  1. It's more his choice to do that story, with a known outcome. It was new but not new if you get what I'm saying. The Vadar story itself isn't bad just thought it was a bit of a cop out for Lucas to chose to do that instead of creating new story line.
  2. Facts thus far: Aaron Kromer was arrested for battery with intent to harm. Alleged events: Kromer confronts 3 minors over beach chairs. Kromer goes off the rails throws fishing poles in water. Kromer punches one of the minors in the face. Kromer says "I'll kill your family if you tell the police". All of the alleged events have come from the 3 minors.
  3. While I agree the story will be important, that's not what bothered me about the last 3 movies. The story was fine, albeit one everyone kind of already knew. What bothered me was: 1. Acting. It was bad, very bad. I'm not sure Lucas knows how to get the best from his actors or maybe he just picks the worst takes. 2. CGI. Lucas actually used more live action than some people are aware but he still used way too much, especially on characters. 3. Story. While I think learning the genesis of Darth Vadar is nice, it wasn't really a "new" story, so what was there to get excited about? In the end, Abrams won't be able to please everyone. People will be upset with something. I'm just hoping the acting is good, he doesn't overuse the CGI and the story is exciting.
  4. The ole' guilty before given a chance to hear the other side of the story.
  5. Of course it couldn't have happened at a better time when everyone's just waiting for anything football and reporters have nothing to tweet/write about.
  6. In Florida, battery doesn't even have to be direct contact with a person. It can be as simple as grabbing someone's bag.
  7. A minor who was apparently doing something at 1am.
  8. @RapSheet: Per Walton Cty Sheriffs Corey Bobridnia, Aaron Kromers arrest for assault & battery was for a physical altercation with his neighbors son. Wonder how old the son is... Can't be too young if the arrest happened at 1:39 in the morning.
  9. That was my thought too plus no bond required.
  10. Eh, I still haven't finished season 3... It lost its spark, IMO. I won't give anything away because the first 2 seasons are very good... But I think they could/should have ended it there.
  11. What makes him an "exceptional" TE? Is it his one season where he had 80 receptions and 917 yards and 7 TDs? Well, as I'm sure you are aware, in that same season Clay had 69 receptions 759 yards and 6 TDs, if Clay were to have as many receptions as Cameron, it's possible he could have put up the same yardage and TDs.
  12. Agreed. I always thought they should have just fined Hardy as he already sat out an entire season and was still paid.
  13. No that's not what he's saying at all. He's saying women shouldn't get free reign to punch men and have no consequences. its assault.
  14. Honestly, I don't see anything wrong with what he said. The girl swung first. He isn't saying nothing should happen to DeAndre, just that they are both at fault
  15. Oh come on, this is pretty disingenuous. Russell Wilsons highest pass attempts (452) is closer to Brady's lowest (413) and that was during Brady's 14 game season. He has never attempted less than Wilsons highest pass attempts in a full season. By his 3rd year starting Brady was averaging more than 500 pass attempts a season. He was also averaging 25+ TDs and over 3500 yards. Both more than Wilson. You can't be trying to seriously compare. This past year, Wilsons most pass attempts, his YPA was its lowest. He threw less TDs. His TD% was his lowest and his QB rating was its lowest. He threw for his most yards to date but only 120 more on 45 more attempts. All of this with increased pass attempts. Look, he is a good to very good QB. All anyone is questioning is if his pass attempts increase, as he asked to carry the team, can he mantain the level of play he's had when he doesn't come close to attempt what the elite QBs do? Last years performance could/can bring that into question.
  16. Obviously you haven't looked at these case or you would know that answer. Firstly, the San Diego incident wasn't stickem. They were caught using towels that are coated in a sticky substance and rubbing the ball with them. The towels, at the time, were completely legal to use on your hands just not to be used on the balls. The attendant who got caught doing it had no idea it wasn't legal and admitted to doing it right away. The Chargers didn't hold a press conference and tell everyone that there is no way this could be true. It happened right out in the open and the officials saw it happen. Let's look at the differences: 1. San Diego admitted the fault and cooperated. 2. They didn't attempt to hide it. Secondly, the Falcons. Again, this offence happened in complete sight of the officials. Atlanta didn't attempt to hide that fact. The ball boy was attempting to keep the balls at the same temperature as they would have been when they were inflated. The Falcons didn't hold a press conference and deny any involvement. 1. Atlanta admitted the fault and cooperated. 2. They didn't attempt to hide it. I'll ask again, what exactly is wrong about the process Rodger Goodell has chosen to take?
  17. Why stop there, why not look at Aaron Rodgers first 3 years. 7 games, 329 yards on 59 attempts, 47 yards per game, 1 TD.
  18. Nice job including Kaepernicks 2011 season... All 3 games played and 5 pass attempts.
  19. And I get that someone could pick apart the report, there were definitely some issues. JohnC's problem seems to be with Goodell. That the process was all wrong and unfair. I don't see any problem with the process at all. The fact that Brady refused to cooperate only adds to it.
  20. What part of this specific process has been wrong? A team, who has been caught previously cheating, was suspected of tampering with balls. The league decided to test the balls to see if this were true. The balls were found to be under. Goodell then commissioned a outside authority to oversee an investigation. Investigation comes back. Goodell defers to Troy Vincent so that he's not part of the punishment process. Punishment is handed out. Brady appeals. Goodell chooses to oversee appeal, which was written into the CBA. Am I missing some part where Goodell completely screwed the pooch?
