  1. Except the NFL said to Kraft, after he accepted the penalty, that it would have no bearing on Brady's punishment.
  2. The NFL told him, even after he did ALL of that, wouldn't have any bearing on Brady's decision. *headdesk*
  3. We didn't do anything wrong, that's why I've suspended 2 employee's, accepted a punishment(in hopes of influencing the commissioner of our league) and Tom destroyed his phone. Isn't that what every innocent person does?
  4. Damn.... I love the last question. "Why were Jastremski and McNally fired?" Bellichick walks off.
  5. And yet when the investigation first began, he refused to cooperate.
  6. He's being ridiculous. "The NFL has no hard evidence..." Uh yea Rob, thats because Tom Brady destroyed his cell phone.
  7. Yea but, but, but Brady says that "the NFL had ALL relevant communications from the Patriots and himself..." Haha, it's laughable.
  8. Or how about the fact that he says "the NFL has ALL relevant communication from the Patriots and himself".... I mean c'mon.
  9. That's correct. He has not provided anything from the destroyed phone. Even if he did, you'd have to question it. Cell phone companies aren't legally required to give customers old text messages back, that only comes from a subpena. So he could say whatever he wanted was on that destroyed phone.
  10. The NFLPA and Brady did hand over, 5 days before the appeal, a list of numbers that they deemed "relevant" but they were from the phone Brady had before the one he destroyed.
  11. It's in Goodell's ruling. It states that at the appeal hearing the NFLPA and Brady handed over a list of phone numbers that were said to be relevant but were from the phone that Brady had before the one he destroyed, which I believe he still has. According to the NFL he didn't hand over anything from the destroyed phone because as he admits, he couldn't get it. Edit: And as Brady arrogantly says, "the NFL had ALL relevant communication.." anyways, so why should he hand it over?
  12. Right? People are always bitching and complaining on Facebook, it's like a forum for people to post things that they think other people care about or want to hear. I think I'd pull the "show less of Tom Brady" feature. Edit: It wouldn't surprise me if he's getting some sort of endorsement fee for posting it there.
  13. There's something hilarious about the fact that he responds to all of this via Facebook.
  14. Haha, I love the comments from the Boston faithful. "Conspiracy". "Haters". "Jealous".
  15. Jesus, more Don Yee... He makes things worse for his client.
  16. @ProFootballTalk: NFL goes forum shopping with pre-emptive Brady lawsuit http://t.co/inlHyVcVwp
  17. According to Florio, it's very common, it's called "forum shopping". Basically sets up the case to be heard in the best place possible for th outcome they want.
  18. @adbrandt: NFL has asked federal court in NY to confirm Brady suspension, per @soshnick. Preemptive strike to take it away from Minn. court.
  19. I'm sure a federal judge is going to absolutely love the fact that Brady* destroyed evidence. Someone needs to talk some sense into him and he needs to just take the punishment.
  20. @ProFootballTalk: Between the bounty case, the Rice debacle, and the Wells report, I've learned not to swallow the hook until I've properly sniffed the bait. Florio backtracking big time.... this is just too good.
  21. It's weird that he's said all of this, like I said up thread he admitted that football wasn't his true passion. It was art. Art helps him deal with his ADD. He says he "just happen to be really good at football and it was fun." Then he said whenever he retired he would go back to the art world. So now he has sour grapes?
  22. So we are calling something from Florio, who by the way was wrong about the owners yesterday, clarification?
  23. So like I said, Florio being ridiculous and trying to generate clicks.
  24. Apparently NFL Now is free...
