I googled Bills Jersey and got some responses that showed a white throwback spiller jersey for as low as 40 bucks plus 20 bucks for shipping. It looks a little suspect to me but you can judge for yourself. The jersey looks really awesome so you can check it for yourself. I'll prob go the Laux route for a jersey unless I can find one that 'falls off a truck'

Gailey was optimistic starting safety Jairus Byrd will play after missing nearly a month after having groin surgery. "He was out there and moved around really well today at practice. It's an improvement over yesterday," Gailey said. Byrd earned a Pro Bowl selection as a rookie last year after finishing tied for the NFL lead with nine interceptions. I take the optimism as meaning he is going to play but I am optimistic by nature...who knows until Sunday though Coach Chan Gailey declined to say which foot Mitchell injured, or to release details except to say he was hurt in practice a day earlier and is "doubtful" to play. Mitchell was having tests to determine what Gailey called a "short-term and long-term" prognosis, an indication the injury could be severe. I suppose I busted out the old 'Jump to Conclusions' Mat a little prematurely but 'doubtful' at this point in the week is usually a pretty solid indication that he is not going to play.

In terms of play by play, Dick Enberg is the Gold Standard...Gus Johnson is a very solid one as well...Starting to really enjoy Kevin Harlan. Very intense voice

I say crazy props for preserving the Billy Brooks jersey! That is definitely acceptable. You may have to battle with a few wise-a$$ young fans who think you put your own name on it but as CSNY told us, "Teach your Children Well..." Antowain Smith is a tough call. Props again for preserving it and he didn't leave here on bad terms from what I remember. I believe we cut him. Need confirmation on that but the fact remains that he went to the Pats and won a Super Bowl with them. I'm going to say on the Antowain because of that. Go with the Billy Brooks ***I would like to add that college jersies of current players are acceptable as well i.e. a Spiller Clemson jersey although it may be Purple and Orange. Just can't have too many and it has to be a relevant player***

Sunday is the opener and the lots at the Ralph will be flooded with jersey-clad Buffalo-maniacs! I figured this would be the perfect time to discuss this topic. This has been a hotly debated issue since the advent of jersey sales. Please give me your opinion on what is an aceptable jersey to wear. MY OPINION: CAN WEAR Obviously you can wear a jersey of a current player. You can wear a jersey of a legendary ex-player or something that has cache, i.e. my wife has a John Tucker jersey. Not exactly a Sabres legend but good enough to wear the jersey. A Don Beebe jersey is acceptable for the Bills as well. CANNOT WEAR Players who left in disgrace, i.e. NO MORE MCGAHEE JERSIES!!!! Players on teams not playing. No McNABB JERSIES!!!! You deserve all the ridicule if you wear one and no one should defend you unless youre six years old. Add in whatever you feel is acceptable/unacceptable!!! GO BILLS!!!!

I believe it was a Buddhist Prodigy who exclaimed that, "YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME!!!" I have to agree with him there. Every game is a must win.
