  1. I'm not sure about this. In Carolina, KB pretty much fell to a WR3 behind Funchess and Greg Olsen. It doesn't appear that letting KB go for a 3rd round pick was a difficult one for Carolina.
  2. Yes, Troy, let's all just sit back and enjoy Brady playing while he's still an active player
  3. Very well, and you're seeing the results of that. I'm not saying to get problem children like Dez Bryant, but taking a chance on someone like Josh Gordon would be a positive.
  4. No, probably not. But they get that, somehow.
  5. Ask Daboll and McDermott, see what their answer is. Probably something along the line of "Process..."
  6. They're all behind Chris Collinsworth, who is first to participate.
  7. Bills aren't the only team with bad receivers. Colts are in strong competition with the Bills in that dept.
  8. Couldn't have happened to a bigger d-bag than Gronk
  9. Hogan might be available soon if he keeps that up
  10. Colts were saying that the Pats vs Colts rivalry is back...sure. 24-3 at half time says nope, not a chance.
  11. I doubt Beane will want to part with any 2019 draft picks, even for a position of need. It would be nice if Reggie McKenzie let Amari Cooper go for cheap as a "screw you" to Gruden, but Gruden will probably have the final say in the deal, anyway.
  12. Is the bolded part actually true? If so, Kerley really shot himself in the foot. I haven't seen him being signed anywhere after getting a work out with NE about a week ago.
  13. Doesn't matter if I fumble it, you all won't score anyway.
  14. And in other news, Manish Mehta still misses Rex Ryan. I wish the Jets would hire him back so they'll suck forever.
  15. It might be a little early for this assessment. Allen has the physical tools, which he proved in the Vikings game. I'm in agreement with those that feel the development issues are on coaching, where the coaches should be helping Josh read what the defense is giving him and identifying potential blitz formations. Daboll has mentioned that most of the sacks Allen has taken were not on the OLine; assuming this is true, I want to know what Daboll is doing to help Allen identify blitzes. It doesn't appear to be much.
  16. If Keenum wasn't Keenum, the pass to D Thomas would have been a TD and Broncos win
  17. If Tyrod was still here, we wouldn't have Allen. We used the Tyrod trade to move up. I remember Beane (I believe) comment that AJ wasn't what they thought he was. You might have seen Allen take over from AJ.
  18. Yeah, it's nice when you have that luxury. Brady behind Bledsoe Rodgers behind Favre Mahomes behind Alex Smith And for the best part...Josh Allen behind Nate Peterman, who is himself essentially a rookie in his development. Josh Allen starting was only a matter of time, it's just that the time part was less than what McD wanted. I'm not convinced that AJ McCarron would have been that much better.
  19. If the OLine can't block consistently, who is that on, the OC or the OLine coach? If the receivers can't get open in their routes, is that on the OC or WR coach? Why does the defense seem to play timidly against better QBs, is that on Frazier with McD's blessing? My fear is that McD believes so strongly in his buddy network and coaches he hires, he won't fire them if they don't change what they're currently doing to something that suits what they have as far as personnel. Maybe I'm wrong about this, and I hope so. The opposing defenses seem to be giving our offense the longer routes, occupying the LOS which stops the run, and sending DB blitzes that Allen can't diagnose; they know all of this is a challenge for a rookie QB. Hopefully Allen starts to see some of these tactics and starts to audible and counteract; it will take a little more time, losses, and pain.
