Right and that's happening Monday. All will be explained and the media can ask as many questions as they like. The NFL mandates that NFL coaches have a press conference on Wednesday. That's what Lynn was doing. The press was told before Lynn came to the podium Doug would be speaking Monday, Buscsglia tweeted it, so why ask questions to Lynn you know you can ask Whaley on Monday?

12-28: Media Day - Anthony Lynn's Presser as HC
Wayne Cubed replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And why ask questions you already know the answer to? "Who made the decision to sit TT" That sh*t was announced like an hour after Rex was fired, you think Lynn made that decision? Obviously not. -
Dave, he's doing a press conference Monday. The press can berate him with questions then until they are blue in the face. Let's me ask this, what's stupider: sending Lynn out there for his mandatory Wednesday press conference or the press guys asking questions to Lynn they already know the answers to? We all knew when EJ was announced as the starter and that TT was going to sit it was management making that decision. Why ask Lynn?

Especially a cog to the wheel, who is currently retired and was fired from their last position(Coughlin, Polian, etc). -

So an absolutely **** football coach and a mediocre GM get you 9-7 and 8-8. What does a very good coach and mediocre GM get you? 10-6 or 11-5? Seems like that may be good enough for the playoffs. -

Actually it was a different question... It was Lynn on sitting TT "I wasn't in the room" Lynn on starting EJ "it was our decision " Slight difference, meaning it wasn't his decision to sit TT but they collectively decided to start EJ, instead of Cardale. At least that's what I took away. -
Roth: By firing Ryan, Pegulas got it half right and wrong
Wayne Cubed replied to Rico's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes those as well. This team has talent, if it didn't, they would have played like the 49ers, Browns, Rams, etc. -

Jesus I hope not. You honestly hope that an owner of a billion dollar team is persuaded by a journalist that has had no involvement or experience running a team? -

Same. It would have obviously been as a Wildcard team but that's where finding a franchise signal caller takes them. Only way this team is ever winning this division, with Brady/Belichik in NE, is by finding "the guy". -
Kryk: Firing Rex Ryan not enough, it's time to clean house
Wayne Cubed replied to Rico's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not arguing that Whaley has found them a Qb. He hasn't. But do you think, a different coach, could have got victories against the Jets, Dolphins and Seahawks? Those games would have been won, imo, with better coaching. -

Ok. Can this roster get to 10-11 wins, as is? Can another coach do that? If Andy Reid is coaching the Bills, do they lose to Miami(x2), Seattle and the Jets? -

Yea, I'm on board letting him pick. I think he's put together a talented enough roster to get 10-11 wins. A franchise signal caller would put the Bills at 12+ wins, with this roster. -

Like I posted in the other thread, are people saying this team isn't talented enough, with another coach, to win 10 or 11 games? There wasn't moments this season, day against Seattle or Miami, where a different coach could have actually pulled out the victory? -
Kyle Shanahan for Head Coach. Here is why...
Wayne Cubed replied to dezertbill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was said the Pegulas really liked Kyle Shanahan the first time around but wanted to go with an experienced coach because they felt the team was close. I know I've said I like him, he's had success. Maybe they chose to go with him second time around. Somehow they keep Lynn as OC and bring in Bradley. -

So basically people think that Whaley hasn't put together a talented enough roster? Are we saying that another coach, a better one than Rex, couldn't get 10 or maybe 11 wins out of these players? Could Andy Reid or someone similar not get 10 wins out of this team? Because to my eyes, I can look at the Miami(x2), and Seattle games and Rex's horrible coaching of the defense, would add 3 wins to the season. Does Whaley need to still figure out the QB position? Of course, he's drafted 2 this far and signed many a FA. Needs to just keep plugging away. -

Pegula owes Carlucci a public apology
Wayne Cubed replied to Mr. WEO's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Um he also said Whaley would be gone too. So Vic was wrong, the report was that he told both Rex and Whaley to fix the Bills in a year. Incorrect report if Whaley is still there, so why should he apologize? -
So Who's Fault Is It Really ?? Coach or Players ?
Wayne Cubed replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Or maybe, just maybe, Rex's defense is so overly complicated the players can't play instinctively. They are too busy trying to remember checks and what they're suppose to be doing instead of just reacting. And the CBA, with its time limits, has made it impossible for the players to see enough of the field during practice. Rex chooses to fill these players heads with complicated schemes and game plans. And it started way back in training camp, when they could have been working on reacting to plays. Using instinct. This largely same group of players played defense perfectly fine under Schwartz. Did they have their warts? Yup. Were they unusually healthy as a unit? Yup. Sure, they let long runs on 3rd down. They let Tom Brady pick them apart. But that defense played better. They made stops. They got the offense the ball back. -
It's definitely the inconsistent swings from quarter to quarter. Or drive to drive. Mind boggling. For me though, they are the worst run defense in Bills history. Prior to 2016 the franchise gave up 3, 200 yard rushers. This when the NFL was a run first league. How Rex managed to give up 3 this season, I'll never understand. They are also the 3 highest totals for the year.

I'd be ok with keeping Lynn as HC, promoting one of his guys to OC and hiring Gus Bradley as DC. Bradley's defenses in Seattle were very good, he was just a horrible head coach. It would also be a change back to 4-3, which I think the Bills are better suited for.

A Rex Apologist Says Enough
Wayne Cubed replied to WhitewalkerInPhilly's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Has to be one of the worst. Seriously, I remember being so upset about how bad George Edwards run defense was. Felt like they couldn't stop anything. This is worse. -
Appreciate you doing this all season Gunner. Don't think there is much point anymore. The defense is ****.
