike, and I think Bills will probably adjust the scheme rather than trying to replicate what Edmunds brought - which is impossible. So you can ask Milano to play in a smaller box on typical down/distance, have the athletic Bernard use his speed to play in space with less coverage responsibilities.
  11. We're in D2 of the unofficial FA period. They will absolutely add someone to compete with Brown at RT He might be it, as money spent on MLB when you can move Milano there, and add a younger player to play the Will, is a big opportunity cost.
  12. Oh and a thought on WR, my desire isn't to upgrade Davis, as much as it is to find an elite option at the slot, which will exponentially make the offense better
  13. Neither GM nor Coach exactly made him a starter heading into Next season. I think they basically called him a rising prospect, which for someone who's going into his 3rd year as a starter, isn't the most ringing endorsement. He's competing for his job
  14. Keep in mind if the JEts add Rodgers, they likely have the potential for a top end offense with Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall in there. The Bills can not stand pat on offense. They need to add both a RB and WR IMO, to keep up with the Jets and Phins who both will have elite Ds
  15. That;s not available in the FA market. It's actually a rather underwhelming FA Market. What I would rather do is send a 2nd and 4th over to Denver for Jerry Jeudy and draft whatever RT is available in the first
  16. The Bills have little money invested into the RB spot, and the one high end talent they have is someone who tops out at 15-20 touches a game both running and passing. So yes, Sanders is someone they'd want to invest in, now that they've upgraded their IOL. They need a RT ujpgrade, and if they get that, it probably elevates the OLine to well above average.
  17. I can't see the Eagles spending that much cap space on two relatively premier FA RBs They were already over the cap, so I'm not sure that money was "freed up". But with the restructures and such they probably have ~ 35M in space. They ain't done
  18. Eagles just landed Rashad Penny, they should run not walk to add Miles Sanders
  19. Bumping this. There’s a ton of potential with this defense by running it back and getting a little faster in the secondary, and getting a healthy Von Miller back. Really need to get the DC hire right, as I think they need someone who has experience running a 2 backer system if the Bills fan retain Edmunds - which can be a multiple front D so don’t necessarily have to stick to a 4-3 over a 3-4
