    Nooooo. He's running laterally on that throw. Almost rolling out. This is the running/falling backwards throw.

    Yup. I hate to say it but the whole, "falling backwards, stiff-arm throw" seems to be a signature play of Allen. Seen it too many times.

    The QB draw during the 2 minute drill was a head scratcher. I don’t mind it occasionally, as a change of pace but needs to come at the right time.

    But the QB draw was in the first half... this was the second half. Had nothing to do with it. Take the sack. Throw the intentional grounding. I don’t care which, DON’T attempt hero ball up 14-0.

    Does it though? It was 14-0, there was no reason to hero ball it at that point. Live to fight another day. It completely changed the dynamic of the game. He even cam out after that and didn’t do much. It was only after the Bills were behind that he sprung into action. Can’t have that. Gotta put bad teams away.

    True. And I would have preferred that with his second attempt. At 14-0, he didn’t need to attempt a complete pass and intentional grounding probably keeps this game a lot less close.

    Uh, he threw the interception and come out rattled. Same as Jets game. It’s still a couple series before he settles back down. You could see him on the sideline upset.

    I didn’t mind those plays as he wasn’t going backwards as much. It’s the ones were he stiff arms or is fighting off a tackle and “throws it away.” Ive seen it quite a few times, just reels of hero ball.

    I get that, and they were sort of the same but to my eye not quite. He’s rolling instead of going backwards. The intentional grounding and interception were identical plays. And he had a similar play in preseason. Just needs to learn to throw it out of bounds. I’d rather an intentional grounding than a turnover. Live to fight another day!

    My problem with Josh is he does the, stiff arm fall back 5-10 yards and still attempt a throw. Hero ball. He needs to cut that out. It doesn’t work. It hasn’t worked. And he continues to do it.

    Going to be a C from me. Similar to the Jets game but in reverse of half’s. He lets the mistakes get to his head, needs to shake them off. Had a brilliant first half and I even said in the game day thread, his 7 qtrs of football up to that point, he was on fire. Then things got weird. Shake it off and come back next week.

    I’m not buying that. The Bills aren’t going with RB by committee. Gore is the lead back. Shady could have been that guy. Easily. And Gore in relief. The problem is the touches Motor would have seen. But injuries happen... case in point.

    I don’t disagree, just the writing was on the wall with Yeldon, in preseason... Heck I probably wouldn’t have had a problem if they had picked someone else besides Yeldonz

    No one but who’s to say Singletary is good. We have 2 games and a handful of carries. We know Shady/Gore is good. We know Yeldon isn’t good... so Bills roll into the season with Gore??/Motor?/Yeldon?? and is there’s an injury...

    That’s the problem tho. Gordon/Shady/Motor is a good combo. The Bills got rid of Shady to save money. If there’s an injury you have nice depth. Yeldon isn’t nice depth and it shines the spotlight on getting rid of Shady. Not saying Gore isn’t nice to have but the depth is awful and injuries happen.

    Except it isn’t a Gore to McCoy comparison. It’s a McCoy/Gore/Singletary to Gore/Singletary/Yeldon comparison. By which, Yeldon shouldn’t be on an NFL roster and he showed why today. That depth almost cost the Bills. He showed why multiple time’s in preseason too. Try again bro.
