I really don't want it to be Cassel. Give me Taylor or Manuel, I just want a guy that will grow with the team not a stop gap. Although if it is Cassel, the Bills will be picking a QB next year.

So EJ had last reps with the 1s and all that was reported was a rumbled snap. Like I said, it be nice to hear more than just things like that, I know those generate clicks but it would be nice. I wouldn't call it anti-EJ as I previously said Buscaglia was Meh Cassel as his worst QB through 2 practices. I think it's the over reporting of what he is doing wrong and not reporting on what else is going on with the other QBs.

To be fair, Buscaglia has had Cassel as his worst QB the first 2 days.

I realize the story is let's trash on EJ but it'd be nice if they could talk about what the other QBs are doing. How does Taylor look with the 1's?

I agree and I'm in the EJ is still a long shot camp but idk, I'm not going to get worked up about the 2nd day of camp or even the 7th, 8th or 9th.

So he had a bad practice. It's the 2nd one of training camp. And he picked it up towards the end of practice. Rex himself said EJ had a good practice yesterday. IMO, it's a bit early to worry. Actually what's the point in worrying, what are they going to do? There aren't very many options at QB, they are pretty much stuck with what they got for now. Edit: and I'm in the 40/60 group on if EJ will succeed. It's still a long shot but they are stuck with who they got. Just got to hope the Roman can mood the offense to whoever wins.

JoeB's first article of camp was actually pretty tame. He basically said Manuel and Cassel looked the same, which was meh. Taylor seemed to be his goat.

It just follows up really what Astro was saying. Sure maybe that 11-on-11 session wasn't great, going 0-3 or whatever it was, but that doesn't really describe his entire practice. And again, who knows what they are working on play wise.

I think he'll be getting a nice extended suspension. I'd be surprised if he doesn't end up having a positive drug test seeing as he's already in stage 2 of the NFLs drug program. Which will end up being a year suspension.

It's good that the charges have been dropped, now he can focus and follow through on his threat.

It is. He got a signing bonus, so he'll get that money now, but the new deal doesn't kick in until next year. That's why technically it's a 5 year deal with 4 years of "new" money. You are right, sort of. It's 4 more years but he'll still be playing out this year on his rookie deal then the new deal kicks in. It's an extension.
